Shu! Shu!
Suddenly, Ban Yan and Wan Li came to his aid in an instant and released their cultivation bases!
****
Dum! Dum!
Boom!
Nine shining cauldrons emerged behind them, rotating at extreme speeds!
Shing!
Their cauldrons were exceedingly similar to Bronze Seat Heng’s cauldrons. The star cores were inside the cauldrons as well, allowing a blazing inferno to occupy the confines within.
The flames within their cauldrons were so intense that they threatened to incinerate everything around them with splendid fury.
“Peak ninth fusion martial grandmaster!” The experts present were shocked at Ban Yan and Wan Li’s strength.
Both Wan Li and Ban Yan were at the absolute peak of the ninth fusion of the martial grandmaster realm.
This was the first time Long Di saw the full strength of these two uncles of Yaomu Shou.
He could also see that Wan Li had six high-grade cauldrons and three medial-grade cauldrons.
It was roughly the same for Ban Yan as well. The only difference was that he had one more high-grade cauldron than his comrade. So seven high-grade cauldrons and two medial-grade cauldrons.
Long Di thought that as members of the royal family they would have higher grades of cauldrons to accompany them. It seems that mixed-blood demons received worse treatment no matter where they went in the Demon Region.
He wasn’t complaining either. He appreciated their help at the moment. This must be what the Destiny Scale knew would happen.
Ban Yan glared at Long Di like he wished to strangle the latter, “You fool! Why didn’t you tell us you had such a thing via spiritual transmission!?”
‘Good question. Steely, why didn’t I tell them I had such a thing via spiritual transmission?’ Long Di asked.
After a moment of hesitation, it responded. [… My intentions are beyond your understanding.]
‘Your intentions can kiss the darker parts of my ass.’ Long Di could smell the bullsh*t and it could fertilise a whole field.
This thing legit just didn’t think of that and tried to pawn it off as some 4D chess-level Machiavellian scheme.
“Hand the boy over!” Gang Heng demanded.
“Screw you!” Ban Yan declared.
‘So that’s where she gets it from,’ Long Di thought to himself.
“Die!” Bronze Seat Heng unleashed a palm strike that shone with an intense bronze glow!
Wan Li flew up in the face of this powerful attack and countered it with a fist strike!
Boom!
Bronze Seat Heng flew back, spurting a trail of blood as he went!
“Hm!?” Wan Li was shocked when he looked down at his fist to see it cracked and bleeding. Moreover, there was a strange energy present that kept his wound from healing.
He was a peak ninth fusion martial grandmaster, while Bronze Seat Heng was only in the early stages of the ninth fusion of the martial grandmaster realm.
This was a difference in strength that was impossible to fight across at their levels of strength. Yet, even across this distance, Bronze Seat Heng was able to harm him.
He could see that Bronze Seat Heng had nine high-grade cauldrons to support him. That explained the situation somewhat.
However, it was Bronze Seat Heng’s strange energy that caused a sense of unease to sprout within him.
“This Bronze Seat Heng is too strange!!” Wan Li said to himself. He executed a set of hand seals and a powerful pressure spread out as he drove his cultivation technique to the limit!
Space rippled around him before it fractured under his power!
A formless wind ravaged the plains as the power of a peak ninth fusion martial grandmaster erupted!
Blazing white somatic essence covered his body in an instant while his eyes flashed with a lethal glint!
He then pulled out a spear or something that was like a spear. It was a metal pole and at the end of it was something similar to an elephant’s tusk. It was pitch black and exuded an incomparably heavy aura.
“Tyrannical Divine Demon Mammoth Spear!”
The trumpeting of an elephant rang out as the vague manifestation of a massive Divine Mammoth enveloped him.
Its body was as large as a mountain, with its head only being visible if one looked straight up and even then it was hard to see.
It was covered in fur that was thick to an obscene degree with an outer covering of long guard hairs that were as strong as steel. A pair of black tusks curved upwards as if they intended to pierce the heavens!
Each swing of its massive head caused a powerful wind to whip all around.
The void trembled as it trampled all over to ready its charge.
Wan Li rushed straight for Bronze Seat Heng, intending to kill him here and now!
Bronze Seat Heng saw Wan Li heading for him with the spear and the Tyrannical Divine Demon Mammoth that accompanied him!
His body was a blazing inferno of somatic essence that fueled the spear while the trumpeting of a mammoth rang out every now and again.
“Together!”
Suddenly, out of nowhere, several demons came together and activated their defences one after another.
Several earthen walls hundreds of metres high were erected one after the other.
Following this, metal bulwarks of varying sizes and designs fell behind them to reinforce the earthen walls.
In addition, titan-like beings knelt down and used their bodies to defend against the strike!
Blood-coloured veins covered the bodies of these titans, causing their blood qi to spike thus strengthening their defences to previously unreachable levels!
Boom!
The Tyrannical Demon Mammoth spear blasted through the earthen walls with astonishing momentum!
The manifestation appeared to have used its tusks to viciously tear through the earthen walls.

It ran into the metal bulwarks with the same level of power before they were blasted apart!
As soon as it bypassed the tenth and final metal bulwark, its speed and power clearly dropped until they landed on the titan-like beings!
Bam!
The spear crashed into them, causing them to fly back while coughing up blood, but apart from that, they were relatively fine.
