Her steps were swift and steady but she was in of no hurry. From the mere sounds of her footsteps, one could judge at first glance that this woman’s heart was proud and arrogant.
As Xiao Zheng looked up, the woman looked down on them condescendingly. Her face was as white as jade. Her two pair of lips were fiery red and stood in stark contrast under her pearly tall and delicate nose. Her twin peaks were full and perky wanting to break out from her suit.
“Ah, Elder Sister Hong!” The security guard bowed and began explaining the current situation. “You see… this kid is trying to sneak inside the building but I saw through his trick. He’s still trying to argue his way out but worry not, Elder Sister Hong, I’ll throw him out!”
The cold and stern elder sister remained silent as she sized up Xiao Zheng. Throughout the ordeal, her face were devoid of emotions; it was cold and bleak.
Looking at Xiao Zheng’s appearance, it was sloppy and unkempt and gave a depressive vibe like he hadn’t slept for several days.
He looked like a panda. His eyes was bloodshot red and dark circles covered the lower skin under his eyes. Even more so, his face was sickly white.
Looking down at his wrist, he wore only a white electronic watch that looked as if it cost him no less than one hundred yuan. Usually, the wrist embodies a man’s taste in the upper echelons of society.
Xiao Zheng, his appearance looked similar to a destitute uncle who’d lost his way and inside a building filled with elitist, he looked extremely out of place.
“Yes, yes I am.” Xiao Zheng withdrew his gaze from the elder sister’s chest. He smiled foolishly and politely asked, “My lady’s surname?”
Was she the woman he spent the night with?
Yeah, she had a good figure and nice face but it was quite different from his fantasy dream of a devastatingly beautiful. Well, no matter. He’s not the sort to be embarrassed to take a woman out despite her level of beauty and he’s not to worried about the perception of others to begin with.
He was a mediocre person.
He’s only attempting to ease himself by the gap in their status and livelihood.
“You don’t need to know. Follow me.” The elder sister said coldly as she turned around and walked towards the elevator situation in the middle of the hall. She seemed to have lost the last bit of her patience for her time was a cold as ice—it’d cause others extreme discomfort.
The security guard and his companions were left dumbstruck. All three of their views were destroyed.
The elevator stopped on the 88th floor. The elder sister hurriedly got out first. The thought of spending even a second of her time with Xiao Zheng brought her a melancholic sense of abysmal dispair.
Xiao Zheng followed closely behind, hands inside his pocket. Unable to contain himself, he broke the silence and nonchalantly said, “Is this where you work? The place isn’t bad. If I work here, can I earn tens of thousand yuan a month?”
“I get annual salary.” The elder sister replied perfunctorily and did not turn around. Her messy and hurried footsteps betrayed her itching mood.
“How much is your annual salary?” Xiao Zheng smiled cheekily.
The other party was willing to cooperate with their small talks. He’d been looking for a job to so he casually continued.
“It should be at least fifty thousand yuan, right? And considering the economy is currently sluggish and jobs available are becoming scarce, I’m sure you thought it difficult finding a job that doesn’t discriminate merely because of your gender.”
“Two million,” the elder sister replied coldly.
“Two million?!” Xiao Zheng almost tripped over his own foot.
The elder sister somewhat guessed Xiao Zheng’s countenance without looking. Somehow, a sense of fulfillment welled up from the bottom of her heart.
How dare he look down on women while he’s in a dire situation? The elder sister couldn’t help but to laugh at his male chauvinism.
While pleasingly enjoying herself, she heard a resentful question both haughty and angry from behind.
“You’re already so rich and you still want me to pay for the room?! Is this how you do things? If you’re so stingy now, how will you live your life in the future? I am so disappointed in you!”
The elder sister whose surname is Hong trembled and she nearly fell to the ground.
Stingy with money?
How will she live in the future?
While the elder sister’s cheek flushed red, she suddenly thought of the president. Her boss, revered by many, was about to be together with this chauvinist man? The elder sister felt only solemn despair.
“First of all, I would never like you else I’d go blind.” The elder sister slowly turned around, her gaze emotionless and her voice cold. “And secondly, I’m not the one who wants to see you but rather the Big Boss.”
