Chapter 6: Special 2

It has been a month since Xiao Le started dating Gao Tian, the previously mysterious CEO of T Company. Now that Gao Tian has revealed his identity, everyone wants to know about him. T Company's stocks went up too because everyone was shocked that the successful T Company is actually run by someone so young, capable and handsome. 

Everyone in the company is also curious but wary of Gao Tian who is known to be ruthless. To help Gao Tian maintain his image and the reputation of T Company, his marketing team suggested they hold a banquet. Gao Tian could use the opportunity to do a formal introduction and also it would be a way to reward the staff. Gao Tian agreed. All the staff were informed and invitations were also sent to some partner companies. 

Of course Xiao Le also knew about this company dinner. But Xiao Le asked Gao Tian, "Could I go with Xiao Gui instead?" 

Many in the company knew that Gao Tian is dating Xiao Le but Xiao Le was still unused to the limelight of dating the CEO. Xiao Le thought Gao Tian would reject the idea. But surprisingly, he agreed. He arranged for Xiao Le and Xiao Gui to come separately in a different car. 

Xiao Le and Xiao Gui went shopping to buy tuxedos. The both of them looked really handsome but cute all dressed up. On the night of the dinner, the car arrives at Xiao Gui's new apartment to pick them up. Xiao Le texts Gao Tian that they are on their way. He had last seen Gao Tian this morning before going to Xiao Gui's place to prepare. 

Gao Tian does not reply and Xiao Le is a little disappointed. But maybe… he is really busy. The car reaches the venue. Together with Xiao Gui, Xiao Le enters the expensive looking ballroom that had been booked at a 5 star hotel. Many people had already arrived and there were even some reporters. 

"Our department is sitting over there." Xiao Gui points to a table at the corner where their team members are.

As they walk to the table, Xiao Le keeps looking around for Gao Tian but does not see him. At the table, the New Director and their colleagues quickly invite Xiao Le and Xiao Gui to sit down. 

Xiao Le checks his phone again as they sit down but there is still no new message. Xiao Le pouts in disappointment. Was Gao Tian upset that they did not come together? But in the morning… they had done that again… 

At that time, there is a small stage in front and an emcee comes up to announce that the Gao family will be entering soon. Xiao Le straightens up and exchanges glances with Xiao Gui. Everyone else has the same curious look. Gao family? Does it mean the whole Gao family? 

And indeed, it is. The door opens and Gao Tian enters but he is pushing a wheelchair with an elderly man sitting inside. Beside them, a very beautiful looking and classy woman is walking beside them. Her features… looks just like Gao Tian! 

Xiao Le is momentarily distracted by how handsome Gao Tian looks. He looks even more handsome in a tuxedo tonight. Then, Xiao Gui nudges Xiao Le's arm. 

"Seems like you will get to meet your in-laws tonight." Xiao Gui whispers.

Xiao Le, "!!!" 

The event starts with Gao Tian giving a short speech to introduce himself and inviting everyone to enjoy the night. After which, dinner is served to the different tables. Xiao Le does not have much appetite and keeps glancing at the table in front where Gao Tian is sitting with his family and Xie Min. 

"Hey, why don't you just go over and introduce yourself?" Xiao Gui says as he sips the expensive wine. 

"But Gao Tian did not ask me to!" Xiao Le pouts. 

"The two of you are already living together! This step of meeting his parents is a sooner or later thing. Just go and say hi! Taking initiative will be good!" 

"Uh…" Xiao Le wasn't too certain but he ended up listening to Xiao Gui. Maybe Gao Tian is waiting for him to take the initiative…  

So, he gets up and starts walking to the table Gao Tian is at. But as Xiao Le is not focused, he accidentally bumps into someone who is carrying a drink!

“Sorry!” Xiao Le immediately apologizes to the man before him as he stares in dismay at the wine stain on the expensive looking white tuxedo. “Let me help you clean it!” Xiao Le pulls out a handkerchief he has in his pocket and starts to help the man wipe the stain. 

