Satvik was looking at his reflection in a thoroughly polished metal plate that was used in this world as a makeshift mirror.
He was quite satisfied with his physical build according to his age. He was neither too lean nor too buffed up. He stood at 148 cm at the age of 11 which was impressive.
He then notice his missing limb which re-ignited his hatred and reminded him of his pledge.
While noticing his muscle growth his gaze finally landed upon two marks on his body.
One was on his left chest peck and another on his right shoulder, both being a mark left by people one of whom had already claimed him as theirs.
He was certain about the plan of one while the other one's plan was still mysterious as of now.
Then he remembered Rias's kiss. It was his first kiss, the sensation was amazing. He could still feel the touch of her lips on his.
Although it was a quick one, it was more than enough to make him realize that the sensation was more euphoric than he had imagined.
While he was blankly looking in the mirror and touching his lips with his fingertips, Vani popped from behind and questioned, "What are those marks, Bhaiya?"
Satvik ruffled her hair and said, "One was left by an Apsara. The other one I got when I was bitten by a huge fish while fishing in the lake nearby."
"Was it the 'kark' you have told me about earlier?" she questioned with curiosity.
"Hehehe! it's 'SHARK' and no it wasn't a shark" he said while giggling at his sister.
"hmph!" Vani puffed her cheeks and gave him an annoyed look. She definitely doesn't like being corrected.
Satvik pulled her cheeks while asking, "Want to hear another story?"
Vani's mood perked up and she nodded while beaming with a smile and eyes filled with curiosity.
"Okay so today's story is about a Spirit Princess trapped by an evil mage and a knight in shining Armor," he said and started narrating his story.

Meanwhile on plains a few hundred miles away from the Doina City, there was a battle going on between two women with unparalleled strength.
A group of humans was rushing towards them.
Their whole body was covered in grey and white clothing without any pattern solely designed to hide their presence in the dark.
They stopped a mile away. They already knew if they went on any further, they'll be endangering their lives.
Their leader pulled out an artifact shaped like a spyglass and peeked through it.
Then he saw a white-haired woman fighting against a peafowl.
He already knew that the Peafowl was a demigod as per the report of his superior's encounter with the Peafowl.
They could not identify the other woman who was fighting a demigod on equal grounds. They watched the whole battle until they came to stop and started negotiating or at least that's what it seemed like.
Then the leader finally noticed that the white-haired woman had a few different colored streaks in her hair. Then another person came next to him and knelt on one knee before him.
"Sir, I have an urgent report. The spirit sovereign, she is missing from her captivity."
The leader of their group now realized who the other person was that was fighting the demigod toe to toe. If the spirit was released, all the plans his lord has in his mind will become futile.
He ordered one of his subordinates to rush back to the capital city of Baigarh and report it to their lord that the Spirit Sovereign has escaped. But before his subordinate could even start his long journey a cold phrase reached everyone's ears;
"But before that, we have some pest to take care of"
Everyone turned their heads and looked in the direction of the owner of the voice.
Hovering a couple of meters away from the group was a lady with an annoyed expression on her face.
She was none other than the demigod herself.
Then suddenly the spirit sovereign popped next to her in an instant and in an annoyed tone said, "Don't just disappear like that, I thought we were having some serious..."
The spirit Sovereign stopped mid-sentence and looked at the group. Then a sneer appeared on her face while looking down on the human group.
"Oh look at that, we have some little mice with us and especially from Baimum Theocracy," she said.
"We can't believe you call yourself spirit sovereign and didn't even notice their presence throughout our battle." sighed the demigoddess with disappointment.
"I was freed today after years of confinement. My senses are still all over the place and I'm still far from my peak strength. Please cut me some slack" said the Spirit while rolling her eyes.
"Fine, how can you be so sure that they are from Baimum Theocracy?" asked the demigoddess.
"I've seen rats dressed in the same way each and every day of my life since my confinement. They make sure I'm still chained." said the spirit and then continued.
"I can never forget the sexual harassment I've suffered at the hands of these swine and their smug and mocking expression," she said with her gaze burning with rage.
"Well, I wouldn't expect much from humans anyways. So what do you want to do with them?" questioned the demigoddess with a naughty smile.
"I would love to skin them alive. But as I got married today, I don't want to dirty my hands" said the spirit with a shrug.
The human group's paled expression eased a bit and they got their composure back. Nobody likes the idea of being skinned alive.
Then the demigoddess observed the group while whistling and said;
"Oo really?" the demigoddess has her side glance.

