Chapter 67: CHAPTER 67: TIME DOMAIN

"I swear on my life to follow my true king, Kairi, Master of Stellars! With this, I discard my old name, Dark Reammut and will now be called by a new name! From now until my life is over, I am Tucana, one of the Bright Star users!"

 

"What?!" 

 

Everyone was shocked and a little taken aback to see Dark Reammut, who not only has wings but also her emblem chain that has turned white, indicating that she was now one of the Bright Star users.

 

The angels were confused. They also didn’t know anything going on in the mortal world but felt the change in Dark Reammut’s aura. Dark Reammut, who closed her eyes during her oath, opened her eyes again and pointed her right hand at Reviorxy. 

 

Immediately, all the longswords that were on her back split from the inner bone and moved forward. All the longswords fly above Revioryx in a circle rapidly before it dashes toward him. Not only that, the size of the small longsword had turned bigger than Revioryx size and embedded itself in the ground surrounding him. 

 

Five stellar fields appear to cage Revioryx in it. Each stellar field between the two longswords has the image of Tucana holding the clock harp with all its wings touching around the edge of the clock. 

 

Revioryx, who felt something was wrong, teleported to different places. But, wherever he went, all the stellar fields and the longswords followed.

 

"You can't escape, Revioryx! I will not allow you! Time Domain activate!" 

 

As soon as she commanded, all the fields' glows disappeared. Revioryx who was seen by them froze with his mouth open wide like he was roaring angrily but no sound was coming out of him. He also looked stiff in the field. Everyone around Dark Reammut couldn't believe what they saw and all their heads looked at her in amazement.

 

"Sir Andreit!" 

 

Andreit was startled when Dark Reammut called his name with honorifics. Just, why does it sound like she was gritting her teeth when she called him? It must be his imagination. He appeared in front of her.

 

"I don't think my power can hold him for a long time. Can you and other gods make a new portal to Hell?" She asked him.

 

Andreit was silent for a few moments before he nodded. He communicated with other angels through telepathy the moment he heard her request.

 

"All of us will be doing it now. But because our power has been used a lot we might need half an hour to open it. Can you hold on until then?" Andreit looked at her seriously.

 

Dark Reammut can't tell if she could do it. She was already under pressure because she could feel Revioryx was striking her Time Domain to break free.

 

"I will do my best! Please hurry!"

 

Andreit nodded. He was satisfied with her trust and determination. For this reason, he will give his respect to her. He left immediately to the air above Revioryx. Some other angels immediately gather on top as well. All their bodies glowed with auras of different colours while their hands were aimed toward Revioryx. 

 

Dark Reammut slowly landed on the ground while taking a deep breath. A small sweat has gathered on her forehead, showing her condition toward something pressuring her.

 

"Dark Reammut…?"

 

Dark Reammut turned her head toward Dark Amilia and Dark Ceilius. Their faces still have expressions of shock and disbelief while their eyes sometimes glance toward her emblem.

 

"I… I am Tucana." She said to them slowly. "But, I am still me." 

 

Meaning she won't change even if they don't want to call her Tucana. Inside, she was still Dark Reammut.

 

Dark Ceilius eyes trembled. 

 

"Damn it! I don't understand. How come…? How come you are one of them suddenly? Is what you say about Revioryx true?" He was confused.

 

Dark Reammut folded her hands. She raised one eyebrow at him. 

 

"Which one?"

 

"All of it! Dark Reammut, how did you know?!" Dark Amilia cut in.

 

Dark Reammut was silent for a moment before she sighed heavily.

 

"Just a few hours ago… From my real spirit beast. You can see it on my emblem." She lifts her emblem to them.

 

Not just that, she realised something else. The crack didn't recover even after she had her power as one of the Bright Star users. Even Dark Amilia and Dark Ceilius had cracks on their emblem too but it wasn't that visible due to their black colour. She knew they were one of the formal Bright Star users.

 

"How?! You just believe it?" Dark Ceilius scowled at her.

 

He didn't want her to be cheated on. But, it was impossible to cheat with her show of power as proof. He could only wait for her explanation.

 

"If my power is enough, I could have shown you the past. But my power is now insufficient to do that. I can only tell that everything Revioryx, the Dorothia's king told us about our ancestors was a lie. The emblem's power was not given by him. He stole it from the missing twelve Bright Star users. Capturing them and torturing them until… Until they had to give birth forcefully to the next generation. We are the Bright Star users' descendants. And why the emblem became dark was because he had fused it with the power of darkness. He was not human at all! He was a monster!" She explained in one breath.

 

Dark Amilia and Dark Ceilius's eyes widened. The news shocked them to their core. If this was true, then, they have been deceived for 500 hundred years! 

 

"It's true." 

 

Dark Amilia and Dark Ceilius snapped their heads toward Cygnus who had come near them. Only him, Leo, Auriga, Eridanus, and Orion were left. The rest were all dead, killed by Revioryx. Their expression was awful with eyes that had reddened due to sadness and exhaustion.

 

Unbeknownst to them, Dark Reammut was watching all their exposed emblems on their chest. All of them have slight cracks and she wonders if they have noticed it.

 

Cygnus wiped his eyes that were forming tears suddenly. It was because he watched their stellars members being killed and only their incomplete bodies remained. 

 

Libra was one of them and he saw Eridanus had carried her away with a streak of tears running to his cheeks. He put her along with the other dead stellar members that were gathered by them all somewhere far away from Revioryx.

 

Cygnus went to them because he was curious about Dark Reammut's change of mind to be one of them.

