Chapter 42: 28 – Divine Intervention

Experimentation was shorter than expected with the different weapons. Amara had tried them all, and concluded that for the moment, she would be using the weapons Morpheus had made and use the others to learn about enchanting.

When comparing the swords, they felt the same for the most part. Morpheus' weapons did seem lighter overall, but otherwise the only difference was appearance and the enchantments. And as Amara had a large pool of divine power, the choice became quite simple.

In the end, Amara chose to practise shooting with one of the rifles, namely by levitating some of the leftover paperbacks from the pile Ezme had brought her as targets. 

She also began practising with the halberd and sword in a similar manner.
