The thing that caught his eyes was a black crystal poking out of the ashes of the Black Spirit Rat. He went up to it and picked it up from the ashes. It was solid, but as he pressed his fingers on it, he felt like he was touching a black cloud. A pleased smile appeared on his face as he realized it was a dark-type spirit core.

"Young master, you might be thinking what it is, right? Let me explain it to you." Leader Ye thought that Xie Yang didn't know about spirit cores, so he started explaining it to him. "Evil spirits and good spirits; both have spirit cores in their bodies. It's the source of their power. Upon their death, one can take their core for themselves. A person can get low-quality spirit cores from Grade-5 to Grade-3 spirits. Grade-2 to grade-1 spirits possess medium-sized ones, and you can get them after hunting them down. Grade-0 has high-quality ones in their flesh. And special-grade spirits have supreme quality spirit cores. The higher the quality of the spirit cores, the more valuable it is. Why? The elemental essence in a spirit core becomes denser as its quality increases; that is why. Spirit cores have many uses, too. A cultivator can use it to refine talisman or cast elemental techniques. Also, cultivators in the second realm can use it as a tonic to advance their cultivation or bring a qualitative change in their spiritual energy. Young Master, the thing in your hand is a low-quality spirit core full of dark elemental essence. For cultivators in the second realm, it is precious, and many people would pay an astronomical amount to purchase it."

Xie Yang stored the Dark-type spirit core in his spatial pouch. He couldn't use it for now, but once he reaches the second realm, it will become useful to him.

There were many inter-spatial rings, pouches, and other valuable stuff here and there. Even though the attack of the Princess of Rose had turned all her targets into dust, not a single piece of treasure was damaged.

Leader Ye waved his hand, and the next moment, the ashes scattered to the sides of the main hall, and all the inter-spatial rings, magic pouches, weapons, and other stuff lifted from the ground and floated toward Xie Yang.

He put his sword back in the scabbard tied to his side and stored the rest of them in his magic pouch.

Right after a moment, Princess of Rose returned to the main hall. She brought another with her. It was floating beside her. A closer look was all it took for Xie Yang to realize that it was Merchant Jin's corpse.

She lifted her finger and brought it down, and then the corpse flew towards them, landing beside their feet.

There was a pouch attached to the corpse. It belonged to Merchant Jin and contained a lot of wealth inside it.

"I've completed my part of the deal, so let me ask you, when are you going to honor your words?" She said after coming close to Leader Ye and placing her hands on his chest.

Xie Yang looked at the two of them, thinking that they were shameless lovebirds who didn't mind flirting in front of another.

Leader Ye did mind, but as he didn't have any control over his spirit, he couldn't stop her from doing what she wanted to do.

"Tonight, I will take you out for a ride." Leader Ye replied to the beautiful vixen.

"How can I believe you when you said the exact same line last time but didn't use me as your carriage?!" Princess of Rose said shamelessly.

"I'm a man of my words, so I will, of course, take you out on a drive tonight." Leader Ye defended himself while standing upright with a back straight.

While saying that, he sneakily imagined the keywords to undo the summoning in his mind.

Poof!

Princess of Rose wanted to say something, but before she could say a thing, she vanished into a puff of smoke, disappeared from the sight of Leader Ye and Xie Yang.

Xie Yang winked at Leader Ye, and with a teasing smile on his face, he said, "Brother, such a beautiful girl is crushing on you; why don't you accept her advances?"

Leader Ye's face turned even colder than before, but his ears that turned red because of his words showed Xie Yang that he was feeling shy and embarrassed.