"Off course. You were the one who told me that I should always look my best for my husband, right?" said the spirit while beaming with innocence like a child.
"Yes! You are a quick learner" said the demigoddess while nodding and giving her a thumbs up.
"He he! So, how can I punish them in most gruesome way without getting my hands dirty?" questioned the spirit while raising her hand like her teacher.
The human group entered despair. They couldn't believe the fact that they were given false hope just to make their despair deeper.
"Sheesh! We can't believe you fooled them like that. Just look at their expression, it's like they want to protest against your behavior" said the demigoddess while giggling.
"Well that's just the tip of the iceberg of what I went through during all those years," said the spirit and opened her palm.
On her palm, there were seven small balls of different colors, they were similar in size to marble and were floating.
"So should we start?" the spirit said with a sneer.

"So we lost contact with the group of scouts that were looking over the spirit sovereign and the surrounding area?" said a man sitting on a throne.
"Yes Sire, it seems they were annihilated at once. Even the members that specialized in the concealed movement have not reported since past one week" said another person while kneeling before the man on the throne.
"Hmmm!" the person on the throne was in deep thought.
"This can't be just a coincidence, Nastik. Our scouts have never failed to send weekly reports regarding the spirit sovereign" said a woman standing next to the man on the throne.
"You might be right, Aneeta. For now, let's pretend that she escaped her captivity," said Nastik with a sigh.
"I wished she had joined us and our side. Lord Ashanti had gone far and beyond for those chains to ensure that she doesn't die in vain" he continued.
"Oh please! We all know that you were head over heels for her. Sometimes I can't believe why I'm still stuck with a manwhore like you" Aneeta said while shaking her head in disappointment.
"Because you love me deeply," he said while winking at her.
Veins popped on her forehead and then she shoved her elbow in his stomach.
"Ack!" groaned Nastik in pain while holding his stomach and falling down from the throne to his knees.
The subordinate while kneeling also shook his head in disappointment. It was a well-renowned fact that their Liege can be insensitive sometimes before his wives.
"Tch! So what are your plans now? I'm pretty sure that woman will be coming for vengeance" said Aneeta, with annoyance still written all over her face.
Spirit Sovereign was an existence that every sane being was afraid of throughout the world of Medini. Their rank was pseudo-god which lied somewhere between a demigod and a God.
"Well our Lord already had a hunch that this might happen. So he had already prepared contingency" as soon as Nastik said that he gently tapped his chest.
A small light came out of his chest and moved a bit far away from him. Then with a blinding flash, the ball of light transformed into a humanoid figure.
"Meet my wife Rashi, the new Spirit Sovereign," said Nastik with a gluttonous smile.
The blinding light receded and a woman around 175 centimetres tall stood with her head bowed before him.
Nastik then nodded and turned his gaze towards Aneeta who was glaring at him. Nastik quickly looked away.
"Ahem! So Rashi did you really ascend to the rank of Spirit Sovereign?" questioned Nastik after clearing his throat.
"Yes my lord, I had never thought that a mid-ranked spirit such as me would become a Spirit Sovereign someday," she said while beaming an excited smile.
Rashi had medium length black hair that was tied in a ponytail. She wore a pink colored floral dress that reached just below her knees. The dress the exact color of her skin and it was difficult to tell where her flesh ended and dress started. The tight dress accentuated her hourglass figure and ample bosom.
'No wonder Nastik was quite taken by this Spirit', though Aneeta while staring at the spirit with a piercing gaze.
"I made a promise to you, right? That you'll never regret contract with me back then" said Nastik with a gentle smile.
He had contracted an ice spirit back in his adventure days. They went through thick and thin and now both stood at the top, one was now a King while the other was a Sovereign of their respective races.
Rashi nodded with a slightly shy expression.
"So now we have our very own Spirit Sovereign, that old hag has lost her importance," said Nastik.
"We all know very well that you were never after that Sovereign for her rank rather it was her beauty. So stop acting like that" said Aneeta while glaring at him.
"What did you have for breakfast today? Why are you so annoyed today? Chill a little bit" said Nastik while rolling his eyes.
Aneeta puffed her cheeks and left the throne room.
While she was walking the halls of the castle her mind couldn't stop thinking about the last week's incident.
Although Nastik had ignored it already, Aneeta felt something was definitely wrong.
First, 11 years back someone with a strong connection to false gods came to this world.
Then Jayanti's encounter with that weird kid near some backwater town.
And then finally, the disappearance of Spirit Sovereign.
The commonality in these incidents was that they all happened near that city which had recently become quite popular.
Aneeta couldn't stop but think that this was all connected to that kid.
She has already taken some steps regarding that kid now all she could do was wait and hope that her worries were for nothing.
