Ismail simply snickered. It was impossible to wipe out the stitched monsters using such equipment. The stitched monster had been trapped by the metal chain, and its body had expanded, causing the parts in contact with the metal chain to bloat. This stitched monster continued expanding. Less than three seconds later, the metal chain had burst open with a clap.
Nauseating slime spewed out. Even though Delase stood a great distance away, his clothes were still stained by it.
The protective holy prose on Delase’s body flashed two times before being extinguished. Grabbing onto the robe with one hand, he tore it away and tossed it aside, revealing soft armor inside.
On Fanyin’s side, he kept summoning flames which descended from the skies. Those flames traveled faster than an arrow, striking the stitched monsters accurately.
The stitched monsters continued charging forward energetically. More debilitated weapons had appeared in their possession, it was not known when they had appeared.
A wound had been corroded into Delase’s body. At this point in time, he realized that a stitched monster was not afraid of entrapment by holy proses, they could make themselves explode. If other creatures were tied up by Delase, they would be helpless as long as the metal chain was not destroyed. Even though the holy words on the chain were not personally written by a god, it had been soaked in the holy water of the Glorious City for centuries.
Why were these evil creatures not affected?
Ismail commanded the stitched monsters to besiege the two adjudicators. When the flames landed on the stitched monsters, there was vigorous burning. Purplish black liquid oozed out of the stitched monsters’ decomposed skin, producing sizzling noises, but the stitched monsters would not die.
The flames in this purgatory space were a simulation of the purgatory environment. The materials of the stitched monsters’ bodies were collected by Ismail in purgatory, so their resistance to purgatory flames was ridiculously high.
The flying dragon flew extremely quickly. Ismail had already arrived behind Fanyin with the Elemental Spear. Fanyin inhaled a breath of air sharply, causing his body to glow with holy radiance, and a longsword appeared in his hand.
The longsword was transparent. Countless microscopic holy words flowed within it, giving off a golden glow.
This three-yard long longsword was very lightweight in Fanyin’s hand. When Ismail tried to stab him with the spear, Fanyin’s sword abruptly extended over seven yards long. The sword then cleaved downwards.
The space formed by the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory was not very huge, it even paled in comparison to the holy weapon wielded by the black deacon in the past. Fanyin’s attack was about to slice the sky into two parts, but Ismail did not even bat an eye. The Elemental Spear struck the tip of his sword accurately.
Crisp crackling sounds filled the entire space. Fanyin spit out golden blood as he fell towards the ground. Ismail’s Elemental Spear had been destroyed, but he took out another from that gigantic eye on his back. The Elemental Spear was never a tangible object. As long the Eye of Hades was not destroyed, the Elemental Spear could be recovered anytime.
Even though each destruction would cause the power of the Elemental Spear to be slightly reduced, an adjudicator like Fanyin would not be able to make it lose its might.
This Elemental Spear was personally crafted by the goddess. Even a god would be injured if hit.
When Fanyin crashed towards the ground, dozens of stitched monsters swarmed towards him, lunging at him. The stitched monsters still carried purgatory flames on the surface of their bodies, causing Fanyin to scream in agony. The wings on his back crumbled, as a strong golden light emerged from the crevices in the stitched monsters.
“Run now!” Fanyin bellowed, then the whole space trembled vigorously. The dozens of stitched monsters who were grabbing him were flung away by the impact as a golden man dozens of yards tall crawled out of Fanyin’s body. The golden giant’s weapon was a flail.
This mammoth flail hit the stitched monsters ruthlessly. This time around, the stitched monsters were smashed into a pulp. Shreds of flesh danced in the air, disintegrating into fine dust at an observable speed.
Delase was a little stunned when he saw that Fanyin had released his source of power from his body. Delase’s metal chain was now woven into a net, entrapping the stitched monsters who attacked him. Turning around, he noticed that Ismail was wielding the Elemental Spear, charging forward.
More than a hundred evil knights rushed out from the Eye of Hades on Ismail’s back, surrounding the godly entity that Fanyin had turned into.
A purgatory walker!
Delase groaned in excruciation. A purgatory walker would always bring along a group of evil knights. In a purgatory space, these evil knights would enjoy a substantial boost in their powers. “Why was I so stupid, how can I exterminate the enemy in this space.”
The Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory was a powerful holy weapon, it could ambush the enemy and be converted into twelve spaces. Each of these twelve spaces represented a type of harsh environment found in purgatory. The current space they were in was flame purgatory. To a purgatory walker, there was no hindrance at all.
A purgatory walker was originally a person who helped the Hell King get rid of the rebels. Their mission was to battle against those who dared oppose the Hell King. As such, there was not an environment in the purgatory that could restrain a purgatory walker.
