AN- Will be busy tonight. So enjoy the early chapter.

When Kaisel returned to the kitchen, Gizelle and Patrica had patched Adui up nicely, he tell from the mana in the air that they had used the red crystal to heal. He clenched his fists with anger. These bitches used the crystal to heal him! Why don't these guys not understand the importance of the crystals? It seems I have to teach these guys a lesson. For now, he quelled his anger, he decided he would teach them a lesson afterward.

Still, the girls had used the crystal smartly, they only healed him to a certain extent, he was conscious now, all his major injuries had stabilized, and would be able to talk now. Like a waterfall, tears were constantly rolling down his cheeks, he looked pathetic, the confident and fearless Mage that impressed him had vanished, now sitting before him, was a broken man.

Drac started moving his lips, trying to say something, but no noise came out. Kaisel ignored his wordless mumbling. He threw the spatial pouch on his feet and showed him the cube. “This is a pretty interesting puzzle you got here, Drac,” he then bent forward and continued. “After I am done with you, I will take it as your remembrance.”

Drac, on the other hand, kept trying to say something, his lips fluttered, but he was ignored. Kaisel figured that he was probably apologizing. But it didn't matter to him, no matter what comes out of his mouth, he is going to die today. And nothing can change that.

He stood up straight. “Now, that you have been thoroughly punished, let's just move on to why we are here. I want to know what exactly you told those knights. I want to hear, word to word, the things you said.”

After he sat down on a chair brought by Patrica, he continued. “And let me make myself clear. I will use the seal on your chest to talk to you, I only want to hear about what you said. I don't want any apology nor do I want to hear your reasons for betrayal. I just want to hear what you said to them. No more, no less.”

Drac nodded his head, so he continued. “Also, I have full control of your seal. If you try to lie or decide to lie, then in for a world of pain my dear young mage. Do you understand?” he nodded again.

Kaisel signaled the ladies, Gizelle stepped up and then undid the silencing magic. Finally, Drac could speak now. “I dindt.. didn't… toll em any..thing…” after coughing a little bit, he continued. “They wanted to know… about Gizelle.. and the purpose of buying that land. I hid most of the information about the family from them… I only told them some bits of information”

Patrica then stepped forward. “What exactly did you tell them?”

“I told them, that Gizelle had recently joined a Mage family, and they want that land. I told them that this family is very rich and they gave me mana stones as payment to acquire that land. And I hinted that they are interested in opening a mage tower on that land.”

“What else?” Kaisel asked.

“I told them that Gizelle had hinted, that the land that I acquired is like the ancestral land to those people. That is why they were so adamant about buying it.”

Hm… He has not told them a lot, Kaisel thought. “The idea of Mage Tower, did they buy it?”

“They didn't at first. But they did buy it when I pointed out that our kingdom had nothing to offer them. Those people are not fools to spend their money on something useless. They want that land because it is their ancestral land and they want to build something there,”

Kaisel then silenced him once again using his seal, he closed his eyes and started thinking, about what could mean for them. Drac was a smart guy, he didn't blab about anything major, he had to give him that. Before he was panicking because the Royal Family knew their name, they could forward it to J.M.A, thus spoiling their plan. But he only gave out some information.

A part of him wanted to spare the man, he was smart and resourceful, and with proper training, he could be a great asset to him as well as the family. Wait, no. I cannot trust this man anymore. He had already spoiled our plans two times and that too unknowingly. My plans will not be able to bear any hiccups now. I cannot spare him. He has to die, he groaned with frustration. It was a real shame to lose a man of such caliber.

Drac could have been a very useful pawn, in his game, better than any woman that he had surrounded himself with. It was truly a shame to see him die.

It is then Drac mumbled. “I didn't tell them anything, please spare me,”

BAAM

Patrica slapped him. “Didn't you hear, he specifically said that you cannot beg.” Gizelle chuckled seeing his misery. Kaisel, on the other hand, looked at him warily, just a moment ago he had silenced him with his seal, he was sure of it. Then how did he speak?

He looked at Gizelle and Patrica, it didn't like they had noticed it, which was good. How did this fucker, undo the seal? Wait, does it mean that this fucker was not telling the truth, before? FUCK! I need to find someone else who could tell me what happened in that room.

Kaisel then shifted on his seat. “Tell me about the knights who were present when you were being interrogated.” Drac didn't respond, his eyes were closed, he looked unconscious.

