Today, a lot of things happened, which made Ginjiro want to see Elvis, so he asked Sebastian to drop him off at the park in front of the fountain.
“Thank you, Sebastian. Please bring the orphanage children tomorrow. I’ll treat everyone to shaved ice.”
I shook hands with Sebastian, parted ways, and went straight to Elvis’s store, which is located facing the Fountain Square.
“Yo, Ginjiro, how are you?”
When I enter the store, Elvis, a wild handsome blonde, gives me a passionate hug.
“I came here to report, or rather, to consult, and later to complain.”
“Complaints are a dangerous thing.” A handsome man raises his hands.
I laughed, thinking that this guy still good looking no matter what he does, and Elvis’s father laughed too.
“Dad, can I go now?”
His father gives him an OK, so Elvis and I go outside.
It was still light, so the women who spotted Elvis glanced at him.
As I thinking that good-looking men are enemies, we arrived at the Hungry Bear.
“Welcome back Ginjiro-chan, and Elvis-chan welcome back too.”
After being soothed by Clara, we sit down at the end of the room at the counter.
Franz came to take our order, so we ordered an ale first.
I asked Bernie to boil the sausages that Oliver, the chef of the Mainz family, had given me.
Sausages are delicious grilled, but Ginjiro prefers them boiled.
He took out some mustard from the item box and waited for the number one snack to go with today’s ale to appear.
Bernie knows Oliver, and it seems that on rare occasions he comes to the Hungry Bear to drink ale.
When I gave Franz a silver coin, he immediately brought me an ale.
“Progit!”
We bumped wooden cups to toast.
“So, what’s happening today?”
Elvis orders a refill after finishing his ale and pays Franz by flicking a silver coin with his thumb.
I tell him that I will open a food stall at the summer festival and that I will try the stall at the morning market starting tomorrow.
Elvis laughs at me and says it sounds interesting.

I was going to ask him about the necklace that Maria and the florist’s daughter are wearing, but I suddenly feel like an uncouth person, so I decide to not ask him about that.
Elvis said he would show up at the morning market tomorrow and he knew Master Hartman.
He is a difficult man, but his skills are top-notch, and he is a celebrity who has been recognized as a “living national treasure” of this country.
A living national treasure is an amazing thing, I thought, but on second thought, I felt that he was just an unsociable old man who drank a lot of alcohol.
He would snatch the ham that people were looking forward to, and would never come out when called at the entrance of the workshop.
Elvis seriously laughed at me when I told him that I had such a celebrity build me a trash can and a table.
I tell him that Master also likes to drink and that we should have a drink together next time.
“Here you go, Ginjiro-chan!”
Two fine sausages on a plate.
Of course, there is also Elvis’s share.
“Here, try put these on.”
I recommend mustard to Elvis.
He cuts the sausage with a knife and fork, dips it in the mustard, and puts it in his mouth.
Ginjiro, watching Elvis’s elegant gesture with a sideways glance, picks up the sausage with his fork.
With one touch of the mustard, he gobbles up the sausage, which is brimming with juices.
After enjoying the hot and juicy sausage, he pours the ale to wash away all the fat in his mouth.
“Ginjiro this is awesome. But look at the surroundings. Everyone is drooling when they see how deliciously we eat sausages.”
Elvis patted Ginjiro on the back.
“Thank you for giving us the sausage, but the customer wants to eat it, so can I serve it?”
Clara made an offer, but I only gave her a portion that only enough for us and Bernie’s family.
That is not enough to fill the stomachs of the adventurers in the dining hall.
Ginjiro then pulls out more sausages from the item box and gives them to her.
“Please use this and the mustard to make money. All you have to pay for is two mugs of ale.”
“Thank you, Ginjiro-chan. Thank you very much.”
After that, more sausages were served, and the ale sold like hotcakes again at the Hungry Bear.
