"You have to say that word to him my little one?"
Grandma Yan's cold voice buzzed into Grandpa Xiao's ears.
Of course, her words were intended to Grandpa Xiao who was a hungry wolf for news and current affairs.
From the time he came here he was always reading the newspaper and didn't even talk much to Ye Qian and nor to Yuan Meng.
She could understand him for not talking with Ye Qian for a while but what about Yuan Meng?
"Mom, let it be, it's nice for the girls to know about some news as well."
Yuan Meng lightly smiled while caressing Little Qiqi and Little Jia's heads.
Grandma Yan was like a general who had lost a battle that she had not even fought yet.
She could only nod and look at Grandpa Xiao with a few piercing gazes.
Grandpa Yan was delighted to see that this time all were on his side and felt happy as he nodded at Yuan Meng and patted Little Qiqi's head as she came to her to hand the remote.
"Thank you."
Saying that he put his hand in his pocket and fished out something.
They were some apricots that seemed to have been wrapped carefully.
"Huh?"
Ye Qian's eyes furrowed as he carefully glanced at the apricots in Grandpa Xioa's hand as he passed them to Little Qiqi.
'There are slight traces of Qi in them?'
Ye Qian wondered as he closed his eyes and tried to sense the flow of energy in the house.
A moment later he could feel thin thread-like energy surrounding the apricots.
Ye Qian opened his eyes and nodded and didn't say anything.
It would only be nice if the girls were to eat the Apricots having traces of Qi in them.
Though it would not be as much as that of what he would add in the food, the absorption of that Qi would be more than what they would get after eating the food made by the Spirit Stove Technique for a few weeks.
That was also because the Apricots were nurtured in an atmosphere that had Qi while Ye Qian only added the Spiritual Qi to the food.
It was similar to that of marinating the food for a whole night while comparing to that of food which was simply tossed in some spices.
Of course, the one which had been marinated for the whole night would have much flavour and taste than that which was simply tossed around in spices.
And the same applied to the Apricots and the food prepared with the help of the Spirit Stove Technique.
"Take these and eat with your big sister."
Grandpa Xiao said as he handed them to Little Qiqi.
"Hehe, thank you, Grandpa."
Little Qiqi giggled and then ran to Little Jia and the little sparrow who was sitting on Little Jia's lap.
"CHIRP CHIRP"
Little Qiqi waved an apricot to her to which the little thing chirped in delight with shining eyes.
Of course, she could feel the small amount of Qi in the fruit but she was more happy since Little Qiqi gave her some of that as well.

The hearts of the children were really pure as the ancestors used to say.
"Big Sister, have this."
Little Qiq jumped beside Little Jia and handed her two of them while giving one each to Yuan Meng, Ning Wei, Grandma, her Aunt Lan'er's friend.
"Mumma, Aunt Wei you take it too."
"Ohh, my sweet child."
Grandma Yan pecked on her forehead and accepted the fruit with a bright smile.
Though Grandpa Xiao had passed the fruits while telling that it was for her and her big sister, Little Qiqi was sharing them with everyone.
This also made Grandma Yan look up to Yuan Meng's teachings and the way of upbringing her.
Grandma Yan had seen that many children were selfish nowadays and would only try to keep things for themselves until they were told to and this was what made her look down on the familial teachings of their parents and others in the family.
And though Yuan Meng had been away from them for a long time, Grandma Yan had seen the way she would use to teach Little Qiqi ever since she was a toddler.
Though she was also the most beautiful woman in their whole town as well, Yuan Meng still wasn't aloof for that and didn't get over the clouds for that and in fact, tried to teach Little Qiqi various good things since her childhood, this was up to a point that even Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao would rarely need to do it and would only play with Little Qiqi, cause the teachings they were to do were already imparted by her mother to her.
So they could only use some moral stories and other ways to improve her being.
Grandma Yan felt happy that although they had been living in the city for a long she was not like the ones from the city.
She praised Yuan Meng in her heart and didn't know how she should stop.
Meanwhile, Little Qiqi had distributed the apricots to everyone in the room and except for Ye Qian.
"Papa, come to Qiqi."
Little Qiqi went near him and called him.
Since her height was small she could only call her Papa to squat down.
"Hmm."
Knowing what she wanted to do Ye Qian could only nod as he crouched down to her height and extended his hand.
"Ummm hmmmm."
Little Qiqi shook her head while closing her eyes and continued.
"Papa, open your mouth."
"Haha."
Ye Qian laughed out but still opened his mouth wide enough while closing his eyes.
"Hehe."
He heard Little Qiqi's giggle and then felt a sweet, tangy and refreshing feeling on his tongue with a slight tingle on his taste buds.
He understood what it was, the slight tingle was the Qi in the fruits which straight went into his Dantian while trying to heal some of the wound.
