After I visited all of my friends, the time for a little something that I'd been pushing away for quite a while now, came. I shadow walked to my hometown, to the apartment building where my mother was living. Mustering up the courage, I went to her flat, and then knocked on the door.
At first, I heard a bit of noise coming from the inside, and the door opened in front of me, revealing my mother.
We looked at one another for a few long seconds, before I said 'Hello' to her. Obviously, we didn't speak in English, so I'm going to be translating some of what was said.
She didn't answer me, just went inside, to the kitchen, leaving the door open. I knew it was an invitation, so I followed her, closing the door behind me.
She turned the electric kettle on, then took two cups from a cupboard, and a box of tea, and prepared everything for us to have a warm drink.
- You like to keep me worried, don't you? - she asked while working.
- It was... - I started but didn't finish.
- You don't have to give me excuses - she said. - It's good to see you, son.
Her words put a smile on my face. I went to sit down by the kitchen table.
- You have a lot to tell me - she pointed out after a moment of silence. - People forgot about you, even here. I forgot, but I remember now. Others don't.
The water in the electric kettle began boiling. She waited until the mechanism clicked, then poured the hot liquid into both cups. Then she brought them to the table, placing one in front of me, and one in front of herself, as she sat down.
- It's a long story - I said and sighed.

Then I proceeded to tell her everything, up to the very recent events.
- And we decided to get married - I finished my speech.
The last part made her worried face turn to a much brighter version. She smiled at me.
- She sounds like a sweet girl. I want to meet her - she informed me.
- Of course, just - I sighed again. - The recent events, with the cartel... I don't want to bring you into this mess again. You know how it was with all the agents.
- You are trying to tell me that I'm not invited to the wedding? - she asked.
I noticed this very faint tone informing me that my words made her angry.
- No! Of course, you are invited, just... I think... - I had to carefully choose my words at that moment. - I think that it would be safer if I helped you travel myself, so we can keep the secrecy. It would be best if you moved to Arc, frankly speaking, but I know you won't.
- My home is here - she said. - This is my country, this is where everybody I know lives, so I'm not going anywhere.
I just nodded to her words.
- So it would be better if nobody linked you to me. I already made enough chaos. Now everybody will be watching me. It's just a matter of time before they became really annoying - I stated.
- I understand - she replied after a moment, which she needed to digest what I said.
Then we talked some more while drinking the tea. It was just meaningless chatter to spend some time together. Eventually, though, I had to leave, but I left her a little bit of cash behind. I had to drop it, then quickly evacuate because otherwise she probably wouldn't take it from me.

I returned home, immediately after, slightly tired because of all the talking. Celestine was away, Tihana, Leonel, and Carmelita were playing in the garden with Tam, who was the biggest enjoyed of the two new members of the family, as they were really thrilled by the idea of an intelligent chicken, who understood human language.
He seemed to enjoy the attention, which, I'm not gonna lie, was pissing me off a bit. It was really weird since he was still a part of me, so technically I was getting annoyed by myself.
I felt like I should do something to get closer to them, but for some reason, I was hesitant to do anything. Maybe because I didn't have a good idea of how to do it, which was kinda frustrating. I tried to find a solution, but my thoughts got invaded by the familiar voice of The Great One.
"Time has come. We should travel to the place where it all began, and bring the seeds", he said.
"You mean now?", I asked. "This is quite sudden, especially because I'm in the middle fo something. I'm getting married."
"This is too important to wait", was his response.
Good thing that I didn't have a table near me when I heard that, because I swear, I would flip that thing.
? Now pissed off, I looked around for a piece of paper, to write Celestine a message, which then I put on the fridge, so she would be able to notice it easily.
"Something very important came up. I have to leave for a few days. I'll return as soon as possible. Please take care of the kids. I'm sorry that I'm leaving you alone with this mess, but I have very little choice. The stakes are too big."
That was what I wrote, then I shadow walked to Loistavadvaar, expecting The Great One to already be there, but he wasn't. I had to wait for a moment before he appeared in his Ixa form.
- This will be a strange journey, so prepare your mind - he told me as soon as he showed up. - Take everything you need with you. Food, water, maybe a good book. It will take us some time to arrive there.
I nodded, then did a little shopping on the device. I got food, I got drinks, and that was about it. Then I presented myself again in front of the alien.