The man chuckles and stops Xiao Le. “Hey, hey, it’s okay.” 

Xiao Le pauses and looks up at the man before him (Xiao Le: Why is everyone so tall!!!). The man looks like he is slightly older than Xiao Le and he is really good-looking. Almost as good looking as Gao Tian… 

The man smiles at Xiao Le warmly, “It is really okay. It was an accident.” 

But Xiao Le still feels bad. “But your tuxedo… the stain…” 

The man is still smiling. “I can send it for dry cleaning. It’s no big deal.” 

Xiao Le immediately says earnestly, “Ah! Then let me pay for the drycleaning fee! Please! Or I will feel really bad.” 

The man is amused by how sincere Xiao Le is. And he is the third person, including Gao Tian to find this person really interesting. The man nods slowly. “Okay, if you insist. Maybe we can exchange contact numbers? When I have the receipt, I will call you.” 

Our naive Xiao Le of course agrees and takes out his phone right away. “My name is Xiao Le. Here, can you key in your number and I will give you a missed call…” 

The man takes the phone and enters his number. “Xiao Le, my name is Zi Wei.” He hands Xiao Le back the phone. 

“Promise me you will call me once you get the receipt. I will definitely pay for it!” Xiao Le is still very apologetic. 

Zi Wei smiles at the guy who seems genuinely nice. “I will.” 

Just as Xiao Le is about to apologize again, the emcee makes an announcement. “Good evening everyone, we hope that you are enjoying yourself. Now, our founder and ex-CEO, Mr Gao would like to greet everyone.” 

The emcee moves to hand the microphone to Gao Tian’s father sitting in the wheelchair. Even as an elderly, Mr Gao had good looks and you know that his son got it from him. 

“Good evening everyone.” Mr Gao addresses everyone in the room. “Thank you all for coming. I am very glad tonight that my son, Gao Tian has finally introduced himself formally. And we hope T Company will continue soaring with the support of all our staff and partners. Tonight we would also like to announce another good news. That is the engagement of my son, Gao Tian and Zi Min of the Zi family and Z Company.” 

“Ah they decide to announce my sister’s engagement.” Zi Wei chuckles. That’s right, he is the CEO of Z Company and Zi Min is his sister. Their companies have always been close business partners. But Zi Wei himself has never really met Gao Tian. The engagement had been set two weeks ago. Their fathers wanted to strengthen their business relationship. 

Xiao Le freezes. His eyes move to look at Gao Tian. And he realizes for the first time tonight Gao Tian is actually sitting beside a very beautiful young lady and she had her arm wrapped around his. 

Xiao Le is slowly finding it hard to breathe. Is he dreaming? 

“Xiao Le, are you okay?” Zi Wei asks worriedly. 

Xiao Le turns back to Zi Wei slowly. “Huh… what? Why would you ask that?”

Zi Wei is now really worried for this young man he just met. “Because you’re crying. Are you okay?” 

“Uh…” Xiao Le doesn’t know how to answer him. He just found out the boyfriend he is living with is engaged to someone else… and Xiao Le realizes he is indeed crying. “I… I need to get out of here…” 

Zi Wei immediately nods. Honestly, he is a little attracted to Xiao Le already and he feels the need to help him. It pains him a little to see someone so adorable like Xiao Le crying. “Okay, then let’s go, alright?” 

Xiao Le nods and he lets Zi Wei lead him out of the ballroom through a side door, away from the horrible truth he was just hit with.

"Xiao Le!!" 

Xiao Le and Zi Wei made it to the carpark when a loud shout stopped them. They turn in shock to see Gao Tian running towards them. 

Gao Tian reaches Xiao Le and grabs his arm, pulling Xiao Le to him. He notices that Xiao Le is crying and for the first time in his life, he feels like his heart is about to shatter. He has never seen Xiao Le cry before and he hates it. Especially when he knows he is the reason. 

"Gao Tian, you…" Zi Wei is confused. 

