Chapter 30: CHAPTER 30

Blake and I started walking around town. At one point, Blake noticed a group of suspicious middle-aged men.

"Aren't these guys taking pictures of the girls?" Blake asked.

It was a group of four middle-aged men, and some of them were using cameras. The problem is, they can say they're taking pictures of the city.

However, the cameras aimed at the girls, so it's suspicious.

"Are we going to keep an eye on them?"

"It's a good idea."

I'm not a security guard hired to protect students, but I can't stand by in a situation like this.

We had nothing to do, so we spent the rest of the afternoon keeping an eye on the four men.

We went to various locations chasing them.

Nine o `clock pm.

After a long day, Blake said.

"Looks like they won't do anything."

"..."

"I'm going back to the hotel. How about you?"

"I'm going to a convenience store, there's something I want to buy, and it's very likely I don't have it at the hotel."

"Want me to go with you?"

"Do not come back."

"Fine. I'm going to take a nice shower now."

Blake began humming his way back to the hotel. I don't need to buy anything, but I told this lie because there's something I want to confirm.

From the shadows, I began to observe a woman.

With light steps, I started walking behind her. As fate would have it, she ended up walking into a convenience store.

I walked into the store and went to a magazine shoot, turned my back, so she wouldn't notice me.

The woman I was following was Bella, my literature teacher. The reason she came to this store was to buy tampons, she probably forgot.

She must have gone to shower and realized she forgot. Luckily, I saw her leaving the hotel and decided to follow her just in case.

A short time later, two of the four middle-aged men Blake and I were following entered the store.

Bella finished paying for her purchase and left the store. After she left, one of the men texted someone on his cell phone and then left the store with the other.

I put the magazine away and went after them. From the store to the hotel is a straight street, there is no detour. Looking, I don't see any trace of Bella, but I do see the two men ahead.

"Hey, you two." I called them.

Both men turned at the same time and faced me.

"Earlier I noticed that your group was taking some pictures. May I see?"

"I don't know what you're talking about, boy."

"It's true, we didn't take any pictures."

"Really? So the camera around your neck is an ornament?"

"No, we're using it to record travel memories."

"Yes, we are on a trip between friends."

"Didn't you just say you didn't take pictures?"

"..."

"You don't mind if I look at the pictures, do you? I'd like to keep memories too, but I didn't bring a camera."

"Don't you have a cell phone?"

"Is broken."

"Look boy."

One of the middle-aged men put his hand on my shoulder and applied force, squeezing. The calm atmosphere from before was replaced by an intimidating one.

"We're not going to borrow the camera."

I push the man's hand away, then knee him in the stomach. The man's face contorts in pain, and he falls.

The other, surprised by my sudden movement, comes towards me.

"You brat."

He tries to punch me in the face, but I dodge and kick him in the side, causing him to fall. Wasting no time, I climb on top of him and fire a hail of punches in his face, causing multiple bruises.

One of the punches makes the man's nose break, and he passes out.

I stand up and look at the other man.

To top it off, I kick him in the jaw when he tries to get up. With both men passed out, I pick up the camera that was slung around one of them's neck.

I notice that the people around me have focused their attention on me. So, I start walking.

I turn on the camera and confirm my suspicions. When Blake and I were following them earlier, I noticed something. Everywhere they went, Bella was present.

After I turned on the camera, I started to see the last pictures taken, and they were of Bella.

I slung the camera around my neck and ran around the corner. If these guys are going to do anything with her, it's going to be in a secluded spot.

The more I walk, the darker and tighter the streets become. After running a few meters, I see a shopping bag lying on the floor.

Inside the bag was the tampon Bella had bought.

"Aaaah..... hel..... Help."

Suddenly, I hear a female voice. I was pretty sure it was Bella. I accelerated my run, until I passed a dimly lit alley, I stopped because I saw a figure inside the alley.

As I enter the alley, I come across, behind some garbage cans, the other two men and a woman. One of the men was holding the woman from behind, while the other was removing the woman's clothing.

The woman was my literature teacher, her eyes were full of tears and her face was completely terrified.

"Jay???... Run away."

Even trembling with fear, Bella recognized me. Instead of asking for help, she worried about me, an admirable attitude.

"Let her go." I said in a cold tone.

Unlike the other two I took down, these two seem to be strong. They planned everything. The weak would watch Bella's movements, when she was alone the strong would capture her.

They had waited all afternoon for an opportunity. And Bella gave them the perfect opportunity by deciding to go to the grocery store to buy tampons.

She's too brave to go out alone in a city she doesn't know.

"And what are you going to do, boy?" one of the men said, smiling.

In a corner, I put the camera, I don't want it to break because there's evidence.

"Does the boy think he's a man? After I beat you, we're going to rape that bitch in front of you."

Bella's eyes lose color and her body shakes.

"Now that I think about it. This camera..."

"So, have you noticed?"

"What did you do?"

"The same thing I'm going to do to you two."

"Hahahaha, you're funny boy."

One of the middle aged men quickly closed the distance and fired a punch in my direction. I raised both arms and defended.

However, I felt my arm shake. I was going to fight back, but before I could do anything, I felt a strong impact on my face.

The other man hit me in my blind spot, causing me to fall.

I quickly got up. The two men looked at me in surprise.

"You have good stamina boy."

I spit blood and wipe the corner of my mouth. I analyzed both, one is big and has power and the other is thin and fast.

Despite being middle-aged men, they are strong. I looked at Bella who was behind them, she was lying on the floor with a pale face.

I'm a trouble magnet.

"Let's get this over with soon."
