[Core-Elemental Wonderful Artifact(broken)]: Type: Special item(Failed Artifact), Grade: Mortal's Lethal, Properties: Taken the souls, lives, creations of others and the very same Essence from the world; this failed Artifact can only keep on existing due to the souls of the Sacred Elemental Protectors that have been consumed within, this failed Artifact contains all of the sentiments and last thoughts of those who were consumed by it and are still somehow alive even up to the times of today.
‘So, this is the core that… the system’s skills information talked about? Hmm.’ Holding it within his left open hand, Yun Beishang was looking at the thing as it no longer trembled and seemed to be about to crumble and become little pieces of the cube instead; he couldn’t tell why it was so even as he was the true grandmaster of the current era, the first or the only one- who could know.
If anything, he could just take it as the little cube no longer being in ‘danger’ due to the death of the Crystalline Overlord, who Yun Beishang played 1v1 fights with well enough before proceeding to beat the old man and kill him. In any case, it wasn’t anything that he could really care that much about, but just as he was going to put it back into his White Space to study later…
Fwushowng~!!! PLSYAAAAASSSHHHH~~!
…Yun Beishang had his back turned to the little cube while his left hand was still holding it with it on top of his left palm, and when he was going to stylishly store it, a rough crumbling occurred and the little cube instantly became like a little puppy in his arms that didn’t want to be carried by him, quickly jumping off his left palm.
But instead of jumping toward the ground, it jumped into the air and, the little cube that was of an astoundingly Mortal’s Lethal grade which Yun Beishang couldn’t care at all, suddenly became mere energy as all kinds of most wonderful colors; ethereal and dreamy cloud-like light blue, fiery and hot light red, old and rusty but overly resistant-powerful light green and a cutting-like light yellowish color.
Pffssshh~... PLGHAWAAAAAAAAAAAWGHH-...TUM!!! PFSHGWALALA~~LA~~LA~~LAA…!
But what followed the disappearance of the little cub into that of energy, or energies, of 4 different ethereal and dreamy colors, was that of an insanely immense swarm of unknown but ghostly looking entities that rushed up into the uttermost center spot on the ceiling as if being so utterly hurried over crashing into the sky.
Within the swarm, current or simply just an inverted waterfall whose speed was hundreds of times that of an actual waterfall, consisted in pale-violet, dull-violet and even blue-gray and pale violet colored entities without physical forms. Merely they looked like actual ghosts, each of them having their own height and with their shapes varying according to the surviving Myriad Races on Main Kingdom from the God Race’s extermination of the whole Universe.
Each had their own height as well, some looked like little girls, others like little boys, young adults, of old age and even some small animals and beasts or monsters were seen from time to time as they went up. But, each of them had their facial features completely impossible to discern, they were also making not a single sound.
But as only Yun Beishang could recognize a few faces from within, rather recent faces at that, and Rosey looked on after a little gasp escaped her meaty and flawlessly formed orange pink lips as she looked at the colorful energies and the seemingly torrent of souls, while Lioness only raised her head up and had a slightly agape mouth as she saw this all with but curiosity and knowledge-hungry.
It was ultimately the crystal room still, and it was so special indeed for it to be able to ‘host’ the authentic and natural Core Elements and have it precede all over it just with the mere actions of one entity who was ‘barely’ at the God Devourer grade or level of a being for this world.
And when the hurl of souls who seemed to be clinging onto nothing but ‘everything’ at the same time crashed against the center of the ceiling of the crystal room, a thundering sound came out from the collision of both, resulting in the entire crystal room not cracking but seeming to be wanting to crack… by itself.
With Yun Beishang’s Intent informing him of this, he frowned as Lioness finished picking up the loot along with Rosey and sent them all to the White Space while dazedly looking at the uniquely creepy but… kinda hopeful scene. The hurl of entities continued going up and up but was still blocked high up by the crystal room, though it seemed like they were either trapped and somehow returning to the place in which the hurl of entities began only to swarm straight back up against the ceiling once more; unendingly and without it paying off at all as the crystal room was in still a more than perfect condition.
“They are running, young Evil God…” A sudden voice made Yun Beishang slowly turn and lower his head to his left, where he could see no man nor woman but a mere little ball of light blue light that was as ethereal and dreamy as the light red, light green and light yellowish balls of energy who were no surrounding him while ‘seemingly’ gazing up at the scene and below at him at the same time.
They were hovering in midair, naturally, and with Rosey tilting her head at the sight of this, Lioness only got closer to Yun Beishang and leaned her little girl’s body on his left thigh before taking a stance of just being an observer to whatever this fun event was. The voice that spoke just now, the light blue ball, was from an old man that was yet not old.
“Yes, they are, for as we couldn’t even protect them.” A female voice was heard, Yun Beishang turned his eyes to look at the light green ball that sounded reproachful and self-derisive, nor Yun Beishang nor a fool would need any kind of other hint to understand what was going on; but Yun Beishang still asked with a casual but dragged on tone.
“So, you are all…”
“Yes, we a-no, we were the Sacred Elemental Protectors of the Wonder Region.” The light blue ball spoke again, the shame clear in his voice as the other light colored balls flickered and despite the turmoil they were going to, basically agreed with what was said. The old man’s voice sounded again, “Don’t mind us too much, it’s been some time since our whole bodies and almost our whole beings were taken by the… ‘Crystalline Overlord’.”
‘Story time? Make it short please…’ Yun Beishang thought as he looked up once again to see the endlessly ongoing swarm of ghost looking entities slamming over and over again towards the ceiling, his ears already ready to listen for as short a time as possible.