Wasn't Gao Tian with his sister? Why did he run after Xiao Le? And Gao Tian is known to be a very cold and ruthless person but now as he stares at Xiao Le, he looks a little frantic. Zi Wei is a smart man too. Is Xiao Le someone special to him? 

Gao Tian does not even care about Zi Wei's presence, he grabs Xiao Le and starts dragging him away. Xiao Le is completely confused but he still follows Gao Tian. They leave behind an extremely baffled Zi Wei. 

Xiao Le: He ran after me…. 

Gao Tian drags Xiao Le to his car and makes Xiao Le get in the front passenger seat. He gets in the driver seat in a hurry. Gao Tian drives at a crazy speed back to their home, feeling extremely agitated. 

Xiao Le is still quiet because he is very confused. Gao Tian does not say anything either because he is still trying to control his emotions after seeing Xiao Le follow another man and Xiao Le's tears. The sight of Xiao Le following another man really made his possessiveness explode. 

When they stopped the car, Gao Tian tugs Xiao Le out of the car and drags him all the way into the lift. He swipes the card for their penthouse apartment. The moment the lift door closes, Xiao Le squeaks in surprise as Gao Tian presses him against the wall roughly and kisses him aggressively!! 

Xiao Le is completely at Gao Tian's mercy as he lets Gao Tian's tongue tangle with his own fiercely. Xiao Le has always been weak to Gao Tian's kisses. Such a passionate kiss, even more so. Xiao Le clings on to the front of Gao Tian's tuxedo jacket as his knees grow weaker.

Soon, the elevator makes a ding sound, signalling that they have arrived on their floor. Gao Tian pulls back from the kiss only to carry Xiao Le up in his arms. Xiao Le's head is completely muddled from the kiss as he lets Gao Tian carry him into the apartment and to the bedroom. Gao Tian tosses Xiao Le down on their bed and covers Xiao Le's body with his larger one, trapping Xiao Le. 

Xiao Le stares up into Gao Tian's dark eyes breathlessly. Gao Tian… looks even more mesmerising like this!! 

"I will explain everything. You must listen to me, okay?" Gao Tian says in a low voice. He needs Xiao Le to know the truth. 

Xiao Le nods slowly. He wants to know the truth too. Is his boyfriend really engaged? But Gao Tian is engaged, why did Gao Tian run after him? Bring him back to their home? Kiss him so passionately? 

Gao Tian explains everything: He did not know about the engagement. It was set 2 weeks ago behind his back by his father. Tonight was the first time he saw Zi Min and his father had made the announcement without his knowledge. Gao Tian wanted to introduce Xiao Le to his parents as his partner but before he could do so, his father made the announcement. Gao Tian saw Xiao Le leaving the ballroom with Zi Wei and he went crazy. He ignored his parents, Zi Min and everyone else to run after Xiao Le. 

"You're the first and only person I have fallen in love with. I will never, ever let you go! You belong to me!" Gao Tian adds fiercely and his tone is underlying with darkness.

Instead of being scared, Xiao Le is happy. Very happy. He is very happy to hear that Gao Tian loves only him. He smiles slowly and gently touches Gao Tian's cheek. “You’re the only person I have fallen in love with too…” 

Being an orphan, Xiao Le didn’t know what true love was. Not until he met Gao Tian. 

Gao Tian feels like at that moment, he could stop breathing. And he only had one thought: Remind Xiao Le that they only belong to each other. 

Gao Tian dipped his head and started biting and sucking Xiao Le’s lips urgently and aggressively. He forces his tongue between Xiao Le’s lips and Xiao Le is immediately in sync. They make out passionately. As they do, Gao Tian pulls at Xiao Le’s clothes. Instinctively, Xiao Le does the same to Gao Tian’s clothes. It does not take them long to both get completely naked. As their tongues continue to tangle furiously, Gao Tian moves his fingers up to Xiao Le’s chest and teases the sensitive nipples, making Xiao Le moan out in pleasure.

