Chapter 2 Where am I?

"Faster put out the fire!" A man shouted in a stern voice. He pursed his lips and looked at the chaos that emerged.

"Prince Li! This is his Highness! Go call the Imperial Doctor!"

The man looks at where the voice sounded. He saw that an old man immediately came there and instructed them to carry the prince.

He looked around... Many houses were burnt, and some were still burning. People all over the place are crying, panicking, looting things, wounded, and dead. He couldn't believe that such a thing could happen.

Finally, his gaze stopped, and stared at the wrecked Moon Pavilion. If only... If only those people can control themselves and their lower half. If only they didn't attend such a thing. The man sighed and continued to instruct and help to put out the fire.

Not far from the man is General Heng. General Heng wasn't the best General or worst. But he should have been in the show too. However, his wife's pregnant belly suddenly burst in pain. It wasn't her month yet and is the first child. He couldn't go to the show because of it. Now he feels that the child is blessed, he was saved and is still alive because of it.

The only problem is, the country is about to fall. He knew well that the emperor, crown prince, and three other princes came to the show. The emperor's body, the crown prince, and 5th prince have been found dead. Two other princes are in critical condition. The 3rd, 4th, 8th, and 10th princes are the only princes alive. 3rd is too greedy and stingy, 4th is mute, and the 8th, as well as the 10th, are only 3 years old. They might fight with each other with the use of their maternal families, which will cause more damage to the country.

"General Heng! There's a letter from General Min! It is urgent." General Heng took the letter and opened it as he went inside the temporary tent.

Meanwhile, not far from the Li Country armies from Hu Northern Country are getting ready to fight and take every piece of Li's land.

General Min who is on the border of the Li country is getting ready to fight. He knows this will be his one last fight.

"I don't know if you can still be called lucky," General Min's advisor said with a helpless smile.

"Lucky. At least I didn't die because my brain is all in my lower half." the advisor coughed at this statement.

General Min looks at his army that is already willing to die for the country, "We will die for the country."

"We still might have a chance. The country after all has 10 generals, only 5 are in the capital. Although 3 are too far from the border, they might be able to come here in 30 days. General Jun should be fighting on his side. We should endure as much as we can." The advisor sighed. He said those things but even he doesn't believe they could endure 30 days. They didn't have anything to support them for 30 days, no food or a restock of armor and weapons.

"General!!" A soldier ran joyfully and saluted them as he passed the letter. "General Heng is alive, he didn't go to that show!"

Both the general and his advisor were stunned and immediately took the paper and went to their tent.

The emperor is holding a glass of wine smiling happily as he hugs his concubines.

"The Empress has arrived!" The door opens and the concubines immediately stand up and walk out.

He beckons his empress while laughing proudly. "Ah, my Empress. You have come!"

"My daughter has died. The plan has succeeded." The Empress only said those words not even greeting the emperor but he was already used to it and knew what she wanted.

"Someone! Come to Zhen!" The Emperor waves his hand.

"Yes, Your majesty!" The eunuch who has always been by the emperor's side steps up.

"Zhen declares to make my Empress Son, Hu Yulin, the crown prince!"

The Empress bowed towards the emperor, "Thanking the Emperor." Then immediately went out.

The emperor's smile went away and sneered. "Such a ruthless mother. Sending her child to an enemy land and becoming a prostitute. Planning for so long and killing her only daughter to make that son of hers become a crown prince. How naive. Does she think it's easy to live as a crown prince? Heh." The emperor stood up and left the main hall.

Huli Jing breathes heavily, she feels pain all over her body and couldn't open her eyes. Is this her punishment? Huli Jing knew she had sinned. But she was born to carry these sins.

She feels burnt out. From childhood to the present, her life mission was to gather all high officials and if possible generals into one place and blow them up. Step by step someone was there to teach her, supervise, and brainwash her. Having sex multiple times was the worst thing that she was forced to do. Still, her days were numbered. The day that letter came, was the day she knew that everything would finally end.

All her thoughts were halted as the heat on her body rose. She kept on crying silently until someone shook her. 'I'm alive? No, even if I am alive, I will for sure be killed.'

Huli Jing fought to open her eyes and when she did it was too blurry. The person in front of her wiped her tears. When her eyes were cleared, she saw a handsome man, and couldn't help but stare at him.

The man was speaking a lot and looked so worried. But Huli Jing couldn't understand him. She blinked and finally noticed that the man who is in front of her has furry ears!

'Who is this man? What are those ears? Why does he have that?' Huli Jing panicky looks around. Everything looks big and unfamiliar. 'Where am I?'
