133 A Midnight Raid
It was quite unsettling to think about it this way.
“What do you plan to do next, Aloy? What Luo Ying said before is true. Most people don’t have the strength to fight against exotic beasts.
“If I were to choose, it would be better to boot them out as soon as possible instead of letting them die here. After all… some people here are a real hindrance. Maybe they won’t be of any use, and having them around might even result in an undesirable outcome.”
Speaking up to this point, Shen Fei sneered. The figures of several young masters from the city naturally came to his mind. It was already good enough that these people have not started any internal conflicts yet before a real disaster appeared.
“I’m still thinking about it.” Aloy turned around with her back facing Shen Fei. Her eyes were filled with complicated emotions.
The two problems of Lear and the exotic beast horde were like huge boulders weighing down on her heart. If she still had the strength she had back then, she would not have to make such a difficult decision now.
She would have gone and killed them all right away.
“To be honest, I don’t want them to face the exotic beasts, either.” Aloy sighed, her thoughts drifting away.
Without a doubt, the exotic beast horde was the best opportunity for the many Beastmasters taking part in the examination to improve themselves. As long as they could get through this exotic beast horde, their combat strength would be greatly improved, and there would be more powerful warriors in the future.
It was a pity that not many of the people present could understand her good intentions.
‘…Forget it.’ Aloy sighed silently in her heart. Since they were unwilling, there was no need for her to force the issue.
Aloy took a deep breath and made up her mind. “Let’s go, Shen Fei. Before the exotic beast horde arrives, let’s move out all the people who can’t fight.
“It’s good that you understand,” Shen Fei nodded his head. Just as he was about to grab Aloy’s hand and leave with her…
The ground under his feet suddenly shook violently.
“GRAARR!!!”
The Black Sun’s loud and piercing cry resounded throughout the entire camp. In an instant, the tents in the camp lit up one after another!
“Oh, no! He’s coming!”
Li Ruoying’s expression immediately changed. She grabbed her sleeping bag and crawled into it, hiding inside and shivering like a caterpillar.
“I didn’t expect that blockhead to come so quickly.”
Aloy frowned and looked at the Black Sun that was flying in the air. Looking at its current condition, it seemed to be much stronger than before. The situation seemed to have become more troublesome.
When Shen Fei saw Lear, he frowned. “I’ll go out and meet him first!”
However, just as he was about to leave the tent, Aloy reached out and stopped him.
“Don’t rush off yet.” Aloy looked at Shen Fei and shook her head. “Wait in the camp and observe first. There’s a tight protective cover outside the camp. Lear won’t be able to get in for a while!”
“Graar!”
The Black Sun let out a long howl. The surrounding dark elements gathered under the Black Sun’s call, forming a huge ball of shadow in front of it. The Black Sun flapped its wings, and that huge Shadow Ball immediately charged toward Shen Fei!
BOOM!!!
The Shadow Ball landed on the protective shield of the camp, and the violent shockwave shook the entire camp.
Lear stood on the Black Sun’s back and announced to the people in the camp.
“Everyone in the camp, listen up! I’m a very fair person. As long as you hand over Shen Fei, I’ll let you live! Otherwise, you can all just wait to be buried with him!”
After saying that, a huge Shadow Ball once again condensed on the Black Sun’s chest and abdomen.
“That blockhead is still as despicable as before!” Aloy frowned. “Looks like we’ll have to send them out first.”

“Send them all to the wormhole?”
“Yeah. They might be able to hold on for a while against the exotic beast horde, but if they face-off against Lear, these students are dead for sure!”
Aloy nodded and summoned her Ice Spirit to surround her.
“We’ll split up. I’ll go and wake the students up. Shen Fei, you deal with blockhead.”
As soon as Aloy finished speaking, Black sun’s roar resounded through the sky.
“Graar!”
Along with black sun’s furious roar …
Pitch-black shadows seeped into the soil on the surface like raindrops, swarming into the camp from all directions through the gaps in the protective shield.
Countless pitch-black humanoid creatures emerged from the shadows of the tent.
Shen Fei looked at his surroundings vigilantly.
He felt that something was not right around here.
It was very quiet, but he couldn’t tell what was wrong.
Li ruoying curled up tightly in her sleeping bag, looking at the increasing number of shadows in the tent in fear. “They’re here, they’re here!”
“Roar!” The Ice Spirit arched its back and looked around warily.
In the lit tent, countless dim yellow shadows emerged from the gaps between the tents and the ground beneath them. They quickly fused into an incredibly massive shadow creature. Brandishing its fists, it suddenly hurled toward the back of Shen Fei’s head!
“Roar!”
The Ice Spirit immediately reacted. A transparent ice wall instantly protected Shen Fei and the other two.
A crack visible to the naked eye appeared in the middle of the transparent ice wall and quickly spread to the surrounding.
Shen Fei immediately pulled Aloy behind him and fearlessly looked at the enemy in front of him.
The black shadow once again raised his fist with all his strength, and ruthlessly smashed it toward Shen Fei’s face!
“Coo, coo!”
The Firebird sensed the danger and immediately came out of the spirit beast space. It flapped its wings and appeared beside Shen Fei.
The moment the Firebird appeared.
The blazing fire directly burned the entire tent and the shadow into ashes.
“Since blockhead wants to fight, we’ll fight to our heart’s content with him!”
…
“What’s happening?”
Qian Yu suddenly woke up in the lookout post and saw Luo Ying rushing out in a hurry, looking anxious.
Luo Ying looked at Qian Yu in horror. “Something big has happened! That savage exotic beast that was chasing after you guys is back!”
“What?!” Upon hearing this, Qian Yu immediately sat up from his bed. “Where is it now?”
“Just outside the camp, but don’t act rashly.” Luo Ying quickly held Qian Yu down. “You haven’t recovered from your injuries yet. Leave everything outside to me.”
“Don’t be silly!” Qian Yu grabbed Luo Ying’s arm, his eyes full of worry. “Even with my strength, I might not be able to deal with that blockhead, so you can’t do anything either. The most important thing now is to gather all the students and send them out of the wormhole!”
