Chapter 13: Chapter 12 – Iron Blood’s Conspiracy

"We got a news from Commander Noir." 

"Really? Tell me what is it." 

We're in the communication room right now, after i got a message from Helena that Noir replied to the message i sent, i immediately rushed to the room.

"The Commander, has finished his mission and soon he will be back in like 4 days, he also said that to prepare for the worst upcoming future."

Prepare for the future he said, is this related to the Iron Blood stuff?

"When he told you that, do you think something must have happened on his mission?" 

"I also thought like that, it might be the Iron Blood that was plotting for something."

'Iron Blood and Sakura Empire separation from the Azur Lane? No wait, in the first place will Sakura Empire also join them? Wasn't Akagi... No... She's indeed a cunning person, she might also putting an act in front of others. If the Sakura Empire is the one who persuade the Iron Blood to take initiate, then this will be a troubling conflict, a life and death situation.'

"We will wait until further news or after Commander Noir arrived to the base."

"Got it, then i will go back to my job." Helena turned her chair back to the monitor.

I closed the door and went to Akashi's place to see what she's up to.

"Hello Akashi, are yo-  WOAH!!"

A scrap metal flung at high speed almost scratched my cheeks, scaring the living shit out of me and made me fall. 

"Who's there nya~"

"It's me..." 

"Oh, Sorry about that."

Akashi helped me getting up with her small hand and with a robotic arm that attached to her back.

"What's that?" I pointed out something behind her, a huge machine that size as big as a car and it glows yellow. 

" That nya~? That is my tech to produce a biological entity." 

"So, what entity is it?" 

"A ducklings? We experimented for something that is intellectual but also small, they're still in a testing phase nya~. Also if you're wondering about if i am insane for experimenting on a biologic animal, they were created artificial nya~" 

'a Manjuu?'

"Does it have a name?" 

"Not yet nya~" 

"Then let's name it Manjuu."

"Manjuu? That sound like a nice name for them nya~" 

"That's decided then." 

We talk about various things about what could we do with the manjuus until afternoon. 

"Thanks for the time Akashi, it was a fun topic to discuss."

"Me too, get going now or your ship will be mad nya~" 

"Ah, i forgot about Volga."

She said she want to do something in the morning, because of that we parted away and i rushed to the communication room. That's why i am alone today.

"I'll go see her then, take care."

I got back into my room to see if Volga is back or not. 

"Volga?"

'No answer. I guess i will rest here for a moment.'

A knock came from the door, i guess it was Volga? 

"Coming..." 

I opened the door and saw Volga who look beat up.

"Volga, did you had a fight?"

"Yes Commander. Enterprise is teaching me how to make use of the plane that i use, she become my training partner and mentor."

"You're improving yourself?"

"Yes, thinking what happened back then, we almost got killed when the Siren surrounded us and that's why i need a fellow KANSEN to help me out to improve myself, i will be the best carrier that you constructed, Commander."

"That's a great determination, you will sure going to become the best carrier." I patted Volga's head.

Volga cheeks were dyed red. 

"Clean yourself in the bathroom, we'll have a lunch later." 

"Sure!" 

Volga got in and goes to the bathroom, i sat on the chair waiting for her until someone ring the bell outside of my room.

"Who is it?" 

I opened the door and see the Queen herself with Warspite standing in front of my door. 

"Commander Greynar i assume?" 

"Ye-yes?"

'Why is Elizabeth is here? And why did she personally come to my room?'

"We need to talk about the Iron Blood matters." 

"Give us around 5 minutes to prepare." 

"We'll wait at the main entrance, Warspite lets go." 

"Hah! Your Majesty."

Queen Elizabeth and Warspite left the dorm.

I sighed, the Iron Blood is gaining power by an unknown ways. A conspiracy by the Iron Blood or the Siren?