Their mouths only part reluctantly for Gao Tian to grab the lube and a condom. Gao Tian prepares Xiao Le impatiently with his fingers and Xiao Le’s breathing is also erratic. When Gao Tian finally loses his patience, he pulls on a condom hastily and slams into Xiao Le, making him cry out. Gao Tian’s thrusts are hard, and fueled with possessiveness. “This better be important.” Gao Tian warns as he uses his other hand to pull Xiao Le back into his arms. Xiao Le snuggles up to Gao Tian and tries to listen to the conversation too.

“I am sorry for disturbing you, Boss.” Xie Min is a little scared of Gao Tian’s tone. He had called at the wrong time. “But… your parents, they are demanding you come to your family home now. The Zi Family are there and they want an explanation for your sudden disappearance last night. I think they are upset because Ms Zi was hurt…”

Gao Tian scowls. “I don’t care how she feels.” He glances at Xiao Le who is frowning in confusion. Gao Tian only cares about how one person feels now. He knows he needs to settle this mess or Xiao Le will keep getting hurt. 

Gao Tian adds to Xie Min, “But if my parents want me to come over, I will. And I need you to do something for me.”

“Anything, Boss.”

“Provide me with Z Company’s financial records. Find all their other stakeholders, buy out all the remaining shares. Do whatever needs to be done. You have one hour.” Gao Tian orders.

Xie Min is stunned. He knows Gao Tian’s plan now. He wants to completely own Z Company so that his parents cannot force him into the marriage. Gao Tian is indeed ruthless. But Xie Min is also relieved… because of the engagement news yesterday, Xiao Gui had almost killed him because Xiao Gui was worried Xiao Le would get hurt. Plus, Xie Min likes Xiao Le because Xiao Le is good for Gao Tian.

So, Xie Min would do anything to help Gao Tian. Plus, Xie Min is a capable assistant. “I will get it done right away and update you, Boss.” 

“Good.” 

Gao Tian hangs up the phone and Xiao Le sits up to ask him curiously. Xiao Le did not really understand the conversation earlier so he asks, “Is everything okay?” 

Gao Tian hugs him tightly. “Yeah, you just need to promise me one thing.” 

Xiao Le looks up at him with large eyes and nod. “Anything.” 

Gao Tian gives one of his rare smiles that is only reserved for Xiao Le. “Stay by my side and trust me.” 

Xiao Le smiles too. “I will.” 

Gao Tian is relieved. “Good, then now, let’s go meet my parents and clear this up.” 

Xiao Le: How many times must I go !!!! in this chapter?!

Xiao Le follows Gao Tian back to his family’s home. Xiao Le’s eyes widen when he sees it. It is a mansion!! Xiao immediately feels out of place, especially in his oversized white tee-shirt, jeans and sneakers. He can’t help but shrink back a little. 

Gao Tian notices it and wraps one arm around Xiao Le’s waist. “Be confident. I need you to support me.”

Hearing that, Xiao Le immediately straightens up and nods with determination. Yes!! He had to be confident for Gao Tian’s sake. Gao Tian said to stay by his side. Gao Tian smiles to himself at how adorable his little wife is. They hold hands and walk into his family’s home together. A butler even greets them professionally.

“Where are my parents?” Gao Tian cuts to the chase. 

The butler simply nods politely. “Master and Madam have been waiting for you in the sitting room.” 

Gao Tian tugs Xiao Le along to confront his parents. As they walk down the hallway, Xiao Le can’t be helped but be amazed by the expensive decorations and furniture. They enter the large sitting room and immediately, all eyes land on them. Other than Gao Tian’s parents, the Zi Family were also present. Mr and Mrs Zi, Zi Min and Zi Wei…. 

Zi Wei’s eyes widen at the sight of Xiao Le. Last night, he had figured out that Xiao Le is probably in a relationship with Gao Tian but he did not expect Gao Tian to bring Xiao Le along today. It means Gao Tian is really serious. And they are even holding hands openly. Zi Wei feels a little dismayed. This means… he does not stand a chance?

“Ah Tian, who is this stranger?” Gao Tian’s father, sitting in his wheelchair asks sternly while glaring at Xiao Le.