Seeing that they were able to successfully resolve the attack just now, numerous elders, deacons, and family leaders all came together to block Wan Li from Bronze Seat Heng.
“Imperial Protector Wan Li, is the Yaomu family so overbearing!? Someone speaks ill and you use your position to bully others!” An elder from a top sect cursed Wan Li for his actions.
Bronze Seat Heng was surprised that these elders and deacons came to his aid. However, when he thought about it, it made sense.
Ban Yan and Wan Li were peak ninth fusion martial grandmasters! No one here was their match one on one. Apart from him, everyone else was seventh fusion and eight fusion martial grandmasters at most.
That’s why it took several tens of such experts to stop Imperial Protector Wan Li’s attack.
In addition, these people were also allies of the Iron Body Forge Sect. As a result, these people helping him were also helping themselves.
When Wan Li heard this elder, his jaw clenched shut in anger, to the point where his entire body trembled ‘Shameless!’
Ban Yan and just finished resolving a round of attacks himself and was able to keep Long Di relatively safe.
“Then where was Bronze Seat Heng’s overbearingness when he chose to attack a member of the younger generation!?” Ban Yan barked at these shameless elders who were attacking his companion in anger!
“Hmph! A wolf in sheep’s clothing! He dares to- Poof!” The elder who was speaking up coughed up blood in anger as when he had pointed his finger at Long Di, he found the latter peacefully cultivating in the background.
Did he really think this situation didn’t apply to him!?
“You beast! Stop ignoring me!”
“Shut up!” Wan Li yelled at him. “He’s suffering an extreme deficit in his spiritual force and is cultivating to restore all he lost!”
“Look at the portal! It’s gone dormant!” someone yelled.
Everyone looked over to see that the portal had gone dim at some point and as such, it wouldn’t allow for someone to exit it anymore.
“T-Then what’s happening? Are the disciples stuck?” another elder asked.
Ban Yan shook his head and answered. “The eruption of the Imperial Divine Edict probably caused the laws in there to go awry. The portal probably became active before the one-month time limit because of that. When the laws were restored, everything likely went back to normal.”
Everyone accepted this explanation as it made sense.
“Then what of…” another elder’s words trailed off, but they were all aware that he was referring to Long Di who was quietly cultivating.
They wanted to know how they should handle the issue of the medium-grade spiritual vein root.
“I think it’s best to wait until the Spiritual Bingqi Realm officially closes. When the other disciples exit it. We’ll handle it then.”
Everyone here knew that attacking Long Di wouldn’t yield much of a result. Ban Yan and Wan Li were much too powerful and no one here was able to stop them if they wanted to protect Long Di.
Waiting would definitely be a wiser option for now.
Ban Yan and Wan Li could see many powers secretly communicating with the main branch of their various powers.
With this realisation, a tense atmosphere soon set in.
Long Di didn’t care about this though, and just focused on getting back to full power.
Mina came and sat down right beside him. She was apparently undaunted by the pressure of his cauldrons.
Yaomu Qiang and his team remained a fair distance away. He stared at Long Di with unease and fear. This boy had repeatedly survived situations where he should have died.
Ban Yan and Wan Li settled their gazes on this boy who was steady enough to cultivate in the midst of such a battle. Any stray shot of theirs could have killed him, but it was like he didn’t care.
In particular, his cauldron drew a grave expression from them. These cauldrons went against everything that they knew about the grades of cauldrons. They could tell that it was a special-grade, but at the same time, there was something else.
As soon as he was back to a hundred percent. He felt several eyes shift to him in an instant.
Long Di only spared them a single glance before he turned to Mina and engaged in conversation with her. He was seemingly unperturbed by their malice-filled gazes.
The two imperial protectors inwardly praised Long Di’s steady heart. Anyone else, especially someone of the younger generation, would have buckled under such pressure.
To be stared at by countless experts far stronger than oneself and be completely unbothered by it?
They attributed this to him being a supreme genius with unmatched mental fortitude.
Unfortunately, this couldn’t have been farther from the truth. Long Di wasn’t relying on his profound mental realm to endure the pressure from the experts. He didn’t give a damn.
How could this be proven you ask?
Simple. One need only listen to what he was talking about right now.
At present, he was gloating about how he ate roast chicken in the Spiritual Bingqi Realm and that Mina never got the chance to taste it.
He then turned to the two imperial protectors and asked them where Lord Whiskers Furryback the First was.
They told him that the Shidashi Mao had entered the nearby forests to rest and wait. There were too many people here at the moment and a Shidashi Mao was not the best thing to have nearby.
Long Di then decided to call it over when he was ready for it. No need to call over a walking calamity in other people's eyes when he wasn’t leaving yet.
Ban Yan and Wan Li soon advised him of the current situation and that he needed to ready himself to run and to hand over the medium-grade spiritual vein root to them before he left.
Of course, Long Di refused and, barring the exact details, told them of the outcome of the deal made between him and Yaomu Shou.
They were between a rock and a hard place when they heard this. So they could only wait for Yaomu Shou to get back and for the officials from the Yaomu family who were arriving to take charge of the situation.
Shing!
The portal suddenly shuddered, as ripples ran across its surface once more.
“It’s time,” an elder pointed out.
Before long, a figure emerged from the portal.
An expression of happiness appeared on the Imperial Protectors’ faces. “Young Miss!”
