  “I don’t understand, h-how is this possible? I know he’s my son and all, one destined to bear many burdens, but he’s still just a child! How could he be breaking through to the Initial Immersion Tan'tien Saturation Realm already!?”

  A loud bellow of surprise came from the room that housed the crib of Long Di. Huge torrents of spiritual energy came rushing in from the outside. It covered everything in a haze of energy, giving one a refreshed feeling.

  ‘Oops, well that was a surprise, but I guess I’m becoming a Tan'tien Saturation Expert now.’

  The spiritual energy showed no signs of stopping as it steadily rushed into Long Di’s small body, granting his body a jadelike glow.

  My mother was in the corner with a worrisome look on her face and my father, well, he was worried too.

  Long Nuhuang wasted no time in reminding her husband Long Huangdi of their situation, and as if struck by lightning, he jumped into action.

  He quickly went outside and started shouting orders to his most trusted aide, Long Chen.

  “Seal the premises and make sure no one leaves the family grounds! Anything that is coming in or that is going out must be authorised by me, and anyone that MUST leave needs to be under intense scrutiny. Go!”

  The underling executed a swift bow and left to carry out his orders. Long Huangdi swiftly came back into the room that held his own young child that had freshly broken through.

  Soon, a pungent odour could be detected that assaulted the senses.

  ‘Ah, crap, did I crap myself again? I swear the downsides with me being a baby is that I have to mostly converse via thought, and worse, my only companion in that aspect is the goddess, and of course who can forget, the apparent loss of control of my bladder and other bodily functions.’

  She looked nervous as she accepted my father’s bow while my mother smiled a short distance away.

  “Y-You’re too polite, Lord Huangdi. I-I’ll take him up right now to get him cleaned.”

  Just like that, she headed towards my crib and took me up to have me all cleaned up… not my proudest moment.

  I decided to be cute as a baby and waved at my parents as Mina took me away. It was a bit funny as tears welled up in their eyes.

  Long Nuhuang watched as he was taken away. She then looked to her husband and spoke, “Alright she took him away, now we can talk.”

  “This is dangerous, his talent is too heaven-defying, at this rate it won’t be long before he breaks through to the Cauldron Forging realm. We can try to cover it up, but eventually, word will get to City Lord Weisheng Zhensheng,” said Long Huangdi in a panic.

  “Isn’t that expecting too much? I don’t believe the City Lord will kill you or him. After all, the beast tide has been moving even more tyrannically lately, and even he needs all the help he can get to suppress it,” she stated, trying to calm him down.

  “Yeah, I might believe you if what happened last time didn’t happen,” he said, touching his chest, where a wound that nearly crippled him lay.

  “Nuhuang, you and my son are the most important things in my life. So if I see anything that puts either of you in danger, I will put my life on the line to stop it.”

  “I know my dear, I know. Let’s just hope we can keep this all under control until the time comes to test his destiny. Besides, how much can he grow in that amount of time, anyway?”
