"p...pl...ease k...i.ll m...me!" begged one of them but Satvik ignored his plea.

They kept on begging to kill them, even from their guild members and friends but in between, stood the incarnation of death itself.

The guild members gnashed their teeth in frustration after listening to the continuous plea of their friends, begging to be killed by them.

Until now they have been the ones who made others suffer and ensured to not mess with someone they can't handle.

This has been their guild policy, bite only what, one can chew.

Satvik dropped the sword and started to walk slowly, toward his remaining enemies.

"Release the spell whenever ready!!" shouted at a member while looking in the corner of the room.

There stood a mage, who was preparing a spell while he was hidden.

"Pyro Javelin!" shouted the mage at the top of his lungs.

Three fire spears made of mana instantly rushed toward Satvik.

Satvik waited and once the spears were only a few feet away, he performed a single-arm headstand and with momentum twirled his body with legs wide apart.

He imbued both of his legs with water and air elements combined and kicked the spear.

The spell met mana-enforced kicks and vaporized.

"He's using two elements at once" muttered the mage while looking with his eyes opened wide and jaws hanging low.

He had never seen anyone using two elements at once, was that even possible? He himself never had thought about it.

While several thoughts were running inside the mage's mind, a fist landed straight in his gut and came out from the other side.

The pain woke him up from his stupor before he fell asleep forever.

"F***!"

"F***!"

"What kind of bullsh*t is this?" muttered one person from the Clux guild members left.

"Where the f**k is the leader?" questioned another one in frustration.

"I b..ro..ught the le...aderrr" said a man while panting heavily from the other end of the room.

He was the same person who had run away to inform their leader.

"What the hell happened...." their leader stopped mid-sentence after witnessing the horrific scene.

Most of his Lackeys were dead, their base was now painted red with blood and for all this, only one person was responsible.

His gaze then landed upon Satvik and his eyes widened in shock.

He then held the person who had brought him here by his neck and asked while pointing at Satvik, "That is the same handicap from a few hours back?

"And he did all of this?" the leader was confused.

While rushing toward their leader Satvik used his most reliable and trusted skill that had evolved on the Leader.

[ THIRD EYE ( Active Skill-level 1) A mother's gift enforced by the will of the Goddess of knowledge. The user can detect and analyze things hidden by the normal eye. Can gauge the status of others within the same rank and below that of the user. Active usage costs 1 Mana per second ]

As soon as his third eye landed on the leader everything was revealed to him.

The leader's body was engulfed in a purple aura and

his stats were not visible, this only meant one thing he was at least in the second stage.

Even though Satvik had realized that his opponent was already in the second stage, it didn't matter now.

On this night and at that moment all he wanted to do was to burn the soul of his enemy and with this deep desire to fulfill, he met head-on with his enemy and the showdown began.

Anjana started swinging his sword while Satvik danced fluidly around his opponent.

He remembered what his teacher had taught him, "Remember to be fluid like water, it is gentle but one of the most powerful and destructive forces."

"It can cut through hard rocks because of its patience and persistence."

Satvik's priority shifted from attacking him head-on to waiting for each and every opportunity, no matter how small it was to strike back consistently.

He dodged and parried every sword swing by a hair margin by jumping and rolling.

Anjana was getting really frustrated from Satvik's continuous dodging.

He was already intoxicated from drinking and was enjoying the company of women, but now out of nowhere Satvik popped into his abode and ruined his night.

Satvik landed a few punches and kicks at his opponent, but due to some defence passive skill, Anjana was unfazed.

'He has some Armor skill or is it an artifact?' thought Satvik.

Every time his kicks or punches landed perfectly on Aajana's body, it felt unnatural and hard, compared to the average human body.

It felt as if he was throwing punches and kicks at an armored person.

Anjana noticed a tense expression on Satvik's face and thought that this was the best time to use mental attacks.

"hehehe, what happened? Can't even land a punch?" said Anjana while patting his chest with a sneer.

