Chapter 22: The lost Samurai

In the morning when i wake up, i heard my phone ringing. When i looked who's calling, the letter made my heart beating really fast. It's the GOD.

"Hello"

"Ah, it finally connected. Touya-kun i ask something?"

His tone made my body shudder. It looked he knew. With a giving up tone i then answer.

"Yes"

"Why i feel another living person on your soul? Even for me that was an imposible feat."

After thinking carefully to how to answer his question, i decided to tell yhe truth to him. With that maybe i can ask his help about the problem we are facing.

"So like that huh? No wonder i felt something a miss when reincarnating you."

"I'm sorry to just stay quite"

"No problem my son. Because of your gift didn't really had connection on your world. And because it was connected to your soul, i can give you a little help."

"Really?"

"But in exchange. You and those that connected to you by using your gift must help you to ptotect the world."

"I'll do my best to persuade them"

"Good answer. Now done. I've already expand your gift. You can check it yourself later."

"Thank you very much"

"Your welcome"

After he hung the phone my body lost all of it power. 

'That was really nervewracking'

When i heard a knock the door, i know it already the time. After changing the mood, i then go toward the door. On outside the door, i can see the twin ready to go. As promised, today we will go toward adventure guild. Let's just hope that scary receptionist didn't try to block our way. 

"Let me clean up a bit"

"Okay"

After hearty breakfast and promising Mika that i'll give out another recipe for desert for Aer, we then moving toward the Adventure Guild.

When we arrive, i can felt a piercing look that targetting me. I can only gave out a wry smile toward the one giving me that look. Ignoring the look, i then taking the delivery mission of Zanac. Seeing i didn't take a hunting mission she gave out a relief sigh. 

'Just wait until we came with Yumina.'

With a spark of lightning between us, i then taking the girls out and move toward Zanac store. On the way there i ask the twin about how long the journey from here toward the Capital. They only look at me with a dead eyes. Else then said.

"If you don't know why taking the quest?"

With Linze act as middleman between us, we are on temporary truce for now. Looking at the clothing store in front of us made me a smiling. We then go inside the store. 

"Ah hello again! It's been a while isn't it. How have you been"

"Quite well. Thank you for the help the another day"

"Ahaha, don't worry about that. So do you want to buy a new clothes of maybe you bring something new?"

"Actually...."

I then tell him about our purpose after introducing the twin toward him. He then bring us toward a room in the back. After one of the employee serving us a tea, he finally come to the point. 

"For this job. I would like you to sent a letter to a Viscount Swordrick in the capital. If you mention my name, he should know what is it about. I would like you to came back with the response from the Viscount."

After giving him an affirmative, he then taking out the letter and put it on a small tube. It had maybe an insignia of the Viscount house? I don't want to pry other person secret though. 

"Also here the travel expense. I put a bit more for you to use it for sightseeint on capital."

"Thank you very much, oh yeah Zanac-san. Can i sold you this design? Or maybe you can buy our wolf leather after i tanning them."

"What a marvelous design. I'll pay when i done making some prototype.  About that wolf leather. I heard the news. You can sold to me when you done. Is that agreeable"

"Ok then. Please excuse us Zanac-san."

After coming out from the house the twin pressing me about something they totally forgot. That is when and where i skin the wolf. I only answer them by rub their hair and then ran toward the inn. We need at least tell Mika that we will away a bit long and prepare some ration. 

The preparation is taking about an hour. Buying a food, cooking utensils and some tent. We need to prepare in some condition that will happen on the road. Done with everything, with using a rental carriage we move onward Capital.

Few hours has passed and we just pass a city named Nolan. We take a little break on that city to feed the horse. With my inability to steer the carriage, i got the job to feed the horse. After about half an hour rest, we continue our leisure journey. 

When the sun about to fall we finally arrive at another city called Amanesque. To not dissapoint Zanac, we use the money to rent a room on a bit high costed inn. The twin taking a double room and i take a single one. 

Because we are on an unknown place, we then decide the had an early dinner. That really will help me. The girls on chat really clamoring when i'll use the invitation ticket. Four ticket that i got from the mission from the dxd world. 

By the way their reward really made me speechless. The reward is between strengthening the ability the had or some auxilary power that will help their ability. 

After calming myself to not envying the girls, i focused on the thing on my front. There are japanese looking girl surrounded by a several men. The lost Samurai, nope wrong the Glutton Samurai that her true tittle. She suddenly looking atound with an angry look on her face ignoring the man surrounding her.
