Chapter 5: Demons

The corridor on the third floor was strangely quiet, as if a divine being had just passed through; the air was filled with bodiless souls, and the stench of blood could block the nose of anyone who inhaled it. 

A young man with jet-black hair, wearing a robe, and holding a sheathed sword could be seen opening one of the doors and peering inside the room like an uninvited guest. 

A young lady could be seen lying lifeless on the bed with blood on her shifted robe; she wasn't beautiful, but her lower half was exposed to the viewing of anyone unlucky.

'Wtf' 

Lin Feng was taken aback when he saw her, but he soon became suspicious. 

"This hall is for male disciples; what was she doing here?" 

Was she brought here by the zombie or did she come here on her own two feet? Lin Feng was stunned and speechless, everything from the pant he saw on the zombie's head felt strange. 

Lin Feng walked to the side of the bed, took the bloodied bed cover, and wrapped it around her body. He then scouted the room with his eyes for anything valuable, but he only found a few copper coins.

[After the Master discovered ten copper coins, the system operation "Savings interest" was activated.] 

Lin Feng noticed the notification and inquired about it. 

"What is its purpose?" 

[Savings interest: A copper coin can become a silver coin, and a silver coin can become a gold coin; all that is required is to save it in the system's auto bank, and interest will be added at certain rates. For example, ten copper coins will result in one extra copper coin at the end of a week.] 

"Very good." Lin Feng nodded, confident that he will have enough money to do whatever he wants when the time comes.

"All right, I'll save these." As soon as he said those words, white mist appeared over his hands and vanished along with the ten copper coins.

Lin Feng was happy and nodded his head, then he turned to leave the room, walked outside and went into the other rooms on the 15th floor, but he didn't find anyone inside, it was as if they had all turned into Zombies and left the 15th floor in search of food. 

Lin Feng placed his sword in a designated area on his back, which sped up his movement as he descended the stairs and entered the 14th floor.

There was only a slight stench on the fourteenth floor, and it appeared to be coming from the 15th floor.

Each floors has ten rooms, each for one student. 

This location was free of stench and zombie signs, but all of the doors were left open. 

Lin Feng held his sword ready for any adversary who might try to sneak attack him. He walked through each door and looked into the room, but there was nothing new. 

However, when he got to the last one, he noticed that it was still locked, so he decided to open it, but it was locked. When he discovered that it was locked, his heart told him to leave, but he didn't want to. 

"Was there anyone inside?" he inquired.

Then he decided to push the door open, so he placed one of his hands on it and used a little of his strength and internal energy to produce a powerful push that opened the door. 

"Get away from me, Demons!" 

He heard the voice of a young man running towards him, but the young man didn't recognize him and was rushing with a sword in his hands.
