Chapter 1: The Beginning

My name is Allyson Barny and I'm a seventeen year old who happens to be famous for being hidden. Yeah, famous for being hidden. My mom a really large actress has kept me hidden from the day I was born. I never questioned it thinking it was just cause I would be targeted because of my mom being famous. Wrong. I was hidden because I was special. Different than everyone else in the world. I know I know. Everyone is different in their own ways. For me it's more different than anyone else.

The first sign that I was different? I was born with white hair. Not platinum blonde hair. Pure white hair that sparkled in the sun. It was almost blinding. The second sign? I learned how to do everything way faster than any other child would. By the time I was five I was reading large chapter books for young adults. The third and final sign that proved I was different was when I accidentally teleported to the medieval age. I didn't stay there long but I knew then that I was different from anyone else. Who else can travel through time?

So ever since I was seven I have been able to travel time but most of the time I stay in modern times. Like there are people who need me here. My mom for example. She has slowly started losing her mind after my father left. The reason why my poor father left my amazing and rich mom? Me. When I was born my dad was happy and loved me. At least until I started growing up mentally way too fast. So now it's just me and my mom.

I never went to a normal school since my mom decided it was too dangerous for me. So I was homeschooled by the best tutor my mom could find. I don't really need the tutor though because I have taught myself most of what I know. Now that I would be a senior in school I have started to have more accidents with my gift. I have started traveling farther or closer to the future. One time I traveled to the time of the dinosaurs in my sleep. It's really weird but it's who I am. Even if I am some magical human being I am still me. I should probably stop explaining and start telling my story shouldn't I.

"Allyson!" My mom called from me downstairs in our mansion. I got up off my bed and went downstairs. "What do you need mom?" I ask when I get to the living room where my mom was laying with another guy next to her?

"I want you to meet someone." She said as she gestured to the man. 

"Who is he?" I ask as I examine him. He had dark eyes and black hair. 

"I'm Corey and I'm your mom's brother" He said as he looked at me. 

"You have a brother?!" I asked loudly as I looked at my mom. 

"Well yeah.." She said as she looked at me. I glared at the man before getting up. "Well I'm gonna go." I say as I turn to leave. 

"Allyson wait. I was going to tell you earlier but I didn't know how to." My mom said trying to calm me down.

"You had 17 years to tell me." I say my tone is hot with anger. I got up and quickly walked upstairs. I went up to my room and flopped down on my bed closing my eyes. "I can't believe she never told me about him." I mumbled to myself as I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling.

I woke up staring at a canopy of trees. "Not again." I mumbled as I  sat up and looked around. I heard bugs buzzing around me and heard birds chirping nearby. "A jungle?" I questioned as I stood up and walked towards the sound of running water. I saw a river and closed my eyes trying to figure out where I was. 

"The Amazon Rainforest." I say looking at the water seeing a pink dolphin swim by. It was really peaceful here in the rainforest. I needed this chance to get away so I could calm down. I sat down by the water and dipped my bare feet in. The water was cool and I closed my eyes taking in the air listening to the birds. I heard a growl nearby and shook my head thinking nothing of it. 

I looked up to see a leopard walking on a branch. I smiled as I watched her walk towards a bird. A baby leopard followed her and I smiled as I walked down the river watching her. I closed my eyes feeling warm and traveled back to my home in LA.
