“Would you like to ask me if I know what I’ve done?” Long Di asked them.
When Long Di asked them this, their expressions darkened, and the female in front was particularly enraged.
“Screw you! Auntie Metal, Uncle Metal kill him!”
****
The two middle-aged demons stepped forward and eyed Long Di warily.
The power of the spear he fired earlier was no joke and its most dangerous feature was needing no time to prepare it. Long Di could fire it in an instant and they would have little time to react.
Plus, Long Di himself was an anomaly. He gave off no killing intent, yet made a killing move! To true experts like them, this made no sense and put them in even more danger since no movement he made would put them on guard!
Everything from before happened much too fast. They weren’t even able to get a clear handle on Long Di’s true strength. With this in mind, they weren’t too rash and tried their best to calm themselves down.
“Which sect is this young one from?” the man asked.
Long Di’s brow furrowed at this question, “Do you truly care?”
The man placed his hands behind him and adopted the air of an experienced senior as he went on, “I don’t think that this young friend with your talents is someone unknown. I wonder if I heard the name of your sect before? Maybe we’re contemporaries?”
Though he was doing this to calm himself and everyone else down, there was another reason for this. Long Di’s earlier move shocked them too much. To kill someone from one of the ten great sects so easily and not bat an eye represented two things.
One, Long Di was someone who was immensely powerful and talented. Only one of the ten great sects would be able to nurture such a heaven-defying freak. Two, Long Di knew who they were and was still so heavy-handed with his attacks. Only someone with backing comparable to the ten great sects would dare stand against them.
However, above all these, Long Di gave him an unnerving sense of unease and it was these thoughts that caused him to not attack outright.
“You haven’t heard of my sect before because I’m sect-less,” admitted Long Di.
Uncle Metal’s expression changed. Long Di didn’t seem like an easy opponent, and he didn’t want to possibly risk war with one of the other ten great sects. The Iron Body Forge Sect was the newest of the ten great sects and their overall power was just a tad shy of the true power of the ten great sects.
“Uncle Metal, stop talking with him and kill him!” shrieked the young female disciple.
In her eyes, the iron Body Forge Sect was not an existence anyone could offend, much less a young, dead-faced, charm of a cockroach, dementia inducing by-way-of verbal cancer person like Long Di.
Uncle Metal shot a look toward Auntie Metal, and she could tell what was on his mind. However, she still nodded. This meant that they needed to acquiesce to the wish of the young demon behind them.
She would never let Long Di off and Long Di was being… Long Di.
Seeing that their hands were tied, Uncle Metal faced Long Di once more and assumed a stance followed by Auntie Metal. “then sorry for the offence.”
D-Du-Dum!
Their powers erupted as their skin took on a bright silver tone. Their cauldrons spread out behind them whilst their pressure magnified.
Long Di didn’t mind this and simply assumed a stance of his own. These weren’t two elders he was facing, but more like two deacons.
Their cultivation bases reflected this, as the male was a nine star-core martial master, while Auntie Metal was an eight star-core martial master.
The power of two mere deacons was already as powerful as the most powerful elders and chief elder of the Nether Immolation War Temple. This was how strong the iron Body Forge Sect was.
Shu!
The two deacons shot out at the same time with their arms extended toward Long Di.
Auntie Metal’s claws flashed with a silver glint, whilst Uncle Metal’s palm possessed a similar silver glimmer!
Long Di made no move and only stared at them with less than mild interest. The two of them teaming up to fight Long Di was already a blow to their prestige and pride as experts, but for Long Di to not pay them any mind during it was a proverbial slap to the face, the kind where the lip split and teeth flew.
D-D-D-Dum!
Suddenly, Long Di’s cauldrons blasted into being him, followed by a calm voice.
“Cauldron suppression.”
Vrrrm!
Before anyone had time to prepare, a terrifying pressure surged over that encompassed not just the two deacons, but even the disciples behind them.
“Guh!”
“Urkh!”
The two deacons realised that something was wrong when their cauldrons dimmed. The star cores went dark as the silver glow of their moves dulled.
The circulation of their somatic essence slowed to less than a crawl.
They immediately became flustered as they never encountered a cauldron that was able to suppress theirs to such an extent.
Long Di then raised his arm, pointing it toward Uncle Metal.
Krrrsh!
The latter was only able to put up a hasty cross arm block before a lighting spear formed and blasted toward him!
Bam!
The lightning spear crashed into Uncle Metal and sent him flying back!
“Uncle Metal!” Auntie Metal shouted as her partner crashed into the walls of the tunnel!
Krrrsh!
