The man shouted, “Woman, we can’t stay here any longer!”
He watched as the Blood Pupil emitted red light once again.
The temperature in the entire valley has risen to a maximum, and the lava had already reached the shore. If they didn’t leave now, they would surely be burned to death.
As Mu Yao absorbed all the energy around her, her eyes shot open.
All of a sudden, the image of the flying dragon on the sword’s handle flashed with light.
Now, Mu Yao felt full of energy and the pain in her body was gone. Even her injuries had miraculously recovered.
The next moment, Mu Yao looked up at the Blood Pupil, who was still grinning wickedly. The Blood Pupil let out a shriek. “You ungrateful little girl, go and die!”
It then shot an even more powerful blood-red beam shot out from its eyes.
As the lava flowed toward the man’s feet, he immediately jumped onto the wooden plank to avoid being splashed by the lava. He shouted, “Woman! Dodge!”
Mu Yao quickly grabbed the handle of her sword with her other hand and waved her hands vigorously. Then, she dragged the silver sword into the air and leaped toward the Blood Pupil.
Objectively speaking, it wasn’t Mu Yao who had charged forward with her silver sword.Instead, it was the silver sword leading Mu Yao on.
She replied coldly, “Die? It’s hard to say who will die!”
The Blood Pupil was stunned for a moment before shouting, “That’s impossible! How can you dodge my light and resist such pressure? You are just an ordinary woman who drew aura into her body! How is this possible?”
Mu Yao took advantage of the momentum and dodged the blood-red beams of the Blood Pupil. At the very last moment, she jumped and raised her silver sword with both hands.
The Blood Pupil immediately turned to the side. “Do you really think you would be able to stab me? You’ve made me really angry, little girl.”
Then, the entire valley began to shake violently.
The man on the wooden plank released his resistance and stabilized his body.
Meanwhile, Mu Yao was still flying toward the Blood Pupil, who dodged once again.
Mu Yao hopped onto the cliff wall before jumping to the other side. Using this momentum, she leaped yet again.
The Blood Eye threw his head back and cackled. “You overestimate yourself!”
Even the man was on tenterhooks seeing her behave so recklessly. “Be careful, woman!”
Mu Yao glanced at the man casually and smiled. “Don’t worry.”
This time, Mu Yao didn’t move toward the Blood Pupil. Instead, she changed her angle of attack mid-air and headed toward the eyes of the Bodhisattva statue.
The Blood Pupil was stunned. “You! You! What are you doing?!”
However, the Blood Pupil in the sky could only move randomly or shoot out blood-red light. It could not do anything else, much less stop Mu Yao from moving toward the stone statue.
When the man saw the woman moving toward the stone statue, he frowned and thought to himself, ‘What is she doing?’
Of course, Mu Yao’s actions threw the Blood Pupil into a rage, and it blindly swept across the mystical realm with its beams of light. “No! No! Damn you! Stop!”
Mu Yao smirked and skillfully dodged the beams of light. Then, Mu Yao jumped in the air and stabbed the silver sword into the left eye of the statue!
“Die! Soldiers of Tianlong, I will avenge you!”
The next moment, Mu Yao’s silver sword pierced through the stone statue’s eye. Then, a crack appeared on the statue’s eye and the Blood Eye in the sky froze.
Then, the crack grew longer and longer, extending through the entire stone statue.
Suddenly, the left half of the stone statue fell off into the sea of lava, causing sparks to fly out from the lava.
At the same time, the eyeball of the Blood Pupil in the sky started bleeding and it seemed as though blood was raining down from the sky.
“You! How did you know! This is impossible! I’m the Heavenly God! No one has ever defeated me! Who are you? How do you know where my host is? Ah! I will definitely come back!”
The next moment, the Blood Pupil in the air broke apart and fell into the stream of lava. The eerie screams in the valley disappeared completely.
Mu Yao smirked. “Heavenly God? There’s only one place in this mystical realm that can hold you. Where else other than the stone statue?”
To be honest, Mu Yao knew that it didn’t matter whether she stabbed the left or right eye. Either way, the Blood Pupil would crumble and disappear. After all, this wasn’t its only host. What she had gotten rid of was his true clone.
They had only seen one Blood Pupil. However, just like human eyes, there were two Blood Pupil clones. That meant that another clone was waiting for Mu Yao.
The man seemed relieved to see Mu Yao alive.
Just as he was about to collapse, he mustered up the last bit of strength he had to go forward to hold the woman’s waist. Then, he took a step from the wooden plank and flew toward the door that was still flashing with black shadows on the cliff.
Mu Yao felt her body go numb the moment she was held by the waist. It was as if she had been electrocuted. “Hey, I can walk too. Why did you have to hug me?”
The man looked at her affectionately and curled his lips up. “What do you think, woman? How many times have I told you to leave? But you refused to listen to me. You’ll only listen if I do this!”
Mu Yao blushed right away. “You! You can go first!”
The man’s voice was hoarse and weak as he said, “If I leave first, I’ll be letting you off too easily. Don’t forget our agreement. After we get through this door, you have to fulfill your promise!”
It suddenly occurred to Mu Yao that she owed him an alliance agreement! Although she had killed Blood Pupil’s avatar, she had not found an exit in this mystical realm!
The man led Mu Yao through the door and the two of them rolled onto the ground again.
The man curled his lips and said with a slight smile, “Woman, we’re finally back..”
