"She said her friends were in trouble. She'll be back." Ellie said to the others.
They were concerned at how she would run off, as they were also quite addicted to whatever time she was able to spend with them. Even as she went out through the last hole in the roof, they could feel her anger within their spaces. Since it was not directed at them, they felt no fear, but it did affect all her servants. Within their minds, she had started to look more and more like a god then a human.
A boom sounded within a few seconds as though the air burst when she started to run. Aila didn't create a sonic boom, as the sound barrier wasn't what was broken.
The stone on the ground exploded when she launched herself forward.

The Magistrate was in a panic. He rushed out of the meeting room and ran towards the gate at high speed. He felt the chaotic elemental essence rushing towards him, and knew that it was stronger then anything he's ever faced in his lifetime.
"Don't attempt to stop him." Ivadra said. "Our Master is on her way. She'll teach him a lesson." The guard bowed, and watched as his Mistress smirked. The Magistrate was a Core realm cultivator, but he was frightened of his Mistress, the Black One. That made him quite proud. Then he had a sudden thought.
"Mistress, your Master?" He said softly, then paled as he felt an overwhelming presence approach.
"Our Master is quite upset. The Magistrate better hope she's in a forgiving mood." Alara said from behind her sister.
The look within the eyes of the Seer also unnerved the Black Guards. It was a look of fanaticism, and absolute devotion.

The Magistrate opened his eyes. The last thing he remembered was an impact to his stomach, but he blacked out.
"Finally awake." He turned his head and saw the one that he wondered if he should eliminate. He also remembered her face filled with anger, and her eyes. He couldn't get the image of her eyes out of his mind. They reminded him of two red hot glowing coals, and not eyes at all. That was something well beyond anything he could do. His eyes could glow when he used his spiritual essence, but not like that.
"Where..."
"The forest." He turned over and looked around. "Our hosts should be here soon."
"Hosts?" He asked and slowly stood up. She pointed into the forest. Once he was able to focus, he saw what she pointed at.
"Stone bears." He whispered. It would take at least five Core realm cultivators to kill one stone bear as the ranks of spirit beasts were stronger then the realms of human cultivators. The next realm for him would have been Free Core, a state where the core of his cultivation could be freed from the foundation and allow him to gain even more power. A Free Core cultivator could easily kill five Core realm, just as a rank three spirit beast could easily kill five Core realm.
"Don't act so scared. I had only eaten my first metal core when I met the first stone bear I killed." She grinned. "They aren't all that powerful." She grinned wider. "For me."
A few seconds later, three stone bears erupted angrily into the clearing. He watched as she swatted each of them and knocked them over, or down onto the forest floor. When they were able to stand up, they eyed her angrily, but didn't rush in like before.
"Good. You have more intelligence then those stupid flame wolves." She pointed to the Magistrate. "I want you to teach him a lesson. Only one of you. Do not kill him. If you do..." She released her death element, and caused the bears to back away. She pulled it back in.
"Only one is needed. If you behave, I won't turn you into furs for my bed." She walked up and flooded the two she beat down with life elements. "I act in good faith."
Aila walked to the edge of the clearing so she could watch, and the Magistrate sighed. Now he knew he was a fool. He might be able to gather enough Core realm cultivators to kill one bear, but that would use up all their hard won spirit essence, and definitely delay any breakthroughs, or completely shut the door on advancement in their lifetime.

One of the stone bears she knocked over watched the Magistrate carefully. When he stood up and readied himself with all his strength, the bear lost its vigilance. This fight would be boring.
It was. With as much skill and strength as he could muster, the Magistrate attacked. The bear barely felt it. Not like when Aila hit him. Without using his claws, his paw swatted the Magistrate to the forest floor. The impact shook his insides like jelly, and stole his strength.
"Hm. So quickly, and not even a lethal attack." Aila stood up, and shook her head. "If this is all the strength you have, even at your realm, you better not enter the forest in the future. Dark panthers are migrating here, as well as water pythons, alpha flame wolves, and a few more fearsome creatures." She looked at the bears.
"Wait here for a moment. Don't leave, and don't kill him."
A few minutes later, they heard the squeal of a pig as it took major damage. A few seconds after that, the pig flew into the clearing and hit a tree, side on.
"There." Aila said as she came back into the clearing. She thrust her hand through the side of the boar, pulled out its heart, and the core. She swallowed it in front of the bears, and the Magistrate.
"Here is your reward for obedience." She said to the bears. She walked up to the one who swatted the Magistrate, and put the heart in its open and eager mouth. "You can take the boar for your family. Be cautious of going near the river. The dark panthers are on the other side, but seem to be coming this way. You can move between me and the town." She pet the big guy's head.
"But don't touch my people. There are stupid wolves all around, so there should be enough for you to eat." She turned to the Magistrate and sighed. "If any humans enter your territory, and don't have my mark, you have my permission." She pet the big bear's head again, and walked over to the Magistrate.
"Tread carefully, Magistrate. I will not tolerate anyone who touches my people."

"Master." Alara looked at Aila as she came back, while Ivadra was behind her, her hands on her sister's shoulders.
"Your home is here, even if I want you near." She sighed a little. "Since it seems that I can hear you when you call, make sure you call when you need me." She patted Alara's head gently, and followed up by patting Ivadra's head.
"Alara." She said softly. The woman blushed a bit. "Eat this." She held a harpy core in her hand. Alara blushed, but did not hesitate. With Aila's hand on her chest, she felt the core enter her space. 'There. Right where it belongs.'
"Master." Alara whispered.
"Ivadra, I will need to get a dark panther core for you." The Black One sucked in her breath.
"Master, I don't want you to get hurt!" She watched Aila smile, and lift up her hand. On her palm was a black core.
"I can never tease you. You take me too seriously." Ivadra pouted.
"So mean, Master." It became so natural to call Aila their Master, just like her slaves, that Aila didn't protest. Mostly as she was used to the title, and for some reason, it felt like it fit. Her hand went onto Ivadra's chest as soon as she swallowed the core.
'Mm, I like being in here.' Ivadra blushed as she felt her Master enter her consciousness. It happened on instinct, and though Aila was aware she was within their elemental space, she was not aware that others could not do the same.
After Aila left for home, the sisters returned to their hall, and Alara stayed outside to cultivate. It was said that after the visit of the one they called 'Master', the main pillars of Underground Black became even more powerful, and feared.
They were easily early Core level cultivators before she met them, but afterward, they were late Core realm, or greater. The Seer seemed to radiate light, while the Black One's element suppressed all light within the sphere of her body's range.
The kingdom was vigilant and fearful of Underground Black before, not only due to the Lich below, but also due to their foundation realm forces, and high level of coordination.
Now, they were terrified.
