The Great One had to realize that I either was gone or in big trouble, as he increased his presence in the fight with a few beams of psionic powers. All that was just an appetizer, so he could get closer.
Druoag also helped, by a lot, trying to attack her, but I noticed, without a doubt, that those were fake attacks. He was very careful to not get himself caught like me. He would either throw rocks at her from distance, or jump to get her, but in those attempts, he always made sure he had enough distance to not end up in her grasp.
She tried a few times, but he was careful and avoided all of those attempts.
With them buying time for me, I was able to get the hell away from her by shadow walking a few times. I ended up by The Great One side, as he kept trying to shoot the bitch down from the sky.
- She is growing stronger! - he yelled at me. - We either have to take her down now, or we should run to try another day!
- We won't have another chance like this! - I replied.
All the noise from continuous attacks was making it hard to talk, and he clearly couldn't allow himself to split his focus to speak directly to my mind. He seemed exhausted by that point.
I desperately tried to think of a way, but just couldn't come up with anything. I analyzed my skillset and there was nothing I could think of, that possibly could make any difference. At least in the beginning, because as I desperately tried, the answer came by itself. I wasn't sure if it was the correct one, but in our situation, anything was better than nothing.
It took me a few seconds, which really pushed The Great One and Druoag to their limits, as keeping the Hight Queena at bay wasn't an easy task. I learned that myself not too long ago when I was the only one dancing with her.

- I have an idea! I just need space! I need some room! I have no idea if it will work, but it's better than nothing! - I yelled.
The alien nodded to my words since he was too focused to do anything else.
- We will hold her even if it means our death! - he assured me.
I found it a little bit overboard, but there was no time to discuss his dramatic assurance. Instead of wasting the time on idle chatting, I shadow walked a few times, to get as far as possible, and then I still kept going, until the sounds of transpiring battle became dull.
When I finally stopped, I closed my mind and pushed the 'Shadow fusion' past the barrier of 70%. I regretted it immediately, as the pain made me collapse. I puked, trembling. It was way worse than being torn to shreds by the High Queen.
Then I tried again. Gritting my teeth so bad that some of them broke under the immense pressure of my jaw muscles. A vision of white overwhelmed me, blocking my hearing and other senses. There was just pain.
When I returned to the real world I was on all fours, bleeding from my nose and eyes. I barfed, but this time it was red.
The first thing I realized, was that what I wanted to achieve, was for some reason impossible. The second thing was, that the sounds of transpiring battle were getting closer.
I was the one who managed to hurt her, so it had a lot of sense, to go after me, while the others were just wasting her time while avoiding being killed by her. She had to realize that and was unwilling to chase after them because it was pointless. Instead, she went after me, maybe hoping that I was weak enough for her to kill without any trouble.

It actually could be the case, as I was unsure if my legs would carry my weight after what just happened.
- What the fuck do I do? - I asked myself as the hope left my mind.
For the very first time, in an incredibly long while, I wanted to cry, as I felt helpless. Images of my friends, who could already be dead, or definitely would die after this conflict concluded, flashed through my mind.
I saw Tihana, smiling at me with Tam in her hands. I saw my mother. I saw Will and the boys.
I saw Sudarshana. I saw all those people, whom I met in my last year on earth. Even the annoying agents. Lastly, I saw Nadia.
She wouldn't be happy if I were to give up. I never gave up before, no matter what happened. I pushed through discomfort, through pain, and through fear. I told myself I will never give up.
I gritted my teeth again, and tiny bits of them broke off. I could feel the fragments on the inside of my lips. Then I let out a growl as I pushed to achieve the higher percentage of the 'Shadow fusion' once again.
It changed into a scream. The images kept going through my head, repeating over and over again. The people I cared about. My home. My planet. She hurt me and attempted to take everything from me. It all was like a wave of emotion, that pierced through the veil of white, the veil of pain - and I felt it.
I felt my death approaching. I couldn't help but think that it all was a mistake. I was but a mere vessel for an unknown power, gifted me by the strange device. I understood it, but barely, and I definitely didn't expect for the entire void to suddenly try and burst through me into the world I was currently in.
I was like a pipe that was supposed to allow an ocean to flow through it. It just simply couldn't work. I couldn't handle it. All the cells in my body were screaming in agony, as the essence was devouring them. My ability suddenly became cannibalistic, as it tried to swallow me, the user.
After that... I don't know what happened. I couldn't see anything.
