Saibus, an 18-year-old murderer, has just arrived in Novigrad and lives in one of the lounges run by the murderers. These places are little known except that it is rare to come across a non-member of the League. Moreover, in the early morning, there is no large clientele in the lounge.
Saibus sits at the counter after greeting the few other assassins present. He sits alone as the bartender comes to take his order.
"So, what do you want to drink?" Asks the bartender.
"I'm going to have a glass of Fiorano and another of Everluce with a hint of lemon juice," Saibus answers the bartender.
The latter nods and turns to get the wine. While the bartender goes to fetch the wine, Saibus looks inside the lounge because it is the first time he has visited such an establishment. The cabaret is divided into three parts. The first is the bar part which is closest to the entrance. The second is the catering section, where many tables and chairs are arranged. Finally comes the show part with the stage where plays, songs, and a few tables are played to enjoy the show.
The interior is also made so that the noise of each part does not interfere with the other two sections. The lighting is done by many chandeliers providing enough light to see well and is not too bright.
"Boom," Saibus's inspection was interrupted by the sound of the door opening violently. This noise attracts not only Saibus but all the assassins there. Their eyes are fixed on a person who wears a long black coat that hides his clothes and his figure and a hood that does not show his face.
All the assassins were warned when they saw a hooded person enter a location kept secret from non-League people.
The bartender, who has just returned with the wine, puts it on the table and approaches the intruder.
"Can I do something for you?" Questions the bartender with a cold voice that shows no feelings.
"Yes, I have a meeting with an assassin named Saibus. Can I stop by where I have to bring him here to chat?" So declares the person without reacting to the bartender's coldness.
When the person says they have a date with Saibus, the assassins present will calm down and resume their amusements.
"He's at the bar. Follow me." Simply said, the bartender was without his previous coldness. The person follows the bartender to Saibus. She arrives in front of the latter.
"It's been a long time, Saibus. I missed you," the person declares with a slightly emotional voice.
Saibus, standing, takes the person in his arms.
"I missed you too, Yen."

In the room Saibus had taken, Yennefer and he talked for several hours lying on the bed.
"I didn't know you participated in defense of the Wolf School. Why didn't you tell me?" Yen asks with a slightly worried voice.
"For the simple reason that there was not much to say, I only killed inexperienced or idiot peasants and soldiers. The biggest threats were taken by Trinity, Leonidas, or Rennes, so there was nothing to worry about. " Saibus answers quietly.
Yen does not say anything to Saibus about this because it has already happened.
"Now that you know everything I did in school and after, what if we go somewhere?" Yennefer asks.
"Why not? I have nothing to do until next week when I go to Brokilon Forest," Saibus said.
Yennefer gets up from Saibus's arm, which she uses as a pillow, and looks at him curiously.
"Brokilon Forest, where the dryads live and are guarded by the elves."
Saibus nods.
"The queen of the dryads, Eithne, wants to make a pact with the assassins. The Council asked me to go there and make the pact. The good thing is that I just have to take the deal and take him to the Council. "
"I can go with you to the forest. I have some advice to ask the dryads about the magic of nature," Yen asks.
Saibus looks at Yennefer with a raised eyebrow.
"You don't specialize in storm magic, so wind and lightning. Besides, it's not for me to decide, but in the Council, it's a diplomatic mission."
"I practice many forms of magic. I just like lightning and wind more, that's all."
The two lovers chat for a few more minutes before leaving the lounge.
Saibus notices it is around noon, meaning they have talked for five hours.
"So where are we going?" Yennefer declares, which makes Saibus return to her.
Now that he can see her correctly, Saibus finds Yennefer sublime. Her locks of curly, raven black hair were scented with the scent of lilac and currant, falling in a cascade of curls over her shapely shoulders. Her face was ashen, triangular in shape, with a slightly recessed chin. His eyes were cold and sparkling with a remarkably penetrating purple gaze, in blazing anger of livid blue-gray fire. Yet, those very eyes also hid wisdom and urgency. Yennefer's nose was slightly extended. The mouth was pale with thin, somewhat twisted lips, soft lipstick, and proud lips. From his long, slender neck hung a black marigold with a sparkling obsidian star with many small diamonds encrusted in it that Saibus had given him. Yen also had pronounced cheekbones, natural, slightly jagged, hand-trimmed eyebrows highlighted with charcoal, long eyelashes, and tiny hands. Even with high-heeled shoes, she was not tall, was beautiful but menacing, and had a skinny and slender waist and legs.