Xiao Le looks around and realizes everyone is giving him unfriendly looks. Especially the girl… Gao Tian’s supposed fiance. But only one person who was smiling at him little. Ah! Zi Wei! Xiao Le is someone of a very simple nature, so if someone smiles at him, he would naturally smile back.

But before Xiao Le can smile back at him too, Gao Tian tugs Xiao Le into his embrace and hugs him tightly. Of course Gao Tian saw everything and there is no way he will let his little wife smile at another man. Especially the man that Xiao Le almost ran off with!

“This is not a stranger. This is my man.” 

Gao Tian’s actions and words cause everyone to react. His parents look extremely livid. Mr and Mrs Zi look appalled. Zi Wei grimaces while Zi Min looks like she is about to faint. Her supposed fiance… likes men?

“Ah Tian! What is the meaning of this!” Mrs Gao screeches. 

Xiao Le flinches in Gao Tian’s arms but Gao Tian is unfazed. 

“I love him. He is the only person I love.” Gao Tian says calmly.

“You….” Mr Gao is sputtering. “I didn’t raise you to be abnormal! To like another man!” Mr Gao roars, shaking in anger in his wheelchair.

However, his son simply quirks an eyebrow. “But you have never raised me. I was raised by the housekeeper and maids.” 

“You..!!!” Mr Gao is about to have a heart attack thanks to his own son!

At that moment, Xie Min arrives. He stops beside Gao Tian. “Boss. I have it ready.” Xie Min is holding a brown file in his hands.

Gao Tian nods. Then, he lets Xiao Le go only to take the file. Xiao Le is curious as to what was in the file. But he just listens quietly because Gao Tian said to trust him. 

“Anyway, I am not here to ask for permission or even your blessings.” Gao Tian says with a cold smirk. “You do things behind my back, I will return the favour. I have bought 40% of Z Company’s shares and am now your biggest shareholder. Technically, I now own Z Company.”

Everyone, even Xiao Le, “!!!!!” 

Zi Wei is now angered. Zi Wei: The rumours were true. This guy is really ruthless… How the hell did someone innocent like Xiao Le fall for him? 

Gao Tian hands the file back to Xie Min. “But I will leave Z Company’s operations as it be and continue to let CEO Zi,” He nods at Zi Wei, “helm it. Leave Xiao Le and me alone or I will turn nasty. That’s it.” When he finishes saying those words, he grabs Xiao Le’s hand and tugs him to leave. “Let’s go.” 

Xiao Le nods and follows him, with Xie Min following them quietly at the back. They leave everyone else remaining in shock. 

Once they exit the house, Gao Tian praises Xie Min. “You did well.”

“It is my duty, Boss.” Xie Min nods with a smile. 

Gao Tian dismisses Xie Min and drives Xiao Le back to their house. Once they are back home, he tells Xiao Le that he is hungry since they have not eaten yet. Like a cute, virtuous wife, Xiao Le immediately rushes to cook for him a simple lunch. Gao Tian sits at the dining table and watches Xiao Le with a satisfied smile. Why would he want anyone else when he already has the best? 

As they eat their lunch, Xiao Le finally speaks up. “So your family…”

“They will leave us alone, don’t worry.” Gao Tian says. He is confident that his family is now terrified of him. 

Xiao Le nods slowly. “But, are you okay? To sour the relationship...” He is asking Gao Tian genuinely because he is worried about Gao Tian. 

Gao Tian is touched by Xiao Le’s worry and is very grateful. He is so glad he found Xiao Le in this life. “There is no relationship in the first place.” Gao Tian explains. “But it is okay, I have a family now. And that’s you.” 

Xiao Le’s heart melts at those words too. So he beams cutely as Gao Tian while piling Gao Tian’s plate with food. Gao Tian gives one of his smiles that is only reserved for Xiao Le. They continue eating surrounded in an atmosphere of domestic bliss and sweetness.

Yes, Xiao Le had been an orphan but now he has a family too and it is Gao Tian. They started their own family to be happy together forever.
