Chapter 407: My Poor Child!

"Mengmeng you..."

Before Ye Qian could say anything, Yuan Meng picked Xiao Ya from Grandma Yan's arms and then said to her.

"Mom, it's getting late, I think we must leave, I made you all wait for me so long."

She didn't even glance at Ye Qian and hear what he wanted to say before she pulled Grandma Yan's hand.

Grandma Yan sighed and felt sorry for Ye Qian.

'What did my child do to make her so pissed off?'

'My poor child, he doesn't even understand what he did wrong.'

Grandma Yan felt sad for Ye Qian as she looked at his twitching face with pity.

'It's my fault, I should have let him know some girls back then, he still doesn't understand anything even now after so many years.'

Grandma Yan sighed and shook her head.

She really felt bad for not letting Ye Qian be knowledgeable in such matters, and made him always concentrate on his studies.

Thus even enrolled him in a Boy's School, until he went to the University where he met Yuan Meng.

Meanwhile, Yu Lan was smiling wryly.

She seemed to be mocking herself as she stared at Yuan Meng's back.

She shook her head and then turned to her friends.

"Let's go."

Yanran and Lin felt that Yu Lan seemed a bit off after seeing her smile but not knowing what it was they didn't ask about it.

"Papa let's go, Mumma will get first!"

Little Qiqi exclaimed noticing that Ye Qian was standing there with a dazed look on his face.

He seems to be like a statue.

Ye Qian smiled wryly at the little girls and nodded.

He turned to Ning Wei and nodded.

"Let's follow them."

"Hmm."

Ning Wei could only nod and flow them.

Right now everyone was out of the house while wearing a simple dress and some warm clothes.

They had just been waiting for Yuan Meng in their sweaters already since it would be getting cold soon.

Yu Lan and her friends were only wearing some simple jeans and tops so it was not difficult for them to have jackets on.

But the same could not be said for Yuan Meng and Ning Wei.

"Phwwwwwhht"

Ye Qian whistled lightly and in just a blink of an eye, a chirp sounded.

The small bird appeared out of nowhere through the sky and then landed on Ning Wei's shoulder.

Ning Wei was close to almost everyone and Yuan Meng and Ye Qian would not feel much cold due to the sphere of Spiritual Qi which Ye Qian made while Yuan Meng was almost at the Mortal Yellow Level of Cultivation.

That could not be said for Ning Wei, Ye Qian's parents, Yu Lan and her friends and the little girls, especially Xiao Ya.

While for Little Jia, since she had the Ice Phoenix body, there was an even rare chance of her feeling some coldness even if the special constitution was dormant at this stage.

And that was also why she didn't feel much cold when she was getting Ice Gel for Ye Qian to decrease his swollen ear.

Ning Wein thanked the little sparrow while rubbing her neck just like Ye Qian.

The little thing purred in delight and chirped while Ning Wei started to feel warmth growing around her.

'Haah this feeling is really cosy, I just feel like I would sleep in this warmth.'

Ning Wei's eyes brightened as she glanced at Ye Qian in a grateful manner.

She had showered and thus she was feeling much colder than others at this time.

And understanding why Ye Qian made the little bird fly to her, Ning Wei only felt warmth in her heart.

Right now, Ye Qian, Ning Wei, the two girls, Little Qiqi and Little Jia and Grandpa Xiao were on one side; while Yuan Meng, Grandma Yan, Luo Ya, Yu Lan and her friends were waiting for them by the other side of the street.

Ye Qian sighed seeing that Yu Lan and her friends seemed to be lightly shivering.

Though the time right now was of sunset, the surrounding was still cold, making one feel a shiver for some time till they got used to it after anyone walked out of their house.

As they waited by the street for a taxi, many people stared at the group while most of them glanced at Yuan Meng and Ning Wei.

Many of the women had a thoughtful expression as they saw Yuan Meng as if she was someone they knew.

But they didn't dare to question feeling an oppressive pressure around her due to her natural aura.

"Aunt Mo, Uncle Yun."

While being in Ye Qian's arms, Little Qiqi was cheerful and while looking at the people walking past them, she called out one of the couples who seems to be coming back from the store, since they were holding a couple of bags in their hands.

"Huh?"

Of course, the woman was also wondering if she had seen this beautiful woman who stood by the gate of the Ye family's house.

After hearing a baby voice calling her, the woman who was wondering if she knew the woman stopped and turned to Ye Qian who was holding Little Qiqi in his arms.

"Hey, Little Qiqi, what are you doing here?"

The woman asked in wary, she seemed to be suspicious of Ye Qian as she looked at him from head to toe a couple of times before she felt that this man was seemingly ordinary.

But after thinking about the news and announcements that were made about the band of bad people entering the city, she became vigilant.
