I asked Rinnosuke if he knows the named person that has the name Aya Shemeiru

He said that name belongs to a Tengu in the Yokai Mountain

And I am currently Trekking my way towards the top of the Mountain

while I'm at it I will go back to the cave where I came from because Ibaraki's sword is inside there

I am currently at the foot of the mountain near the waterfall but it seemed there are children.

They all have backpacks and blue hair and they seemed comfortable in the water

Though I'm going to ask them what creature are they

I approach them quite easily because they are so distracted by what they are doing

Ibaraki: Can I ask you girls about something?

They all look at me and fear started to appear on their face

Kappa1: Waah! An Oni!

Kappa2: don't eat us we aren't tasty!

Kappa3: help us!!

They all run away except for the one child that seemed frozen out of fear

I approaches that one and she seemed to accept her fate as she closed her eyes

This particular child has blue hair tied into twintails and blue eyes. She wears a blue dress with lots of pockets around the hem of the skirt and her upper arm, and a dark aquamarine backpack with a golden key on the strap in front of her. She also wears a green hat with a white wispy symbol on it, blue wellington boots, and carries a cattail.

Ibaraki: What are you?

Nitori: ehh?

Ibaraki: a ground fairy or something?

Nitori: Um... Kappa

Ahh... The aquatic goblin, though why is the goblin so ugly when the aquatic goblin is so cute?!

The world... Um... Gensokyo is strange

Ibaraki: I see, sorry for bothering

I continued to move toward the mountain

Nitori: um...

Oh... It seemed she had some question

She raised her sharp claws but a blur prevented her and made her drop Nitori

Well I need to know the person that helped me

he has red eyes and shoulder-length pink hair with Chinese-styled buns. Her right arm is wrapped in bandages, concealing a gaseous black smoke. She wears a white top and a green skirt. Over her top is a maroon tabard with a thorny vine motif and a large rose-shaped ornament just below collar level. Her single-strap shoes are colored the same as her tabard, and a shackle lays on her left wrist.

<A/N: Kasen is based on Ibaraki Douji so you could say that she is the urban legend of Ibaraki Douji while the MC is Ibaraki Douji herself... something like that>

Hmm...? She smells like an Oni but not at the same time

Kasen/Nitori: ehh?!

Kasen: no, something similar to a celestial

Celestial means angels? Well some Onis are equivalent to devils so I'm not surprised

Kasen: what about you why did you come here on the surface?

Ibaraki: to find a tengu named Aya so I could have a word with her

Kasen: so you are the Oni in the newspaper

Ibaraki: I am but she is putting lies on that so I want to correct it because I will be hunted down if she keeps doing it

Ibaraki: and I'm not fond of violence

Because two lifetimes of violence is enough I don't want to have three

Kasen: very well I will guide you there so I could prevent you from triggering your curse

Ibaraki: un! Thanks

I look at the Kappa on that person's back

Ibaraki: once again I'm sorry

Nitori: Apology accepted...

Ibaraki: My name is Ibaraki Douji how about you?

Kasen seemed surprised to hear my name

Nitori: Nitori Kawashiro

Kasen: IbaraKasen

[Thats her Hermit's title]

That's a lie... Well I don't care if she didn't use her real name

I am currently with Kasen moving upwards through the mountain

Though it's a bit awkward because we didn't speak to each other

Ibaraki: Kasen

Kasen: what is it Ibaraki?

Ibaraki: are you sure you aren't an Oni? Although it's faint I could still smell it

Kasen: yes, I'm a hermit though probably because of my arm that you can smell it

Hmm... That is a good point

Unfortunately, I sense that it's a lie

Kasen: how about you, What is your curse?

Ibaraki: It's a curse that made me lose all sense of reason within me and makes me go rampage left and right until it wears off or someone will kill me

Ibaraki: though many people tried to kill me they can't do it because I will always run if that happens

Kasen: what an honest person...

Ibaraki: though I couldn't say the same to you

Kasen flinched by my remark

Ibaraki: honestly I couldn't care if you say it or not, we aren't that close to being blunt so you have no reason to tell me

Kasen: yes...

We continued to walk but it seemed Kasen is the one that initiated the conversation

I've learned a lot from our exchange and I could draw a solid conclusion that she is a former Oni though I don't know why she hates being an Oni

I don't condemn it because once you quit being an Oni you aren't one anymore