Her clothes accentuate her beauty. She is wearing black leather pants with a white stitch line. On top of that, she puts on a long pair of heeled leather boots. To hide her chest, she wears a buttoned white shirt with a black jacket closed with a series of buttons. His coat has a black fur neck. At her waist, she tied a brown leather belt. Finally, she put a pair of black gloves on her hands with a turn of the same fur as her jacket.

Yennefer notices the look Saibus gives him, which makes his heart beat faster. She put on her clothes on purpose for him to have such a reaction.
Saibus resumed his natural air and answered.
"I know a place you should love. We can do whatever we want because very few know it."
"Alright, I follow you." Confirms Yen.
The two then took the road outside Novigrad via the Quayside gate.
Out of town, Saibus takes Yennefer to the surrounding hamlet. They go through tiny paths and arrive at the edge of the forest.
"You're leading me into the woods on our first date. Aren't you a little weird? Tell me if you've developed any dark tendencies, right?" Yennefer asks with a mocking smile.
Saibus looks at Yennefer without saying anything. He then moves his vision away from her and enters the woods under a musical laugh of his love.
Saibus and Yennefer walk in the forest for ten minutes. Silent Saibus hears Yennefer complaining or making fun of him a bit without flinching because he's used to it, given that she was already like that when they played in the forest a decade ago.
After ten minutes or so, they arrive at a particular place. In front of them, in the middle of the trees, a tiny clearing of a few square meters contains in its center three rocks.
These rocks form a triangle with a hole in the center that leaves a view of the dark void.
"You're right. This place is quite pretty, lost, and lonely— the perfect place for a date. ennefer declares as he admires the tiny clearing surrounded by magnificent trees.
"We haven't arrived yet." Finally, Saibus declares what makes Yennefer stand out from the landscape.
"What do you mean we haven't arrived?"
Saibus takes Yennefer in his arms and leads him towards the rocks.
She looks at the hole and then turns her head towards Saibus.
"Do you want us to jump in this hole?" She asks with one of those beautiful eyebrows raised.
"You trust me ?" Saibus answers with a smile on his lips.
"Yes, I te-aaaaahhhhhh" Yennefer barely said yes when Saibus interrupted him by jumping and dragging him with him.
The fall only lasted a few seconds before they fell into the water.
Yennefer raises his head from the water and takes a deep breath. He then turns to Saibus, who looks at her with amusement.
"Laeke," a line of water shoots up and crashes into the face of Saibus, who is not at all shaken. ennefer then looks away and swims quickly to a small island of land that she had noticed. He climbs onto the wet islet. Bove it, she sees a large dark blue towel with a wicker basket covered with a small red sheet.
"You could have warned me. would have done it smoothly without us getting soaked." She said to Saibus, who joined her.
"I know, but it would have been less fun." He finishes his sentence by mumbling and creating a flame that swirls around them. His love rotates three times and then goes out. ennefer sees the vortex of flame evaporate into the air and no longer feels the water on his clothes and body.
"Thank you." She lets go gently.
"Now sit back and relax," Saibus said.
Yennefer complies. He sits on the towel next to Saibus, who takes her hand in his.
"Finally, look ahead," Saibus says as fireflies fly up to the cave ceiling, revealing a vast cave filled with crystals and luminous stones.
The dazzling view takes your breath away in Yennefer.
She stays there, amazed by the spectacle offered to her by the fireflies and Saibus, who uses his magic to make a play of light with the water.
The spectacle lasted twenty habits. Hose twenty were twenty minutes of pure happiness for Yennefer and Saibus.
Saibus then looks at Yennefer to see a black blur and feel his lips touch his. he two lovers felt immense heat and got lost in this kiss.
