A long period of hunting started for me there. It was also a period of anxiety for those who stayed in Loistavadvaar. I knew how they were feeling with each passing day, as I too had moments in my life where I felt helpless.
I heated those memories. That's all they were now since I changed my life, overcoming every obstacle that appeared on my road. The trouble we got ourselves this time, though, was of astronomical level, so they just couldn't decide to make a difference, then forge this decision into reality. There was no time for that.
I was unable to think too much about it all, though, because I had my hands full with hunting. So only in the moments where I had a little bit of a breather, my mind would go there. I guess I was lucky because of that too.
The first major change in what I was doing, came with the moment when I managed to gather four more crystals. It was quite the effort, because all the ghosts in the area got already killed, and I had to look much further. It took a couple of days, but eventually, I gathered the stones.
Then I returned because, in my mind, I should have enough to unlock 'Shadow emperor'. I was correct in my calculation.
I scored 1 042 747 389 921 000 regular points and 45 822 class points, for a total of 1 114 812 155 449 000 points and 107 653 class points. Enough, to go for the previously mentioned evolution. I got it.
It unlocked for me two new skills. Both kinda unique. The first one was called 'Disintegrate', and its uniqueness was in the name since every previous skill in those classes had either shadows or void in its name. Yeah, that's all. It was not that useful actually, as it allowed me to completely destroy anything in the vicinity which was significantly weaker than me. It would help with killing armies of weaklings, but the strong opponents, like ghosts, were out of the reach of that skill.

The second, kinda unique skill was the good old 'Unknown Void skill'. The same I had in 'Wrath of the void' class. It made me wonder if it was the same thing, or if I just need to do something fancy to unlock something extraordinary in each of those classes.
I upgraded all skills to the twelfth level, and one, the 'Void essence V' I bought completely. The price tag was 800 002 000 000 000 points, which left me with 314 810 155 469 000. I had to spend some more to get myself back to a perfect state, and then I went to get The Great One, so he would point me to a place where I could look for stronger ghosts.
In my mind that was the only way to gather enough crystals, so I would be able to get stronger quickly. As usual, it had to be through risking my life, but actually, that was something I missed a lot in the fights.
The very fine and thin line between life and death, where I was putting my all to use. Where every little mistake could mean the end. I simply felt fully alive at those moments.
And that is how I found myself in a completely new city.
It was a dark place. Heavy gray clouds were hanging above, letting only very little light go through them, making some of them have this red coloration, which further turned more towards orange.
But that was not the most spectacular thing I saw out there.
I emerged from a gate in a relatively small plaza, surrounded by smaller pieces of architecture, but my eyes immediately bought much taller skyscrapers, which looked like ants besides the gargantuan ones, further on the horizon. Those were so tall, that they could literally touch the clouds. They were triangular in shape, and the very tip, hidden in the grey fluff, sometimes was shining brightly with blue, thanks to the electrical energy gathering there from the clouds.

A couple of times I noticed ships flying up high in the sky
Just like before, I had to pull my attention from those breathtaking views, because there was no time for sightseeing. I came to that place with purpose. Everything else other than hunting was waste of time, and I had to remind myself of that.
It made me finally leave the immediate vicinity of the area around the portal, and go further.
According to The Great One, that place had at least one opponent which should bring me a lot of points. I just needed to find him, which wasn't easy, because this city, like the last one, was unimaginably big.
I was looking carefully around, but there was no movement except for the occasional ship, up above, poking from the clouds, just to vanish again. My search continued for a few more hours, but the conclusion I came up to was simple - the streets were completely empty. It made me start to think where else I should look, and as I did that, my eyes wandered towards those massive, gargantuan skyscrapers. They were like complete mountains, up ahead on the horizon.
- Yeah, up there... That's where I should look - I said to myself.
With this, I blasted through the city to reach the closest one, but as I was charging toward it, I soon changed my mind. That wasn't the best choice. There was another one, a bit further, which my gut was pointing at. Its peak was covered in blue electrical energy, surging from the sky in form of lightning.
I headed there, and the closer I got, the stronger the buzzing of the electricity became.
After I arrived at something which looked like an entrance. A massive door made out of some alloy, more or less rectangular, with a circular top part. I approached it slowly, but nothing happened. I kinda thought that they might open for me, but they didn't.