Then he continued, "You know what? That woman hit way harder than you."

"Why don't you send her to me instead? We could fight in bed for the whole night, round after round, hehehehe"

Anjana used his mana armament skill and suddenly his blade hue changed from cold silver to crimson red.

Throughout his life, Anjan had gained experience in fighting and gained one very crucial lesson.

In a fight rage and anger may provide power but it also blocks reasoning and other senses.

For now, his main aim was to aggravate Satvik into making mistakes while he is in a rage.

He kept verbally smiting Satvik in order to get him enraged and finally when Satvik would make a mistake, he'll go for the kill.

His red sword arcs were now moving inch by inch closer to Satvik's skin as the latter was making errors in a fit of rage.

Even though Anjana was drunk himself, his experience in fights and underhanded tricks, far surpassed Satvik's.

He used a feint to lure Satvik and made a reliable counter to deal damage.

Satvik's body was slowly but surely taking continuous damage in the form of small cuts and gashes and the injuries were surely piling up and taking a toll on his body.

"Oh wait I never told you my name, have I?"

"Or you might have already heard it when she was screaming my name while enjoying my meat," said Anjana while laughing manically.

Satvik's feet slipped on his own blood and Anjana used this perfect opportunity to swing his sword at Satvik's neck.

Satvik tried to deflect the strike but was only able to save his vital organ as Anjana's sword carved Satvik's torso diagonally.

Although the cut wasn't too deep to kill him, it was enough to hasten the bleeding.

But it didn't matter to Satvik. His last comments were really like rubbing salt in his wounds.

Satvik's expression turned ugly, and Kavita's last moments flashed before his eyes.

".....Sorry, I couldn't. fulfill our ....promise."

"Want me to tell you, what did it feel like to do with her?"

"I can't believe she was still a virgin. You're hopeless" said Anjana while creating a few feet of distance between him and Satvik.

Satvik's movement also stopped. He just stood there with a downcast gaze.

He remembered the last joyous months he had spent with Kavita, her smile, her puffed cheeks, her shy expression, then the final regret-filled smile she gave before she passed away.

"It doesn't matter" muttered Satvik in a hoarse voice.

A smile crept on Anjana's face. This was the first time Satvik had spoken something since their bout began.

Anjana was now assured that his mental attacks worked and now Satvik was completely under his trap.

Anjana smiled and questioned, "What doesn't matter?"

Satvik held onto his shirt or at least what was left of it and said, "Everything."

"Huh?" muttered Anjana in confusion. That wasn't the answer he was expecting.

Meanwhile, Satvik also had a flashback of his life so far.

Meeting with God's, his parent's sacrifice, Aisha, Dhruv's, and Vani's unconditional love.

His promise to Rias and Nisha.

His fanatic maids.

'I guess, I'll be breaking several promises at once' he thought to himself with a dry laugh.

Anjana looked at him and couldn't understand why he was laughing in such a situation.

Then there was only one reason he could think of so he asked Satvik in a mocking tone, "Have you finally lost it?"

Satvik didn't give any reply. He lifted his gaze and while looking at Anjana with pure hate, muttered in a hushed voice;

"Tandav~"

      { Skill locked due to lack of spiritual power}

Satvik ignored the notification and then mumbled,

"Tandav: Svāhā"

"Time to get serious," muttered Satvik.

Then right above each of his shoulder blades, arms made of white spiritual energy appeared.

His left stump was also replaced by a similar spiritual arm.

"What the f**k is that skill?" questioned Anjana with wide eyes.

In Satvik's rear right hand a Damru made of spiritual essence appeared while on his right palm there was a ball flame that was burning in a blue hue.

[A/N: Damru is an hourglass-shaped mini drum that can be played by shaking it. Google senpai will provide further assistance.]

Satvik started to move towards Anjana with slow steps while shaking his hand while holding on to damru.

