"So you know this girl?" The man laughed.
Lance slowly turned red realizing his face was finally shown. Lance slowly turned red realizing his face was finally shown to his friend. She happily jumped on Lance 's back and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tighter than before. She looked up to see Lance smiling down at her.
"No way." Her eyes widened in shock. "...But how do you know where I lived?"
The boy felt a pang of guilt in the pit of his stomach, he didn't think this far ahead when talking to Suri.
"This man is an interviewer and would like to speak to your Mother." Lance answered.
A few minutes of silence followed by a loud, yet quiet groan and a heavy sigh later Suri nodded in agreement when the man blocked the doorway smiling at the girl. She was frightened backing up against the porch gate.
When they moved forward Lance took a hold of her hand gently, leading her towards the door. Suri kept close watching everyone around her. She had no idea why she decided to come here; she could just stay with Lance.
As they were nearing the door someone else appeared in front of them blocking their view. He had a huge smile spreading across his face and his eyes were shining in excitement.
A large white dog waddled in front of Suri's legs and tried to jump at Lance knocking him down. Suri shrieked jumping out of the way and falling into one of the bushes. The man was about to go away until Lance pushed him back down, telling him it was okay.
"Whose dog are you?" Suri laughed.
Its fangs bit into her flesh dragging her to the ground as she cried outLance pulled the dog off but it quickly snapped at him again causing him to fall back. She watched helplessly as the dog attacked him. It wasn't long until Lance collapsed, blood pouring from his mouth. Suri screamed trying to run to his side only for the dog to growl at her making her freeze.
"Sorry, Lance, but I needed to test something." He roared.
The dog lunged for Suri, it's jaw opening wide, preparing to tear her apart. With a scream that echoed through. Lance got up to shield Suri from the beast who backed away confused by its sudden disappearance.
Suddenly the man ran over to Lance helping him up. Suri could hear the men yelling and the sound of another dog barking. They became surrounded by men in black holding guns at the two.
There was a loud crash coming from behind her which caused her to jump. One of the men grabbed Suri throwing her over his shoulder and walking away without even glancing in the direction from where the noise had come from.
"We have what we want, thanks Lance." The man winked.
Before Suri could react the man had thrown her onto the black van that had pulled up. Lance hopped to action angrily at the man calling his name but the door was already slamming shut leaving the boys outside.

"What the hell are you doing to Suri?!" Lance shouted.
"If she doesn't give us we want then we will kill her obviously." He sighed. "We're gonna be going to different places so there won't be any complications."
Suri let out a small cry of pain as the van sped along. She glanced around desperately looking for something, anyone to help her before someone pulled her back in.
Lance threw an angry punch at the man who ducked and punched Lance right back knocking him to the ground. The boy invoked the bloody sword into existence after getting kicked by the man.
Gawking up he noticed a large creature standing above him with wings and sharp teeth. He knew the creature could easily kill Lance, he had to stop these people now! He charged at the men, swinging the sword repeatedly with no success. They dodged each swing with ease while kicking the child. A gunshot rang out causing them to turn and the monster to drop the sword.
"I am sure your old man wouldn't mind if I taught you a lesson!" He stated.
Taking his hand he slammed into Lances stomach forcing the boy to vomit blood. Lance stumbled back, coughing up more blood. The man chuckled darkly.
"You are still so weak."
Lance stood up once more and slashed at him, the man barely dodged causing Lance to crash into the wall. He swung the sword again at the man who was dodging every time, the sword only made a dull sound each time it hit the man.
"Your skills are atrocious, I suppose you'll never amount to much." He laughed.
Suddenly he grabbed Lance around the throat and pulled him closer. "Maybe one day I'LL make YOU into an adult."
With that he squeezed harder pressing his thumb against the child's windpipe. Lance’s vision began to blur. He couldn't breathe, he couldn't breathe, he couldn't breath, he couldn't breathe. he tried kicking and clawing at the man trying to loosen the grip on his throat. Tears started filling his eyes and spilling down his cheeks.
"Stop! Stop it!" Lance struggled, he could feel the pressure in his windpipe worsening. His eyes widened as the man began pushing his thumbs down harder. He was starting to lose consciousness and his vision was fading. He could feel himself slipping, he was so tired.
His eyes glowed red, his aura a bloody rage in him as his blood swirled his being crushing the man beneath him. He heard someone screaming but his world stopped spinning.
"No! No! Please! No!" Lance shook his head as tears poured down his face. He wanted to wake up, he didn't want to die like this.
[Calm down, Lance]
The calm voice spoke inside his head. The soothing sound sent him reeling back into reality as he breathed heavily. He looked down at the man beneath him, gasping for air like an asthmatic. Lance dropped the sword and fell to the floor unconscious.
