It was almost 7 in the evening with the cold breeze whistling around in the Star City.

But there was something on the road which was moving at a speed that was not visible to the human eyes, but if one were to use a super slow motion camera to see what it was then for sure they might have seen a blurry figure of a man carrying two little girls in his hands running on the road.

And this for sure would have made them pop their eyeballs out of their heads.

But it was true and none could deny it.

Within the spherical net covering Ye Qian and the little girls, the two were looking around with peering eyes as they saw many people walking on the road and wondered why no one was would yell or say anything.

"Papa, why is no one noticing us?"

Little Jia asked while she pointed at a man who was walking beside another man with a bag in his hand.

Ye Qian chucked and explained.

"Jia, this is because no one can see us, as I am running at a very high speed."

It was no more than 3 minutes and Ye Qian could see the shop of the old man he had gone to yesterday and before that to buy meat.

Ye Qian nodded and guessed it would take about not more than 30 seconds for him to get there.

"Jia, Butterfly, do you want to make a friend?"

Ye Qian suddenly asked as he remembered that the old man had told Ye Qian to bring Little Qiqi to his shop so that she can be friends with that old man's granddaughter.

Remembering this a smile appeared on Ye Qian's lips as he remembered the small girl who was brave and had likely to threaten the old man yesterday.

Hearing Ye Qian's words of having friends the girl's eyes shone.

Though Little Qiqi had many friends in her kindergarten it was not the same for Little Jia.

Though she was smart and more sensible compared to other children in her class they would always detest her since she was the poorest and didn't have other things like them like cars and even no one was there to pick her up after school, this was more due to the parents usually told their kids to keep distance with Little Jia.

So it was an exciting thing for Little Jia to hear about making friends.

She nodded her head in excitement with a wide smile.

"Yes Papa, Qiqi also wants to make new friends."

Little Qiqi grinned.

"Ok then Papa will take you guys to a sweet little girl then."

Ye Qian smiled and slowed his speed down slowly.

He couldn't abruptly stop in front of the shop it might be too much turmoil and shock if he were to do this thing in front of everyone, so he slowed down seeing that there were no people around.

He walked into a small alley between the two closed houses and stopped while putting the little girls down and holding their hands.

"Papa, why did you stop here"

Little Qiqi asked seeing that Ye Qian had stopped in some dark place.

Little Jia patted her head and explained.

"Qiqi, if Papa doesn't stop here then if he were to run into the shop then people will think Papa as a superhuman then Papa will not be able to be with us."

Little Jia said with a smile while she patted Little Qiqi's head.

"Ohhh."

Little Qiqi raised her brows and her lips turned into a wide "O".

She then did a face palming move and nodded.

"Qiqi is such an idiot, Big Sister, thank you or Qiqi would have always been like this."

Little Qiqi said while she shook her head like a mature lady.

Seeing that two little ladies talk like mature old people Ye Qian now really didn't know if he should cry in happiness or in worry.

The two were a bit too mature and this could stop them from enjoying their childhood, so what was the use of such maturity when you can't be able to enjoy the best time of your life.

Ye Qian shook his head and sighed while he patted their heads and extended his hands to them.

"Hmm."

The girls nodded and took hold of his hand on both sides and then the three started to walk out of the alley.

While the three walked Little Qiqi asked while placing her finger on her cheek.

"Papa, with whom will we be friends?"

"And is she older than Qiqi and Big Sister?"

Her questions were simple but Ye Qian had to think about it for a few seconds before he nodded.

"Ummm, the little girl is small than you and Jia, Butterfly."

After pondering, Ye Qian thought the girl was really shorter than Little Qiqi so he thought that she might not be older than Little Qiqi for sure.

"And the girl is the granddaughter of the old man from whom I bought the meat yesterday, he told me to bring you to his shop today since we were going to the mall in the afternoon."

"But then we were in a rush so I forgot about it."

Ye Qian said as they walked to the entrance of the shop.

Seeing the lights on, Ye Qian's sighed in relief.

He had thought that the shop would have been closed since many of the shops around were closed already and this shop was the only one which was still working.

Ye Qian let go of Little Qiqi's hand and opened the glass door.

What he saw next made him narrow his eyes.

The shop was completely silent and there was no one at the counter, this was odd since there was no way the shop would be open and no one would keep the counter open.

Ye Qian took Little Qiqi and Little Jia in the shop and closed the door.

He narrowed his eyes and looked around while patting the little girls' heads.
