Chapter 82: Chapter 82: Artificer.

"I will show them one day." The dwarf works as an artificer in the capital city, but he made a mistake that caused half of the workshop to explode. As a penalty, he must work in the border town for five years.

While grumbling, the dwarf observed something amazing, a human-like puppet. Nobody can see through Syla's master rank illusion skill . However, the dwarf can tell that the human is a puppet since he has dealt with many mechanical golems and other things.

When the dwarf noticed the half elf and the puppet entering the alley, he followed them. "Where is the half elf?" The dwarf glances around but cannot find them.

"What exactly do you want?" Sylas and Lena emerge from behind the dwarf after concealing themselves using the illusion skill.

The dwarf first looks at Sylas, then shifts his gaze to Lena. "Are you an artificer? I want to talk to you about your puppet here, or even better, if you're willing to sell it to me."

"I believe you have made a mistake; this man is not a puppet." Lena started nervously. If Senior becomes enraged, the dwarf will die.

"You can't lie; I can tell. The guy next to you is not a living being," the dwarf stated confidently.

"How do you know that I'm not a human?" Sylas inquires.

This time, the dwarf is perplexed since it appears like the puppet is in charge not the half elf. "Please excuse my rudeness; my name is Rarfan."

"My name is Sylas, let's talk at another place."

"Let's go to my place." Rarfan said. Sylas agreed, and Lena followed suit.

Rarfan shop located at the busiest part of the town, people are walking and entering a shop but in front of his shop look a little bit deserted. Inside the shop shelves are empty, only after entering the room Sylas sees a fully furnished room.

After a few hours of talking, both Sylas and Rarfan are discussing mechanical construction. Because the talk is taking too long, Lena already falls asleep on the sofa. She is already tired from the journey, only Sylas is energetic because of his puppet body and master rank mana core.

"You don't seem to be surprised about talking to a puppet."

"I have lived a long time and seen a lot of things. Many people have tried many things to extend or save their life and most of them become undead or lich. Becoming a puppet is rare. Hahaha who cares about that, as long as you haven't done anything bad." Rarfan said and grabbed a wooden cup to drink.

"Do you have any book about Artificer?"

"Cough, what! you are not an artificer?" Rarfan, after talking to Sylas, knows that Sylas has knowledge about artificers.

Sylas shakes his head and explains about his profession, the more Rarfan listens the more surprised he becomes. "To think you are, A rank adventurer, alchemy, apothecary and physician. When you are human."

Sylas doesn't want to clear the misunderstanding that Rarfan has about him. He doesn't want to tell him about the soul splitting technique.

"How about you both stay here, we can talk more after dinner and I am sure your friend here is also hungry."

"Thank you, Lena wake up, time to eat."

Sylas have been questioning the bulky man group about this place and who are they. Right now he is at Travunia Kingdom in Pholen continent for other information the bulky man doesn't know, he has never leave Travunia Kingdom.

The town is surrounded by wood log walls that have been embedded to the ground. But from Sylas opinion if the large monster comes, the wall will fall easily. At Town gate, all of the people are wearing fur skin clothes, only Sylas wears a mage robe. The first thing he must do is to see the people in charge in the town.

He begins to release master rank mana outside of his body at the same time the mana in the surrounding area become turbulence. The bulky man group, sensing the pressure emitted, begin to knelt because they thought that Mr. Sylas was mad at them. Sylas actually wanted to do it peacefully but he need to quickly find where this place was and if there was another way to return to Vechos continent.

All the people outside and inside the town stop moving, they can feel the pressure forcing them to not move. The Town mayor and a few men rushed to the city gate to see where this disturbance was coming from.

"I am the town mayor; Sir, how can I help you?" The town mayor knows he can't defeat the man in front of him.

"I want to know everything about this place and where is the adventurer guild?"

"There is no organization called adventurer guild here."

"Are there any dungeons around here?"

"Do you mean the underground prison, we don't have it here." The town mayor at first looks confused, but then he remembers that the sorcerer likes to do experiments on humans. His head begins to perspire because he has heard a lot of horrible things that the sorcerer has done, if the sorcerer is mad, he might be the next victim.

"Not, I mean a place underground, where monsters spawn naturally without breeding?"

"There is no such place." The town mayor shakes his head, since he was born he never heard about it.

"Mayor I think; I have heard about that place before." A man wearing armor with a fur cape said.

Sylas and the mayor stare at the man, waiting for his response. "I heard it as a child from a storyteller. During a great war a few thousand years ago, a place where monsters came out endlessly was destroyed on the Pholen continent. I don't recall the rest of the story."

"Bring me to your town library." Sylas order.

"Let's go to my mansion library, there are a lot of books there." The town mayor says excitedly, if he can be friends with the sorcerer. He will get a lot of benefits.

Sylas nodded, before leaving he toss a health potion to the bulky man as a reward for showing him the way to the town. The bulky man looks perplexed after catching the potion because he has no idea what he is holding.

When the Mayor noticed this, his breathing became rapid. He has seen that potion before in the auction, and the price is expensive. Sylas uses telepathy to talk with the bulky man, and the bulky man quickly hides the potion in case someone tries to steal it.
