Olivia was panting heavily, sweat soaked her skin as she sat up in her bed. It was just a nightmare, but it felt so real. In her dream, Emily had broken up with her, saying she had found someone else. The thought of losing Emily made Olivia's heart ache with pain.
She glanced at the clock and realized it was only 2 am. Emily was sleeping soundly next to her, her chest rising and falling with each breath. Olivia wanted to wake her up, to tell her about her nightmare, but she didn't want to disturb her sleep.
Olivia sat there for a few minutes, trying to calm down her racing heart. But the more she thought about her nightmare, the more anxious she became. She knew she had to talk to Emily, to tell her how much she meant to her, and to make sure that they were okay.
Olivia gently shook Emily awake, who groggily opened her eyes. "What's wrong, Liv?" Emily asked, sensing the urgency in her voice.
"I had a nightmare," Olivia said, tears starting to form in her eyes. "I dreamt that you broke up with me and found someone else."
Emily sat up, concern etched on her face. "Oh, Liv, that's just a nightmare. I would never leave you. You mean everything to me."
"I know," Olivia said, still feeling the anxiety gripping her. "But sometimes I just feel so insecure. I feel like I'm not enough for you, that someone else could come along and steal you away from me."
Emily reached out and took Olivia's hand, her touch calming Olivia down. "Liv, you are more than enough for me. I love you so much, and I could never imagine being with anyone else."
Olivia smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. Emily leaned in and gently kissed her, their lips meeting in a soft, comforting embrace.
But then Emily pulled back, her eyes flashing with something different. "But if you need more reassurance, Liv, I'm happy to give it to you."
With that, Emily pulled back the covers and crawled on top of Olivia, straddling her. She started to kiss Olivia fiercely, her hands roaming over her body, pulling her closer.
Olivia moaned as Emily continued to kiss her, feeling her body responding to Emily's touch. Emily's hands were strong, but gentle, and Olivia felt safe in her embrace.
As Emily continued to touch and kiss her, Olivia felt all her insecurities melting away. Emily showed her in that moment how much she belonged to her, and Olivia knew that she was never going to let go of that feeling.
