"Who said I'm a good person? Just because I did not kill the Patriarch or destroy his sect this time doesn't mean I won't in the future." As he spoke, Qian Ya's body suddenly started hovering in the air and then slowly floated closer to Xia Wei.

Meanwhile, from Xia Wei's point of view, when he heard her declaration, his massive Qi stopped in the mid air, the power he had exerted vanished into thin air.

He gazed at her and then proceeded to command the system. System, mark her. As soon as he commanded, he could feel a tiny part of his Qi leave his body and embed itself on Qian Ya's body without any problem.

"Old Ping." Xia Wei spoke. His friendly tone was replaced by a casual but superior tone. His eyes brows narrowed as he folded his hand.

A flash of shadow interrupted the flow between the bright silvery light from the moon, distorting the surrounding space as a figure emerged from thin air.

'Rather than an immortal, you look more like a ninja' Xia Wei commented inwardly after seeing how Old Ping appeared out of nowhere and kneel beside him.

"Yes, young master!" Old Ping, always ready for his master, respectfully answered while cupping his hands. Small leaves could be spotted on his Hanfu, clearly he was not too far from Xia Wei.

"You may stand up. I have a question, will you be able to prevent her soul from entering the cycle of reincarnation?" Xia Wei asked casually at Old Ping who lowered his head.

On the other hand, Qian Ya who heard his words, widened her delicate brown eyes at him. Her body started to be surrounded by the glimmering power of stars. Her unstable breathing slowed down as her eyes narrowed and fixed on him.

She looked at him with wariness while biting her lower lip to bleed as she seemed ready to sacrifice her life at any moment. Yet, her hands said otherwise, they were trembling with her body shivering like a scared cat.
