Chapter 7: First Fight

When I got to the place of the screaming, I saw a little girl my age crying on top of a tree. Below she was a giant bear roaring in anger. This bear must have been the one who left the traces on the path. The bear was three meters tall, with brown fur. It had powerful limbs and sharp claws.

I shouldn't survive if I get hit by one of his attacks. But what can I do? I can't leave it there, but I'm no match for it with my current body.

Stupid, I'm silly. I am the number one assassin on Earth. I am Ghost. I have always lived in the shadows. They are my best friends, and that is for everyone.

While the bear was growling, I picked up two heavy stones to make noise.

I was surprised not to have noticed it sooner. I can't throw knives at him so quickly now that he's on guard. I had an idea, but it was highly suicidal. But instead of being afraid, a feeling of excitement was rising in me. In making my decision, I took out my two short swords on my hips. I ran towards him, limiting the sound of my footsteps as any murderer would. I jumped up and sliced ​​my sword at his head, but he turned and pushed me away. I dodge him, but being too close to him, he makes me fly up a tree with his imposing body. I am hurt by the force of the projection and the shock.

Damn, I think I broke a rib or two. The bear seeing me hurt, charges me with its mouth wide open to bite me. He's coming too fast for me to dodge, but I manage to block his mouth with one of my swords. Although, it hurts and stops him for a while. I take the opportunity to take my last sword and shove it in his mouth while stabbing his brain.

The bear fell heavily to the lifeless ground. I sat down correctly so that my ribs didn't hurt too much while breathing so much.

When the bear falls to the ground on the ground, and the boy sits down to rest, I come down from the tree and approach to help him.

He looked at me for a few seconds and answered me
