Chapter 52: Chapter 52 Don’t Have Clothes (2)

Painful whimpers sounded, this caught the attention of Hu'er. "Dada, will they be okay?" Hu'er feels so scared of how the four look.

It's tragic. The four cubs whom she always is with, playing and running around are all in pain. They are in front of the tree of life as people watch them, but no one helps. She sniffed, eyes tearing up. Hu'er knows that no one really could help. If they could, they would have done it already.

"Yes, they will be fine." Based on Jiu Hu's tone, this is not a big deal. He is much more worried about how Hu'er reacted than the pain the four cubs are in.

"We all go through the pain. Even if it's painful we must endure. Everything will be worth it because we can now transform. That's all it matters," Min He added, coaxing Hu'er at the same time.

"I don't want to watch anymore." Hu'er closed her eyes but the whimpers of the four cubs are making her ears twitch as she shivers. Hu'er could see it but she could remember how they squirmed on the dirt and how the bones looked broken and dislocated.

"Hmm. Just put your head on my shoulder. You can't watch the next one either." Jiu Hu changes the way he is holding Hu'er, making sure that Hu'er won't see the next scene. Min He helps Hu'er by covering her ears.

"Why?" Hu'er muttered. Even though Hu'er can open her eyes now and wouldn't see the four cubs, she doesn't want to, too afraid to do so.

"You will see something you shouldn't see if you do so," Jiu Hu chuckles, making Hu'er feel the vibration of his chest.

"Oh?" One of her eyes opened and looked at Jiu Hu. Interested in what she shouldn't see. She's always interested in that kind of a topic. Opening her other eye, wanting to see if they could let her be more interested.

He laughed at her and put his hands on her eyes. "No peeking." Jiu Hu could feel Hu'er's eyelashes going up and down, which made him chuckle.

"When it's the first transformation we don't have clothes. An elder will teach us how we can transform our fur into a cloth and transform it into a man's form with clothes in an instant," Min He explained as he watched the four cubs gain a human form. It started from their fingers and slowly changed their whole body and head.

She was about to teasingly take her Dada's hand away from her eyes but stopped herself. Hu'er body twitches when she hears a crack of bone. To distract herself she asks, "How many days before brothers can learn it?"

"At most a hundred, the latest is twenty days." Lu Yang and the rest put on the four newly transformed clothes. They were quite struggling as the four kept on falling.

"That long?" Hu'er could hear the rustling of clothes. Her ear twitched at where the sound was. Min He smiles as he puts down his hands. The four can now balance themselves.

"Yes, because they need to learn how to walk too. You can look at your brother now." It was just in time that the four cubs ran toward them.

Hu'er turns around and saw the four little children, "Cute…" She couldn't help but stop speaking but giggled. They are so funny to watch. They kept on falling on the ground as they ran toward her. One of them even accidentally tripped the other one. The two helped them. Now they are waddling cautiously towards Hu'er.

When they are already in front of her, the excitement couldn't be contained. Waving their hands as they greet her, "Hu'er!" And then, they fell again. This time Hu'er giggles turn to laughs that are so loud making her tear up from happiness. They couldn't help but laugh too. The four children with cute ears that are twitching and tails that are waggling, stare at her with shine in their eyes, while sitting on the ground.

"Sticky little beastmen wanting to get my granddaughter to favor you as soon as you transform." They all look back to see an old female whose eyes are shining, her lips are grinning, and happily rushing toward them. Her words are like that yet the way she acts made everyone realize how happy she is to see the four cubs transformed already.

"Old mom," they greeted. Lu Yang and others helped the four to stand up, holding them to make sure they wouldn't fall.

"Hu'er greet your grandmom." Jiu Hu taps her cheeks.

"Grandmom." She smiles at her and waves, this made her grandmom chuckle.

She went closer to Hu'er. "En. Grandmom misses Hu'er." She caresses her face gently. Her eyes are full of maternal love. 

Hugging her grandmom's arms she coquettishly said, "Hu'er miss grandmom too."

"What a sweet little female." Gently squishing her face, she then looks at the four cubs. "Lu Yang got some great cubs. They even transformed at the same time. Sadly, I'm late and didn't see it. Come, come, you four, let this old female see you." She beckons them.

Lu Yang helped the four walk to their grandmom. "Go on, greet your grandmom."

Pinching every one of them, she compliments, "Very handsome. Here, a gift. Choose wisely. This will be your first weapon"

Each of them was given a bow and arrow, sword, hammer, axe, spear, and three daggers. It is a little tradition for them to let the newly transformed cubs choose their weapon that was given by the tribe leader.

Lu Yin chose a sword, Lu Min immediately picked up the three daggers, Lu Cheng got his sword, and Lu Wen hugged the axe. "Thank you, old mom."

"Great, great!" She happily pats their head.

"Let's go home, you've seen them." Tribe Leader gently took her hands.

"You guys do your thing. This old female will go now." Waving at them as she follows her mate.

"Bye, Grandmom." Hu'er waves her hand too.

"Bye, my little Hu'er."