BAAM

Patrica slapped him. “Open your eyes, princess.” That did open his eyes. Kaisel then repeated his question.

“There was Rodiger, the commander of the city watch. Then there was Jojo, he dressed as a beggar and there was a guy named Rupert.”

Gizelle then chimed in. “That beggar must be the guy that hangs around our house,”

Kaisel had seen the man, disguised as a beggar, that man keeps an eye on their manor. “Tell me about this Rupert, what does he look like?” he asked.

“Muscular man, around 6 feet 2 inches, I guess. Had a very bushy beard. And he has pink eyes. Like the lilac color.” He started thinking about what to do about these men, he wanted to interrogate them, without letting girls know that there is a way to break the seal.

What he failed to notice was Gizelle’s reaction, she stopped sipping wine from the bottle as she heard Rupert’s description. She put the bottle aside and came towards Drac.

“Are you sure that this Rupert guy has lilac eyes?” she asked. Her question got his attention

“Yeah.” She chuckled, hearing his answer. Seeing this, he couldn't help but ask. “ Do you know him?”

She nodded. “I may be wrong. But from what he had told me, I think that this Rupert guy must be Rupert Gorgon, the crown prince.”

Patrica widened her eyes. “The crown prince? Here?”

Still nodding, Gizelle added. “I am not sure either. But there is only one family in the whole mana wielder community of Gorgon kingdom that has lilac eyes.”.

A smile bloomed on Patrica’s face.“If the crown prince is in Laverdale right now, we start executing our plan right away, right?.”

Gizelle then was lost in deep thought for a second, then she added. “We can, but didn't we decide to use Howard for our plan? Now, should we switch? Everything is set up, we can capture Howard in a few days” Both of them then turned towards Kaisel, wanting to know his thoughts.

If we were to use the Crown Prince, then we could start our plan right away. Babies have grown up. As the Royal Family already knows about the Ulaspas family, they could inform the J.M.A at any time. The inheritance which I was looking for, is not here, I have searched every inch and that land, but still found nothing… Well, considering this situation, this could be our blessing in disguise, he thought.

After thinking about it, he then looked up. “Patrica, be a doll and find out where this crown prince is.” She nodded. “While Gizelle, I saw some herbs in one of the rooms. Quickly go and make a sleeping draught. We will poison Mr. Drac here and then set this house on fire.”

Baffled by his words, Gizelle protested. “Wait, you want to kill him with a sleeping draught? That would be a painless death. He wouldnt suffer”

He shook his head. “Well, useless as he was, he had helped us. He gave us the Crown Prince. And I appreciate that. At least we can give him a painless death.” He wanted to check the seal, which is why he wanted Gizelle to leave the room. Of course, he couldn't tell her that.

“You said I will get to torture him. This is not enough, I want to grind this man’s body into dust.” She said.

“Well, we cannot do that now. If we kill him in a brutal manner, then people would want to know why he died that way. It could raise many fingers at us. So I would rather not kill him that way.”

“But he is already messed up! People would know that someone tortured him.” She said.

“They won’t, not when his body has converted into a lump of charcoal.” He then snapped his fingers while glaring at them. “ Both of you have work to do, off you go.”

Both of them went their separate way. After making sure they were not spying on him, he made Drac unconscious and ripped open his shirt, and started inspecting the seal…

Gizelle when entered the room with all the plants lying around, she flipped. She recognized those plants, they were the same ones that she had ordered to destroy, yet there they were. She started boiling with anger, her servants didn't listen to her command, instead, they followed a sewer mutt like him, and she could not forgive that.

She started trashing the plants, crushing them under her feet, she hated them all. Soon she found the small plant whose roots were used to make the sleeping draught. She crushed the plant with her feet, she cannot let that guy die that easily. Instead, she started looking for a certain plant, and soon she found it.

It was a very small plant, it bears small red berries, the size of a nail. She took some of them and returned back. Kaisel was not there, so she took advantage of this opportunity, she grabbed unconscious Adui’s face and made him drink the crushed juice of the berries.

It is then that Kaisel came back. “All done?” She nodded. “Off you go then, I think Patrica might need some of your help.” He then turned around and started lighting the house on fire…

After making a round around the house, he came back. Drac was lying unconscious there, he then tossed the cube at his feet, and then sneaked out of the burning house.
