Looking through the long list of skills, three of them caught his eye at the first moment namely the ones displayed above.

He immediately thought that they were exactly what he needed at the moment because the only fighting skills he had at the moment were the Basic animalistic ones, which were not that effective to be honest.

These three skills on the other hand perfectly incorporated what he needed at the moment.

So being decisive as he was, he directly selected all three skills [Poisonous Black Mist; Shadow Thorns; Shadow binding] and straight away a window appeared.

Coming back to his senses, he was feeling rather great, now that he had these new skills, but it occurred to him that he still needed a type of investigation skill, or technique for various purposes like recognizing plants materials and other important things.

Thinking like that he immediately reopened the just closed [System Shop] and searched for investigation type of skills in the [Search bar]. Just before he could feel an ounce of happiness by seeing so many skills lined up one after another, the price of even the cheapest skill was not something he could consider at the moment.

"Damn, what the hell? Why is even this basic ocular technique so expensive!" Thiago cursed while looking at the sky-high price of 1400 [System points] noted above said technique.

What he did not know was, that ocular and pupil techniques were rather rare in the outside world and a price of just 1400 [System points] could not be considered high at all. Well thinking like this, nothing could be said to be expensive for Thiago, because already having the ability to buy everything no matter what just with a virtual and illusory currency like [System points], was heaven defying.

Anyways, realizing that buying an investigation type of Skill could only be postponed for now, he was just about top close the [System shop] for the nth time today, when he suddenly remembered having read about a certain technique in a novel on Earth before. This technique was called in many different ways in different novels for example Divine sense, spiritual awareness, soul sense, divine consciousness, spiritual sense and many more, but in the essence they all worked on the same principle and had the same functions most of the time.

The technique was used for the sensing of a person's surroundings and in many cases also to move objects just with your thoughts, so it was an extremely useful technique.

Just thinking about it, made Thiago full of Vigor and he really hoped that such a technique existed in the [System Shop].

One may think at an early juncture that he is a masochist and likes the thought of having to endure incredible amounts, and levels, of pain, but Thiago is obviously no masochist and just likes the idea of being able to quickly improve his soul's power and thereby also getting a soul sense in return.

Another important reason for his decision was naturally the extremely badass name, because who wouldn't like to have a technique with a really cool sounding name in his possession and would rather take one with a boring name, he obviously wouldn't do such a thing. Although he was a little afraid of the pain that would be coming ion hands with him cultivating this art, he waited no longer and selected this art to be bought.

Looking around the cave after averting his gaze from the system panel he noticed that it was still bright inside which in return indicated that not much time had passed at all while he was being engrossed inside his [System Shop] and buying various new skills and important key information about his surroundings and Red Star in general.

This made him exultant because it also meant that he still had lots of time to test a few of his new skills in broad daylight, because even though he did not fear the dark, he still liked it more to fight while it was daytime. Not that it made much difference in the lighting inside the forest because the trees were too dense and not much light could enter at all, so it was rather dim at all times.

Standing up he stretched his sore legs a little and then sauntered towards the exit of the cave, where he forthwith saw Faye lying boredly on the cave floor, looking as if she did not know what to do with her life.

Regarding her, Thiago actually had no idea yet what to do with her in the long term, because he was sure that he would be leaving the forest as soon as he had cultivated his human form, and travel the human territory. He couldn't just take her with him, could he?

A few minutes later we could see him in a clearing of the forest....
