『Dear passengers, we’re about to arrive at Ryuudou. Please pay attention, and don’t forget your luggage.』
The polite announcement resounded in the vehicle again.
「UWAAAAAA~!」
「It’s hu~ge!!」
Lily and Faeri peeked out from the window, merrily shouting as they looked at the scenery in front of the locomotive.
Then, they saw a city surrounded by ramparts even taller than Labyrinth city; Leuwin’s rampart.
The locomotive headed toward the giant, open gate.
「Such… an elegant city…」
「Nya~~~n.」
Aria couldn’t hide her shock upon seeing the cityscape as soon as they descended from the vehicle.
Tama let out an adorable cry as if he was agreeing with her.
Just like in Ganryuu, the scenery of lined-up wooden buildings with tiled roofs seems to mesh very well with the greenery.
Even the huge castle in the center of the city, which towered over the other buildings, gave the same, refreshing feeling.
「Well then, let’s book an inn first.」
「It’ll be better if there’s an open room in a nice inn?」
Cedric and Arnold conversed while viewing the refreshing scenery before them.
The party then gathered the information about the inns in the city from the ogre who acted as the station attendant. After that, they headed toward an inn.
(Uhm, as expected, Ogre tribe aside, many other tribes’ members are walking outside.)
Tama enjoyed the surrounding scenery while being shaken up and down following the movement of Aria’s twin melons.
Excluding the Ogre tribe people, who wore yukatas, members of many other tribes, such as humans, elves, and beastmen walked around the city.
Since Summer solstice festival was around the corner, the number of tourists visiting this city for sightseeing had experienced a sharp rise.
Various kinds of preparations, such as the construction of the stages and carts for the summer solstice festival, could be seen everywhere.
After walking for a while―
The party finally arrived at the inn, which became their destination, while bantering amongst themselves.
Amongst the several inns recommended by the Ogre staff in the station, Aria and co. had chosen and gone to the biggest inn.
「Welcome to our inn, Dear Guests.」
Upon entering the inn, they were welcomed by an Ogre girl’s polite greeting.
Although she had also worn a yukata, hers had a slightly more elaborate design.
Aria looked at the gorgeous yukata with a curious expression as she was being guided to the information desk. Arnold whispered to her in secret.
「Aria-chan, the name of that dress is kimono.」
「Kimono… it’s so adorable?」
「Nya~n(Yeah, it’ll suit you really well, Master)!」
Tama purred in agreement after he knew that Aria had become even more interested in trying the dress after knowing its name, Kimono.
The lobby of the inn was the perfect harmony of Japanese and Western culture with tables, sofas, and a mix of quilts.
After making the reservations, they immediately entered their rooms. Aria, Tama, Stella, Lily, Faeri, and Vulcan chose the biggest room. Naturally, Cedric and Arnold reserved a double room.
「GUHAHAHAHAHA~!」
「YA~Y!」
「So bi~g!」
Stella, Lily, and Faeri frolicked as soon as they entered the room.
Just like the lobby, the room they had reserved was also a perfect blend of Japanese and Western culture.
After opening the window, they would find themselves on a small and stylish terrace. Moreover, the rooftop of the inn offered them the full cityscape of the royal capital.
Stella dived right into the small, yet stylish bed prepared in their bedroom. Lily and Faeri also hopped in their bed.
Aria and Vulcan sorted out their luggage before going out again while looking at the three with warm smiles on their faces. They planned to enjoy the cuisine of this country along with everyone.
「Aria, I want to hug Tama too!」
「Stella-chan, well I guess it’s okay… This is the prize for looking after Faeri-chan and Lily-chan along the way until we arrived?」
「YAAAAAAAAAY!」
Stella was in extremely high spirits after Aria rewarded her with the right to hug Tama.
She had looked after Lily and Faeri, who always frolicked around, while also frolicking around with them herself during their sea trip with the passenger ship.
It seemed she had become something akin to the fairies’ big sister after taking care of them for so long during that trip.
(Uhm… Well, I guess it really can’t be helped.)
Different from when they had just met, Tama was no longer wary of Stella’s attack. H0e would allow Stella to hug him as long as Aria gave her permission.
Tama leaped into Stella’s ch*st the moment she spread her arms to welcome him. The dragon girl gently caught Tama and hugged him with a wide grin.
「YA~AY! ME TOO~!」
Lily dived in between Tama and Stella’s ch*st with her usual lively smile.
「Mu~, I want to hug Tama too~」
Faeri pouted when she saw this, but after Aria said to her that she could hug Tama later, she immediately cheered up.
