Chapter 34: Dressed to Kill

[One Week Later]

I look at my outfit in the mirror. I chose to go with a more seductive look, wearing a loose, flowy red dress. I wore a very slight amount of makeup to highlight my eyes and put on some red lipstick. I have some golden bands on my arms, and a diamond necklace worth more than most noble homes. Jenna is currently brushing my hair while I stand in front of the mirror. I had Annie sit on the other side of the divider. I want to surprise her with how hot I look.

As she finishes with the last bit of hair, I wave Jenna off. She walks to the corner of the room and sits in an armchair. I speak in a teasing tone,

"Are you reaaaaaady?~"

I hear Annie say,

"Yes!"

I grab the edge of the divider and peek out from behind it. I look at Annie with a slight smirk and slowly walk out. I see Annie's face turn bright red as she sees the slightly revealing dress. She looks at my chest, and then to my exposed thigh. She speaks in a slightly panicked tone,

"W-w-w-what? What if your boobs fall out of the dress! A-and people could see your panties at the right angles!"

I chuckle at her and wiggle my body back and forth. The dress does shift, yes, but never enough to expose my breasts any more than they already are. Then, I say,

"Nobody will see my panties, either, so don't worry."

She sighs with relief, to which I grab the open leg of my dress and open it up,

"Because I'm not wearing any!"

And I reveal myself to her, showing that I am indeed going commando. Annie blushes again and says,

"NOOOOOOOO! That's not happening! You go put on some panties right now!"

I smile at her and chuckle before saying,

"Don't worry, the skirt has the same enchantment that the top does. Unless I explicitly show it, nothing will be seen."

I walk towards Annie and sit down on the couch beside her. Annie is wearing her usual white sundress and cardigan combo. I hold her hand and say,

"Are you sure you don't want to come with me?"

Annie sighs and shakes her head,

"I'm sure. I'm not cut out for high society. I wish you luck, dear. I hope the party goes well."

I smile at her and kiss her on the cheek before getting up and saying,

"I'll be back later tonight, baby. Don't worry, I'll be back in time to act as your body pillow."

Annie sticks her tongue out and says,

"Yeah, yeah, don't have too much fun now, you hear? I wanna be the first one to have your baby at least…"

The second half of that sentence was a bit quieter than the first half, obviously she didn't want me to hear that. I turn and face her,

"Don't worry, you'll most definitely be the first to have my children."

Annie's face goes beet red as I close the door behind me. I hear embarrassed noises coming from the room as I walk down the hall. Gosh, I love that girl.

I feel a pang in my heart as I think back to how I got together with her. I was just using her to test myself… God I'm fucked up. Well, at least now I'm treating her how she deserves.

Also, it seems that Annie already knows that I plan on being with multiple people, thanks to that little slip-up. That's good. I do mean it. I plan on getting Annie pregnant one day. Yes, it is in fact possible for two women to have babies together in this world. But, at least one has to be a grand mage, or sixth circle. You inject your mana into one of their eggs. This will create a being made with the mana of one mother, and the DNA of another. So the child will look much more like the birth mother, rather than the mage. These children are not fully human, and are known as Manites. They have an incredible amount of magic power from birth, and are able to grow far past the limits of a human. Manites can only be girls, because mana tends to bring out the feminine features of people.

There's also an aura equivalent known as an Aurite. Aurites can only be male, as Aura brings out the masculine features. Aurites are incredibly strong, able to completely decimate knights at the same level as them.

Currently, the only known Manite is the Queen of Telva. She's around 300 years old, and is a 6th circle mage. Of course, her power is more on the level of a 7th circle.

One distinct feature of Manites is that their ears are slightly bladed, similar to an elves, and their eyes glow blue like gems. Aurites have rounded ears like humans, and have green gem eyes.

As I sit in the carriage, I think over my time here so far.

I've reached the tenth circle, gotten revenge on the prince, and started the beginning of a business empire. My marketing in the noble district has paid off, as I bought this necklace with my own money, not the dukes. Aiwin has had quite the busy schedule. He sees nearly twenty customers a day, some of them being return customers. I may start giving out passes to the less-than-legal section where they can do a lot more to Aiwin.

I've gotten about thirty employees so far, so the clones have steadily begun "retiring" from the job, and turning into normal citizens. Getting rid of the clones entirely would draw too many eyes, so it's better for me to make them all slowly leave the city, and then disappear. Already the government has had their eye on my brothel. They've sent several inspectors that have searched ever single room for the slightest bit of illegal activity. One even tried to go so far as to frame me by planting drugs in one of the workers dorm. Of course, I then informed said inspector that I could, and would read his mind and show everyone he was lying should he actually go through with his plan.

But, none of them have found the secret basement, as the button to said basement doesn't exist. You have to have a rune carved into a bone on your body, and you have to whisper a code. The elevator will then go down several kilometers into the ground, where the illegal shit is.

Quite spy movie villain of me, I know.

With my thoughts coming to a close, I arrive at the party.