A sense of unease filled her, and she looked in front to see a finger flickering with lightning qi converging upon her. It was mere inches from her eyes, and her natural instinct compelled her to shift her head to the side.
Blood flew as the strike dug out a gash in the side of her head!
She retreated in a hurry, only to see Long Di pressing the assault, now armed with a hammer that filled her with fear.
Krrrsh!

Lightning crackled all over the hammerhead and Auntie Metal and a sense of doom enveloped her!
Long Di’s cauldron suppression caused her fighting prowess to drop a few tiers and, even worse, Long Di was able to fight above his realm!
‘Breaking Mundane Forging Heaven. First Forging, Nine tempers.’
B-B-Ba-
Boom!
An impact sent Long Di reeling back as Uncle Metal reemerged with daunting injuries all over!
Two holes were evident on both of his forearms whilst another much shallower hole was present in the middle of his chest!
Blood flowed continuously from these wounds, and he stared at Long Di with a livid expression!
Auntie Metal’s head was already filled with wounds from the first couple of hits from the Breaking Mundane Forging Heaven technique before Uncle Metal saved her.
“Are you okay?” he came to her side with a hand around her shoulder.
“I-” she steadied a gaze at Long Di before her eyes widened in a panic, “Look out!”
Krrrsh!
A lightning spear was already before her and Uncle Metal was just about to give his all to deflect it when his senses screamed for him to turn his head.
Following this action, he saw an old rusty hammer that was already too close to his head for him to do anything else but look upon it and regret ALL the choices he made in life that led him to this point.
That time he was a baby and pooped in whatever counts as a diaper for a demon? Instant regret. Because that moment existed in a life that led to this current moment.
By now, Long Di had already crashed into the wall of the tunnel himself, but he made sure to let loose several moves in succession.
Bam!
The hammer crashed into Uncle Metal’s head, and it immediately caved in, even with the powerful physical body he possessed.
Boom!
He crashed into the wall with a loud crash, but before he could register much of anything in his dazed state, a stunning sight took centre stage.
Long Di was merciless! Several lightning spears covered his vision, and he knew that should a few of these land on him, his life was forfeit. But the earlier impact caused his blood to flip and his organs to be displaced!
He couldn’t move as he would like for the moment!
Without warning, a haggard figure appeared before him.
“Auntie Metal!”
Auntie Metal had a hole in her shoulder flickering with lightning, but she couldn’t pay attention to this.
If Uncle Metal lost his life here, then her life wouldn’t be far behind, so she had to protect him!
She shot a gaze towards the disciples who came with her and she could see their expressions of disbelief, especially the lead disciple.
She had no idea how Long Di was this strong despite being so young!
What sense did this make!? Long Di was how old? Ten? Eleven, maybe? So why was he a Martial Master!? Why did he have such powerful moves under his belt!?
“Escape now!” Auntie Metal’s shriek jolted them from their daze!
Auntie Metal couldn’t pay any more attention to them at the moment and executed a set of hand signs in the blink of an eye!
“Silver Aegis!”
Shing!
Her entire body shone with a silver glow, one much more intense than the faint glow that already encased her.
She quickly made a move to assume the same pose Uncle Metal was in so that every lightning spear that was going to hit him would hit her instead!
C-C-C-C-C-Clang! Clang! Clang!
The lightning spears crashed into her body with metallic echoing in the tunnel before the impact alone caused them to explode with lightning qi all around!
“What are you doing!? Leave!” Auntie Metal’s expression was ugly when she saw that the disciples were still present.
The young female disciple that was the leader flinched at Auntie Metal’s reproach. However, she knew that both she and the disciples’ lives were in danger.
She more than underestimated Long Di, and she and the others needed to escape the tunnel to tell the tale of this demon!
With her mind, she turned tail and ran. She, who was a disciple of the Iron Body Forge Sect, had to run with her tail tucked between her legs. This humiliation was something that could not easily be resolved.
As she ran, she looked back at the spot where Long Di had landed following Uncle Metal’s attack and could see where he knelt on one knee, with his gaze in their direction.
Her blood ran cold upon meeting his emotionless scrutiny.
Eeengh!
A screeching noise drew her attention to three lightning spears that were headed for her and the others!
Mortal danger welled up within her, but she could do nothing but widen her eyes as the spears neared ever closer!
C-C-Clang!
“Auntie Metal!”
“Don’t stop! Run! Tell the Metal Seats!”
It was Auntie Metal who blocked these spears with her body, causing another eruption of lightning qi to blind them to what was happening. Only her voice could reach them and they had to ensure to carry out her wishes lest they all die here!
