Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Preparing.

The Elven forest burned for a few days until one of the Uvrasaryn kingdom master rank stood up and used a big scale rain spell to put out the fire.

Isetaesi city, laying one the bed is a middle aged male Wood elf, and beside him is the half elf general with brown hair. "Master rank Zeno, will be put in house arrest because disobeying council order." The half elf general said.

Zeno just lay on the bed without saying anything after casting the rain spell equivalent to master rank spell he fainted. He knows what he has done and prepared for consequence from the council.

"Mr. Zeno, thank you for saving the forest, and take a good rest." The half elf general said respectfully, after that leave the room.

Zeno tries to move his body slowly; he is still tired but manages to walk. The entire mansion is unoccupied since the Zeno family has relocated to the capital city. Zeno walks till he reaches the reading room, where he sits on the sofa to relax.

When the forest caught fire, all of the citizens of Isetaesi city intended to fight to the death, but after being reassured by the city mayor, they decided not to. The citizens calmed down, but the forest continued to burn, and black smoke could be seen in the sky. He ignored the command because he felt stifled and mad.

He is still unaware of the council's strategy to defeat the three human kingdoms. The council appeared to wish to forsake the land bordering the Khodia and Trezar kingdoms.

"Does that indicate the council is giving up on this area?" The majority of the Uvrasaryn kingdom army is along the border with Eqodor kingdom." Zeno muttered and thought about many things till late at night.

Under the moonlight, a long red hair figure is concealing herself in the dark sky. 'Master, why are you interested in this man?' Devlin using telepathy said.

'I see potential in him, let's go.'

'Yes master.'

Devlin appears in front of Zeno, because he is weak right now, he doesn't even notice her.

Zeno looks up and is surprised to see a red-haired female, but soon he becomes calm again. If that person is an assassin, he will already be dead by now.

"What do you want?"

Devlin shakes her head. "Not me but my master."

Appearing beside Devlin is a floating Black crystal. "Hello, let me share with you a little secret."

Sylas and Elia are near the Wyrm nest. The head of a dragon and a serpent body also known as Serpentine dragon.

"Mr. Sylas, it will be faster to kill the Wyrm, if we fight together."

"No need, you stay here." Entering the cave, he can see several Wyrm sleeping but soon wake up when the Wyrm senses someone. The master rank Wyrm begins to roar and unleash fire breath.

Sylas stands there without evading the attack and the fire engulf him. When the Wyrm stops the fire breath the surface of the cave wall looks melted.

"Strong but not strong enough to destroy my shield." Sylas standing at the same place unscathed. "But if I get hit several more times my body will be melted." After saying that Sylas disappeared.

The Wyrm begins to look around the cave to find the human. "Ice spear." Multiple ice spears appear and rain down inside the cave. The master rank Wyrm tried to protect another Wyrm but it was too late, the ice spear pierce through several Wyrm scaly body until death.

Seeing the death of his kin, the master rank Wyrm roars to the sky and begins to exhale fire around the cave. The cave begins to feel like inside an oven and the stone cave begins to melt into magma.

"Shadow Sword Strike." Sylas appears above the Wyrm, and his hand transforms into a dark blade, striking the Wyrm's head. The dark blade pierces Wyrm's head and begins releasing poison. The Wyrm screams in agony and falls to the cave floor. Sylas immediately stuffed all of the Wyrm carcasses into the space storage.

Sylas sends a telepathy message and soon Elia enters the cave. "Let's explore the cave, I am sure the Wyrm are just like a dragon, like to stored treasure." Sylas said.

"You are right. Usually human caravans from other kingdoms fall victim because entering the Wyrm territory by mistake." Elia said.

Sylas understands why the Uvrasaryn kingdom does not destroy the Wyrm because they will warn their citizens about the Wyrm region. However, when it comes to unpleasant merchants and individuals, the inhabitants of the Uvrasaryn kingdom remain quiet about it.

He returns to his underground base after thoroughly inspecting the cave passage and depositing the treasure. Sylas also gives some of the treasure to Elia in exchange for guiding him to the Wyrm nest. Elia first refused, but when Sylas decided to trade it for material, she accepted.

The sun is already rising above the Khodia kingdom army camp. The army is making its way to Isetaesi City. The cavalry is going ahead of the foot soldiers, and above the army are several flying warships hovering in the sky.

"After we arrive near the city, we will rest for a few days before invading the city." a muscular general said."

"Yes, general."

"I need woman and the stupid noble is mad because of the forest fire but the one that allow it, is the king." The muscular general said.

Eqodor kingdom army camp. "General, the King have order to invade the Uvrasaryn kingdom." The lieutenant said.

"Are you stupid, majority of the Elven army is in front us, if we dare to enter, we will die." The chubby general said in a worried tone.

"But, general, the king has order you to begin conquering the Uvrasaryn kingdom; otherwise, you will be accused with insubordination, and the punishment in the army is death."

"I know, let me think and send a letter to the king to explain to him what happened."

"Yes, general."

A soldier on horseback emerges from the army camp and rides to an outpost to deliver the message to the king. When the soldier approaches the jungle, many arrows shoot between the trees, killing him. Several persons in masks materialize near the tree and proceed to the soldier dead body to get the letter.

"Why is master ordered to stop the letter, from what I see the Eqodor kingdom general is a coward."

"Don't question master order, he must have his own plan." After saying that the people with masks, hide the corpse and disappear into the forest.
