Chapter 3: 3

After making sure to wear my contacts much properly this time and packing a spare too i left the castle quietly

"Before going to O.D.D. can we head to the nearest mall?" I ask the driver who only nod in response once we reach the mall

Before i even get out two bulk man covered me with a black umbrella to stop the sun from being contact with me

"Thank you" i flash a smile at them

 i quickly head to the bookstore and grab some art suplies along with a few books then i head to the toy store and quickly grab a handful of them lastly before i forgot i brought some yarn

"Where should we send this sir?" The clerk ask me, "please send them to the O.D.D."

After that i quickly leave a bag of yarn on my hands while i munch on some donuts along with my guards

All the servants at the castle are beta's and i knew all of them we mostly dont talk a lot or more like they cant talk because their tounges are cut off once they start working as a palace servant

Its so to stop them to talking behind their masters back

We reach the location peacefuly since we ate before going it seems the stuff we brought arive before us

     It was where omegas who is no longer of mating age, cannot reproduce, insane, got no place to go and lastly young omegas was house into 

       Back then people treat omegas so harshy to the point omega's need to be imported from other places but the other places also is running out of omegas too because of that O.D.D was made

You also cannot have an omega in possesion if you cannot satisfy their needs (an inspectioner would visit houses to houses to see the living conditions of the omega)

If an omega died in your care incidently you can no longer have an omega all your other omega would be taken in

No lobotomy

Yes to education

Yes to work

And more 

But even with all those rules omegas still suffer 

Once i get out of car lots of people crowded over me and most of them are children

Omegas children was a pain to take care off as they dont have much value other than being a sex tool because of that they are mostly abandoned here then adopted back once before they come of age

I heard countless of laughter when the box containing the items i brought was opened

The children crowding me scattered and ran into the box grabing what their hands latched on

"It must be nice being young doesn't it?" The chairman of O.D.D. asked me

I nodded and he start to smile biterly, "you know its trully is unfair to think that they would suffer just by being born"

He clutched the small locket hanging in his neck

"You know there once a time i loved an omega he was the brightest of them all i wish to marry him" he look at me in a sad gaze, "but i was a beta and when his heat cycle start i can only watch in the sidelines unable to do anything yet even if it was painful he choose me" 

An omega's body would weaken if they do not mate with an alpha the same goes both ways 

I knew that yet even i still go am fall in love with something i cant have

"It seems like you also had a story to tell" he paused, "its okay another story wont hurt this old man"

"It was six years ago i was about to be married with this alpha but before our wedding i find him sleeping with my omega brother when i questioned why he told me it was because he wants to stay healthy"

"At that time i dont know what to say he was kind and smart he got no flaws the only thing he ask of me is to let him continue to sleep with my brother but i couldnt handle it"

"I thought i can but when i find out my brother was pregnant i gave up and left"

"A new era?" I look at him in the eyes and notice his eyes brimming with determination

"Indeed but to do that i be needing your help" he then proceed to bring me into his office and there i saw a messy room

Files was stuck in a pile and in the corner was a wall covered with newspapers and pictures and a small pin tied with red string connected them to each other

I come home in midnight exhausted of my conversation with the chairman and was surprised to see another stack of letters in my desk

That's when i saw the familiar orange sented envelope

I open it with excitement after all it seems like my old friend i wrote letters with for years but suddenly disapeared finally wrote back to me

Currently i was transfered here at the O.D.D. sadly i didn't got enough courage to meet you face to face, it seems like your more beautiful in person than the news said>

I smiled at the compliment said to me as i hug the letter warmly, "his still alive im so glad"

When the letters stopped coming i thought he died by the hands of his new owner it was a big relief he was alive

I then quickly grab a paper and sign pen and start writting back

<i'm glad your still alive and well, when the letters stop coming i was afraid i would no longer converse with you again. Did you know a masqurade would be held at the palace would you like to be my partner? Its okay to decline i dont mind>

After that i fold the letter and place it safely in the scented envelop i had and seal it with wax 

I ring the bell summoning the two servants again, "please send this letter for me" i instructed them and they left without any response other than a small nod 

Then i scroll in my contacts and dial the chairman's number

[Hello? Is this perhaps you your highness? About the plan, are you gonna give your answer now?]

"Sadly i still need time to think but i noticed would you like to make another law with me?" 

Eventually Words flashed in the television screen in bold letters <omegas can noe have phones> at this news many alphas are disatisfied to think that now they got to waste money to buy a useless phone to each of their lovers or else they be taken away angered them

Even in the dark age of my original world men logics was a pure idiocacy

To think many people have died because of this logic trully saddens my heart

After all i watched my sister get denounced for being a female after all companies prefer male workers in terms of bussiness only male succeed

My sister told me in order to be promoted she need to turn a blind eye when her boss touch her in her private areas

Thats why i hate it here it reminds me of seeing her broke down into tears 

This world or my previous world nothing changed 

I look at the stack of envelopes in my desk and start reading thru them and find one interesting letter
