62 Visiting Senior Qian Yu
Shen Fei laid drowsily on the bed and gradually fell asleep. When he woke up, it was already the morning of the next day.
Shen Fei sluggishly sat up and stretched his body.
“Zzzz…”
The moment Shen Fei awoke, he noticed his Flame Owl on the bedside table had one eye open and one eye closed. The little guy was sleeping in a daze, but he still seemed to be working hard to keep watch.
Shen Fei chuckled as he lightly patted the Flame Owl’s head. Then, he tucked it back into its pocket realm.
‘I’ll let Flame Owl have a good rest today. Leave the battles to the Three-clawed Golden Dragon!’
Shen Fei looked at the bed beside him. It was empty, and it was obvious that Aloy had been gone for some time.
‘It seems she has already left.’
It was time for him to go home. Although today was a rest day, he still had a lot of things to do.
Shen Fei rushed to the bathroom to wash up and ruthlessly patted his face with cold water. His chaotic thoughts from last night gradually became clearer.
The man in the car last night who called himself Aloy’s uncle would probably take action again in the future. It was also very likely that he had gone to the Shen family’s residence last night.
From now on, he would have to be more careful when he slept at night. He might have to leave the spirit beasts outside and let them keep watch. Moreover, there was growing activity from those who wish him dead.
Increasing his strength was a top priority.
Even though he only needed to cultivate in the special cultivation room for two more days before he advanced to a new Beastmaster tier, it was only enough to help him through the city examination. This was still far from enough to help him deal with the Beastmasters from the powerful families!
If he wanted to become an Apprentice-tier Beastmaster, he would have to train for at least two months. There would certainly not be any rapid improvement in the short term.
‘Let’s just start with something that can be changed quickly.’
To start with, he could let the Three-clawed Golden Dragon learn some new skills. Shen Fei stroked his chin and pondered.
He had always wanted to visit Senior Qian Yu. However, the other party was usually very busy and rarely showed up at school. The number of times they had met could be counted on one finger. It would be great if there was a way to contact him…
“Shen Fei, I brought breakfast.” Aloy pushed the door open holding a rice ball packet in each hand, and threw one over to him.
“Many thanks.” Shen Fei simply nodded his head at her. He opened the package and started eating.
Having been out for a while, Aloy had changed into a new set of clothes. She wore a red dress, and even had on a pair of refined glasses to match it, looking particularly formal.
“Why are you dressed so formally today?”
Aloy frowned and swallowed the rice ball in her mouth.
“My uncle’s holding a birthday party today. He invited almost everyone from the Gelin family, and even other families from other cities to attend. But I think he doesn’t like you, so he probably didn’t send you an invitation.”
“That would be for the best.” Shen Fei glanced at the phone without a change in his expression. He did not know what to type his message to Qian You..
“Indeed. Anyway, the preparation stage is during the day. I still have to go over and work with my father. The banquet will be held after six o’clock tonight. If you’re free tonight and are willing to accompany me, I’ll welcome you anytime.”
At this point, Aloy smiled and handed him a paper bag. “There’s a suit inside that matched my outfit. If you want to come, you can just wear that.”

“Alright,” he said. Shen Fei nodded and accepted the paper bag. “If I’m still free by then, I’ll come.”
“Alright, I’ll be leaving then.” Aloy nodded and finished the rest of her breakfast in three bites. Then, she quickly tidied up her clothes and turned to leave the hotel room.
…
“Your uncle has something important to tell you. Make sure to attend the banquet today. I don’t want to hear any excuses about not wanting to come!”
Looking at the message from her father on her phone, Aloy had mixed feelings. Her father and uncle had always been on bad terms. But for some reason, her father agreed to bring her to her uncle’s party…
He also said that Lear had something important to tell her.
‘Who is he trying to fool?’ Aloy snorted coldly. She wanted to see what kind of bullcrap her uncle was selling.
Anyway, there would be so many people at the banquet. Under everyone’s watchful eyes, her uncle could not do anything to her!
At the thought of this, Aloy quickly walked towards the hotel exit.
…
Shen Fei picked up the bag that Aloy had left him and peeked inside. There was a set of men’s clothing inside that matched Aloy’s. If he could finish earlier today, he would be able to rush to Aloy’s uncle’s banquet that night.
He had to hurry.
Thought her uncle had invited everyone, it would not be that simple. Shen Fei had never paid much attention to the gossip in the city, but everyone knew that the mayor and his brother did not have a harmonious relationship. Hosting a banquet like this seemed almost treacherous.
Shen Fei packed his things and left the hotel.
Qian Yu’s place was located in the city near the suburbs. Shen Fei took a bus and arrived at the Qian family’s door.
The Qian family’s gate looked shabby. The red paint on it was very uneven. The left side was deep while the right side was shallow. It seemed to have been worn by many years of use.
The Qian family and the Shen family used to be famous families in this city. However, the Qian family gradually declined due to business reasons. The Shen family never suffered a blow from the Qian family. Even during the Qian family’s most difficult times, they did not think of trampling on the Shen family to profit for themselves.
Instead, they relied on their own efforts to rise up. Just this fact alone was enough to gain people’s admiration. Not to mention that the Qian family often did charity in the city and sponsored various large orphanages.
Although they had already withdrawn from the ranks of the six major families in the city, everyone’s faces would still show a look of yearning when they talked about the Qian family.
“Is anyone there?” Shen Fei went up and knocked on the door.
“Yes, who is it?” Qian Yu, wearing only pajamas, opened the door. He looked as if he had just woken up. “Oh, it’s you, Shen Fei.”
Qian Yu leaned against the door. He did not seem angry, and even waved enthusiastically at Shen Fei. “Come in, come in and have a seat!”
Shen Fei quickly waved his hand. “No need, Senior Qian Yu. I’m just here to tell you something. I’ll be quick.”
He had accidentally woken Qian Yu up just now. If he continued to disturb him, he might easily annoy his senior.
“Tell me then, what’s the matter?” Qian Yu looked at Shen Fei curiously.
“Senior, as a dragon Beastmaster, would you be willing to teach me some Dragon-type skills?”
“Yawn…” Qian Yu covered his mouth with his hand and yawned lazily. Shen Fei became nervous at this.
‘Is he saying that he’s not interested?’
