Chapter 3: Chapter 2: Improvement

Selene was hanging upside down Ina branch of a tree, you could see her arms broken, her eyes were bleeding. She was launched by the Bloodhound who knocked her out, and even destroyed her bones multiple times.

It has already been 3 days since the start of her training and the pain still hasn't subsided, but she could last for more than 1 minute this time. The training is slow, but as long there is progress they're on the right track. 

"Considering you're still having problems, now come on, stand up." Aurelius ordered her, which Selene's body was so used to being beat down, that her body slowly regenerate faster. 

Her broken bones slowly reattached, her ability to adapt is ridiculous. He had expected such a performance the moment she was determined to survive and change the kingdom. 

But this kind of development wasn't a part of his plan, but this kind of result just made him smile with such euphoria. 'She's definitely a treasure that needs to be protected at all cost.' His thoughts were in a side of overprotective of his treasure, but this time he needs to let her go, the moment she's ready to become strong and orchestrate her revenge. 

Selene's body is slowly gaining strength, as she regains her consciousness. "You goddamn mutt!" She shouted in anger, as her personality slowly became akin to a reckless behavior, but she hasn't gone berserk yet. 

Aurelius just claps as her remarks of provoking the Bloodhound, her courage knows no bounds.

"Good, just keep doing that." He added.

Selene's body has returned to normal, but she's low on blood as she had bled so much earlier, as the wounds haven't closed off and haven't regenerated yet.

"Bloodhound, attack." He ordered, as Selene's weak body, even her clothes were rugged, only Aurelius was supplying her with clothes using his own blood spell to create a material.

Blood Spell, a Blood spell is only akin to vampires, as they use their own blood to generate magic, the more blood they have. The stronger and the longer they can last to use their spell. 

Blood Spells aren't the only spell, as they are multiple ones. The Normal Magic Spell is from the Humans that uses nature to cast a spell. 

Mana spells are more versatile, as they require nothing but Mana to cast, but the moment the entire area of nature has been depleted, the Mana spell is nothing more than a dead magic. 

Which almost everyone uses, as someone needs to be careful when it comes to using one. Vampires can use Mana spell, but their arrogance and superior complex doesn't let themselves be low to use a Mana spell. Hence why they use their own blood for a spell as they're more powerful, but harder to achieve. 

Blood Spells are almost exactly like Mana spells, but Blood spells specialize in blood magic, regeneration, enhancement, summon, and dominant magic. 

They could still chant basic spells like fire, wind, Terra, and lastly water.

The Bloodhound rushed towards Selene as if it wanted to skewer her again. Especially the bloodhound called a mutt, which it dislikes. "Come on then Mutt!" She shouted, her eyes were still blind but she got used to being beat down while her eyes were closed. 

She could feel the sensation of vibration, she had gained the ability to sense echolocation. She could hear the loud footsteps, as the loud vibration from the ground created a figure inside her mind, a giant 1 meter wolf bloodhound. 

"I can see you now!" She slightly evaded without rolling, she adjusted her body as the Bloodhound lunged itself in the air. 

"You damn mutt!" She grabs the neck of the Bloodhound, and slammed it to the ground creating a crater the size of the wolf's head.

She grabs it and pulls it closer and slam it to the ground. She did it multiple times to the point where the head of the Bloodhound is unrecognizable, she killed a bloodhound using a brutal yet effective way.

"I- Finally! Killed! You! You! Goddamn! Mutt!" Selene fell unconscious on the floor, with a dead bloodhound which dispersed into a blood-like state.

"Congrats Ms. Selene, now we can up the difficulty next time you wake up, but of course. I will make your body even stronger." He bit his own finger, as the blood dripped in his finger, as he gave her a drop of blood into her mouth.

"The more you consume my blood, the more powerful you can be. But of course, that alone wouldn't make you stronger." He added.

Aurelius was smiling mischievously, as the progress was so much better than before. "I don't care how long I will train you, but I will make you stronger than before!" He declared with such confidence.

Hours had passed, as the whole body of Selene had already been restored to its former strength. Selene's body twitches, wanting to wake up from her sleep.

She abruptly stood up the moment she opened her eyes and was greeted by Aurelius who was sitting beside her. 

"Master?" 

"You're finally awake, since you already killed one of my bloodhounds, the 7 days of being blind is already considered a pass. You feel the power to sense location by sheer vibration or a sound in your head doesn't it?" 

Selene nodded, which (Y/N) just smiled genuinely, he was proud that she was able to reach that level.

"Now then the next phase, of course you wouldn't be blind. Except…"

"Except for what?"

"Because you're going to need a handful of experience in close combat." He answered, which he stood up.

"Now come, since you've finally recovered. Your ability to recover is faster than I expected, so this kind of training needs to be harsher next."

"So it's gonna be much harder now?"

"Yep, gimme your right hand." 

Selene then offered her right hand to Aurelius. "This is gonna hurt." He just added. 

Which made Selene's body shivered out of fear, the moment she blinked. Her right hand was severed from her body.

Aurelius was holding her entire right arm, which Selene just kneeled to the ground from the pain alone. "Grrrrrr!!!" She moaned in pain, as she almost collapsed out of death. 

"Grrrghhh!" She couldn't do anything but grunt in pain.

"Now this time, survive without using your other arm, I'll alternate between arms the moment you've recovered. I hope you had fun, my precious treasure." He added, while the right hand of Selene's was suddenly offered as a sacrifice. He chanted a powerful spell.

"Blood Summon: Vampiric Treant." 

A blood circle began to form in the ground, as blood circle slowly summoned a being that is a tree that is filled with crimson leaves, along with it's dreaded look, accompanied by a large hands that is made of wood, and lastly it's eyes were bloodshot.

"Now, evade all you can." He smiled.

While Selene stood up, her right shoulder was in pain due to the blood keeps flowing, as she's slowly consciousness due to blood loss. 

She could feel the vibration from the ground below, but it was so fast that she didn't even have the time to react to evade it. It was faster than the Bloodhounds speed.

The root of the treant emerges from the ground and turns into a spike that pierces the body of Selene, she couldn't evade it due to blood loss, her ability to think was hindered by it.

"Guh…" She spurts blood from her mouth, as the Roots of the treant pierced the majority of her organs, and even pierced her neck in the process. 

"Survive my precious vampire, Selene."

Aurelius smiled devilishly.