 

"What she said is true. Our king… Our king has told us everything that happened in the past to the twelve Bright Star users…" He sniffed.

 

Dark Reammut can feel his anguish feelings. She went closer to him.

 

"I am sorry…" She could only say that.

 

Cygnus was stunned before he shook his head and gave her a small smile.

 

"You have returned, Tucana. That, that is enough. Please… We are counting on you to defeat this monster."

Cygnus turned his head toward Revioryx. His eyes were furious again. Dark Reammut nodded in agreement before she turned toward her sister and Dark Ceilius again.

 

"I'm going to stay. You guys… Go back to Dorothia."

 

"What?! No! Dark Reammut, come back with us!" Dark Amilia pleaded with her.

 

Dark Reammut was stunned after hearing it. Dark Amilia had never pleaded with her before.

 

"I cannot leave here or Revioryx will kill more. I have a duty I need to finish..."

 

"No! This! This is insane! You're going to get yourself killed!" Dark Amilia screamed at her.

 

Dark Reammut can feel her fear but she cannot follow. 

 

"I'm sorry… Sis…"

 

Dark Amilia was next to be stunned. This was the first time after five years that Dark Reammut would call her, sister. Her eyes formed tears before she hugged Dark Reammut tightly.

 

"I won't leave! Not without you!"

 

Dark Reammut slowly hugged her sister back and nodded. She has been avoiding her sister since their aunt chose her as the next user. She hated her sister for recommending her as a Deorc Star user but now she was glad that it happened. Truthfully, she does love her sister. It was just that she felt she was betrayed and had avoided her since then.

 

Suddenly, she vomited some blood and splashed it all over Dark Amilia's chest

 

"Dark Reammut!"

 

"Tucana!"

 

Dark Amilia, Dark Ceilius and Cygnus shout out when they saw her situation and begin to pale. Dark Reammut groans in pain. It seems Revioryx will break free soon. She immediately looked at him and the angels.

 

"Revioryx… I can't hold him much longer…" She whispered to Dark Amilia, Dark Ceilius and Cygnus.

 

"Everyone, channel your power to her!" 

 

An order came suddenly from behind them. 

 

"Channel our power? How, General Leo?!" Cygnus asked.

 

Leo, Auriga, Eridanus and Orion had come after they finished gathering their dead stellars members.

 

"Our emblems' spirits are connected to each other. We can channel our power through them. I read that it was once used during Queen Siarah's reign. We need our spirit beast to help us send our power to her spirit beast." Auriga explained.

 

Dark Amilia and Dark Ceilius feel isolated since their emblems were not the same as Dark Reammut. They can only frown at them.

 

"Alright, let's do it quickly! We don't have much time!" Orion told them.

 

One by one, they held their emblems with one hand while another hand aimed toward Dark Reammut. Their bodies slowly glow brightly before they dash toward Dark Reammut. 

 

Dark Reammut suddenly feels five presence around her while her body becomes more energetic. She was surprised to see their spirit beast manifested itself behind their users. Unfortunately, the spirits' bodies were not that visible and instead disappeared after a few seconds.

 

Dark Reammut didn't think further and used the energy they had channelled to her and Tucana to strengthen her Time Domain. However, she vomited more blood, shocking everyone around her once more. She also fell to her knee while spitting blood out of her mouth.

 

"Dark Reammut! Are you okay?!" Dark Amilia kneeled in front of her while checking her condition. 

 

Dark Reammut's pale face makes her anxious.

 

"I can still hold on. No, I must hold on!" 

 

Dark Reammut replied and wiped her mouth before standing up again. However, her body trembled a little. Dark Amilia helps her by clasping her right arm so she doesn't fall again. 

 

Dark Reammut appreciated her help and was relieved that she finally understood that her sister still loved her. Her mind felt a little peaceful. 

 

In front of them, a hole to Hell reappeared once more beneath Revioryx. New large chains fastened around Revioryx's body to pull him into the hole. When they saw his body sink, they felt something spooky that made their entire body shudder in cold. 

 

A sudden violent earthquake caused Dark Reammut and others to fall to the ground. They were startled to see Revioryx's open eyes move and glare at them furiously.

 

"Urgh..." 

 

Dark Reammut groaned, making everyone look at her again.

 

"Dark Reammut?!" 

 

Blood was spewed out once again from her mouth.

 

"She can't stand it anymore! Everyone, get ready!" Leo told them. 

 

The moment he said those, all the fields trembled and they could see Revioryx in the fields were slowly moving in it. Even so, the angels were struggling to bring him into Hell. A moment later, all the fields blast open bringing huge winds to its surroundings.

 

A loud roar shakes the ground around them. Revioryx's vicious aura was also released, causing Cygnus, Eridanus and Auriga to fall unconscious immediately while Leo, Orion, Dark Reammut, Dark Amilia, and Dark Ceilius still hold on.

 

Their eyes widened at the sight of the chains that trapped Revioryx being broken again. The first thing Revioryx did was to release a dark laser beam toward Dark Reammut and Dark Amilia who were together. He was very angry with Dark Reammut who enclosed him in the Time Domain. 

 

So, he wants to kill Dark Reammut first. As for Dark Amilia, her death was a bonus. It saves him time to kill her and other Deorc Star users later. Since his identity was known now, the Deorc Star users were useless to him.

 

Dark Reammut, who saw the attack, shoved Dark Amilia away from her quickly. Dark Amilia screams frantically while calling her name. She saw the laser beam blow up the place where Dark Reammut was.

 

"Dark Reammut!!!"