"*Dum-da-da~*"

"*Dum-da-da~*"

As soon as Anjana heard the sound of the instrument, to him it felt like his body was getting heavier.

'What is happening ' he started to panic and opened his status.

           {All stats reduced by 40%}

"What? How" he muttered with surprise.

"Time for round two" muttered Satvik and rushed at him at full speed.

He appeared right before Anjana and with a perfect synchronized movement delivered a punch to his gut.

Then without stopping he turned 180 degrees and delivered a kick to Anjana's lower chin.

Then Satvik, with another 360-degree low kick made Anjana falter.

All this happened within 2 seconds and Anjana's brain couldn't even process what just happened.

His armor skill was also withering with Satvik's continuous assault, but this was just the beginning.

Anjana tried to use his sword strike skill and took a stance while raising his sword high to perform a vertical slash.

But, before he could even activate his skill Satvik moved close to him and moved his rear left next to Anjana's chest, and muttered, "Burn!"

Anjana's whole body was engulfed in blue flames.

"Aahhhhhhh!!!!" Anjana howls in pain for a second, but soon the fire quenched.

A sizzling sound was coming from Anjana's body, but suddenly a very negligible sound of glass shattering was heard.

Suddenly Anjana's expression became grim, he knew that his armor artifact was now gone.

"Haaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!"

Satvik then howled and rushed toward his opponent and delivered three consecutive kicks in succession to Anjana's left flank.

Anjana was sent flying towards the wall and due to impact the wall crumbled and he was sent flying out of his guild mansion.

Then Satvik came out through the crumbling wall and gripped Anjana's left arm and pulled it while rotating 180 degrees.

Anjana's arm was torn apart from below his shoulder and then another roundhouse kick sent him flying a few meters away.

"No wait, please! You don't have to do this" Anjana begged, while tears and snout ran down his face.

The sword was already dropped by him while he tried to stand up on his wobbly feet.

Satvik stopped and in a hushed voice laced with extreme pain and anger muttered, "I'm not the one who can forgive you."

"Please let me go, I'll ask for forgiveness from that woman, please have mercy," said Anjana.

His guild members who have been observing their fight from the start couldn't believe at the sight before them.

They have known that their leader was a very egoistic man and had never asked for anyone's expression but now his image was crumbling before their eyes.

"Sure go ahead and ask her for forgiveness" muttered Satvik.

"Thank y.." before Anjana could finish his sentence Satvik continued.

"In the Afterlife!"

Then Satvik hit him with a 180-degree kick followed by 360 degree, 720 degree kick.

Anjana's chest had caved in, his jaw was hanging loosely and his remaining arm was dangling.

Then Satvik performed a 1440-degree tornado kick while using a violent Air aura which turned Anjana's whole body into blood mist.

Satvik dropped to his knees while panting heavily, then with half-opened eyes, he threw the blue fireball towards the mansion from inside where the remaining members were looking at him in disbelief.

*Booooooooooooom~*

As soon as a blue fireball entered inside the mansion it exploded and engulfed the whole mansion blazing fire.

Satvik's transformation was undone while he could hear the painful cries of his remaining enemies in the background.

Red-colored tears started rolling down his cheeks again while he stared towards the moon while blood was oozing from his orifices.

Satvik ignored all the notifications. It didn't matter anymore.

Faces of people he has met in this life flashed in front of him.

His parents, sister, those maids, the jolly demigoddess, and finally his wife Rias.

He had promised to help her just the same way he had promised to protect Kavita.

A self-mocking laugh escaped his mouth while he thought, 'What a failure of a husband am I?'

His sight became hazy every breath he took was like an impossible task.

Then suddenly he felt the warmth of someone's embrace and a floral smell he was very well acquainted with, tingle his nose.

"Who did this?" questioned a sorrowful voice.

Although he was shutting off, he muttered one last phrase to his loved one, "Sor...ry, R...ia...s."

And as soon as those words left his lips everything turned dark