“Stop!” Seeing that the divine crystal around the eyebrows of Fanyin’s godly entity were shrinking continuously, Delase knew that he had to escape, because Fanyin would be banished into his original form very soon. It was impossible for him to fly out of the desert using his Divine spells because the Six-legged Flying Dragon could fly much faster than him.
Using the spear, Ismail stabbed directly at Fanyin’s head.

The invincible Elemental Spear crumbled once again, Fanyin’s godly entity also began breaking down. Countless rays of golden light returned to Fanyin’s body, but he could no longer stand up.
At this moment, Ismail took out another Elemental Spear. If one used a mage’s perception to observe, they would realize that the color of the third Elemental Spear had paled, it was obvious that it had sustained serious damage.
“Why did you ask me to stop?” With a wave of his hand, the dozens of trapped stitched monsters exploded gradually, while the one-hundred yard metal chain broke into a dozen segments.
“We are in possession of the seeds grown by the gods. If you kill us, you will incur the wrath of the gods.” Delase might appear unyielding, but he was actually pleading for mercy.
“Oh, the wrath of the gods, that is really troublesome.” Ismail seemed to be in thought. Delase then wanted to continue persuading Ismail, but the Elemental Spear in Ismail’s hand had already been tossed, accurately striking Fanyin who was below him.
Fanyin was merely a holy master, his body was not even as tough as a magic beast. When the Elemental Spear penetrated him, his body was shattered, sputtering in mid-air, like a group of burnt particles.
“I have already killed one, so how are you going to persuade me now?” Ismail mocked as he stared at Delase.
Delase was rendered speechless. He was begging for mercy because anyone killed by the Elemental Spear would have no chance at resurrection. Every single part of a person’s body would disappear from the face of the earth, turning into energy for other beings. Even the Lord of Glory could not reverse this situation.
“If I let you go, your god will not spare me either. Just let me kill you.” The flying dragon under Ismail’s feet drew closer gradually. Pained, Delase took out the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory, lifting it with both hands, then said, “Your Highness, I am willing to surrender, please spare my life.”
“I can spare you, but only if…” Ismail looked at Delase. Delase’s face was lowered, his head hung low. “If you follow me, and switch to another god.”
“Impossible…” Delase’s voice was so low, it was almost inaudible.
“What did you say?” Ismail taunted Delase. Delase raised his head, then said,
“Impossible!”
The pages of the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory began flipping urgently. A holy prose flew out from each page, bumping into one another vigorously in mid-air.
Ismail jeered, then he bent down and grabbed the thorn behind the flying dragon’s neck. With a leap, he jumped into the Eye of Hades behind him.
When the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory reached the last page, the whole space shrank before exploding. Hundreds of evil knights screamed. In the space, countless flames, ice particles, acids, and other substances crashed towards the center fiercely.
Delase’s body turned into ashes in that instant, but a golden soul flew out, breaking out of the space and flying into the upper atmosphere.
The purgatory space expanded and contracted several times before finally collapsing.
“Damn it!” Ismail yelled furiously, then he burst out of the Eye of Hades. The flying dragon under his feet looked withered, as it fell towards the ground. Ismail’s Eye of Hades had moved out of the space directly, but it could not salvage those evil knights.
Ismail had led those hundreds of evil knights out of the purgatory plane, they were his fundamental assets. Delase had destroyed the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory while Ismail escaped, but those evil knights had been turned into mere powder within the space.
The purgatory space disappeared, and in its original position, a torn page drifted and fell slowly towards the ground. Ismail tried to grab it, but a shadow on the ground leaped up and snatched it from him.
This person was Nailisi. Glancing at Ismail, she said, “You are in trouble, Master demands your presence.”
“Humph.” Ismail did not bother arguing. Only one page of the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory remained. Even if it was repaired, there would only be one space left. To Ismail, it was not very useful.
That bit of golden light flew increasingly faster in mid-air. Under sustenance of a divine spell, Delase’s soul tried to fly back to the headquarters of the Holy See. As long as his soul was conserved in the Glorious City, he could be revived in the future.
In the blink of an eye, Delase’s soul had reached an altitude of about one-thousand yards. Out of the blue, a gigantic hand appeared out of thin air, enveloping Delase’s soul, then it retracted into nothingness once again.
This Delase was not very familiar with the Purgatory Desert. If flying was allowed in the sky of the desert, Lex would have located the goddess’ temple long ago, she would not have to crawl on the ground in the magic war chariot.
A creature from an unknown origin was hiding in nihility, waiting to capture anyone who dared fly. In the Purgatory Desert, anyone who flew more than five-hundred yards would be in danger. In the end, Delase’s soul still did not return to the Glorious City, it had become food for a monster.
Ismail withdrew the Eye of Hades slowly. Landing on the ground, he did not even take a second look at the ailing flying dragon. He walked towards Saleen’s barrack alone.