“Just after getting rid of some Demons that came to invade, when we were tired out due to our old lifespan nearing and our efforts being placed into creating another one of us, on our own; when we were weakened.” The old man’s voice seemed not to notice Yun Beishang’s easy to read thoughts all over his face, so he continued.
“We were foolish, oh… so foolish!” The old man spoke, the other light colored balls dimmed down a bit out of their own emotions as he kept on going, “Our own Overlord, one that could never be ‘touched’ by that ‘forced’ Fallen fate of theirs, those disgusting, trash of a Race!!”
“Sigh…Young Evil God, the Sacred Protectors from most other Regions might not be capable of easily suppressing such an attempt made by the crazed and desperate Gods and Goddesses, but we are Elementals, and not anything like those whom you’ve probably seen before in this world of ours.”
“When we are born, it is due to the cooperative set of rituals in which a Godly Elemental Race member throws off a piece of their whole being to the core center of the residence of our whole Godly Elemental Race, it is like a… ‘dance’, in which the newborn is created a bit more for each ritual.”
“In the end, a brand new Godly Elemental Race would be born into this world and be brought up with nothing but dear care and teachings of the laws and principles of the whole Universe.” The light blue ball seemed to reminisce, but at the same time; not. “It may sound like a sacrifice of sorts but, to a Godly Elemental, that kind of ritual is nothing after a few tens of months are gone by in the blink of an eye.”
“But that is not the same for us, now. For a few generations, in these few millions of years, our Godly Elemental Race as a whole has been only a whole Race of 4, with each belonging to a different SubRace and having to expend all of their being to allow another Godly Elemental to be brought up to this world… forever making the Godly Elemental Race one destined to be exterminated by time.”
“...” The old man’s voice ceased speaking, a sudden bout of sadness made him seemingly mute as he only continued after a while as the other light colored balls waited in silence as well. “Time ago, when the God Race was warring against the whole world, our Godly Elemental Race sacrificed itself to save the remains of the Elves, Demons and Giants.”
“Naturally, the Giant Race was totally annihilated, making the sacrifice of the Titan Race completely futile in the end. We've failed since then, each every billion of our SubRaces from our Godly Elemental Race, detonating their everything and forcing the entire Universe’s sole trajectory that led to Main Kingdom unstable where not even an Ancient God would be able to traverse through such space.”
“Because of how we, the Godly Elemental Race, are born, we are granted the Core Elemental or ordinary/unique Element but not in the same way in which the Godly Elements of Main Kingdom are born from the Origin Pertaining Region. Once we are given such gifts from Mother Main Kingdom, we learn on our own, resembling ourselves into the laws of this world is just one of the many proceedings that we go to in our youth.”
“The detonation of a Godly Elemental can make a whole small Kingdom’s ecosystem to… ‘change’.” The old man’s voice seemed to have both pride and mourning, as he continued after a slight necessary pause. “That’s why, the Crystalline Overlord decided to put us all into his own plans and… devoured us, just like the Crystal Elemental Race once swore to devour all Gods and Goddesses in revenge.”
“Because we couldn’t afford for Main Kingdom, the last Kingdom that was not hollow, to become a mere and simple rock or impossible to inhabit. I fai-no, we failed our purpose and hence, the Crystalline Citadel fell, our people died and our whole Race finally became extinct.” The light blue ball glimmered and shone strongly out of nowhere, the old man's voice concluding.

“Just look at me now, if it wasn’t because of Precious Chrysoberyl and Precious Citrine, we would’ve been consumed fully and the Wonder Region would’ve been destroyed in its entirety, just like you, Evil God, witnessed the destruction of the Celestial White Tiger Sub-Division.”
“That’s right…” A slowly speaking voice was heard, Yun Beishang turned his head to look at the light yellowish ball hovering in the air who began to glimmer bit by bit to the same level as the light blue ball and then continued with the same pace. “The Crystalline Overlord of this era was nothing else but a young child whose parents were forced into a Fallen state and could only sacrifice themselves for the birthing of him.”
“However, whether it be because of the way he was born or because of the easiness in which the God Race could get into that boy’s mind; the son they birthed and every single living being and structure put their hopes on, ended up not only massacring his own whole Race and eating them, but the entire Crystalline Citadel that had an abundance of greater population, potential and talent than any of the other Regions of Main Kingdom…”
“They crippled us,” a young man-like voice sounded from the light red ball, interjecting with smoothness the Precious Citrine Sacred Elemental Protector without offense and then continuing with some of his own words. “Because we failed, our people, the Crystalline Citadel and… our extinct ancestors who would be weeping if they could still reincarnate.”
“Your words are wise, Precious Chrysoberyl,” the light green ball spoke, her taking it from hereon as she spoke towards Yun Beishang while the other light balls began to shine as strongly as one another and lifting themselves up into the air; she doing the same but in a much more slowed pace as Yun Beishang heard the Godly Elemental Race’s last wish…
“Young Evil God, Evil God Katia, Ancient One and offspring of the Responsive Dragon and the Heavenly Lion whose departure was as heartbreaking as that of our fallen Chief Commanders.” Her voice seemed to have become real, and with shame not being hidden from her entire, remaining, being; she spoke to them but more specifically to Yun Beishang.
“That failed Artifact you’ve held just now was the object which was crafted by the Crystalline Overlord, he was so obsessed with eating the whole Main Kingdom that the idea of it being impossible didn’t cross his mind. One should know, power is not everything, as the previous Leader of Main Kingdom made sure to grow Mother until not even an existence could threaten her like that; only destroying all of Main Kingdom would be valid for the God Race.”
“But they are weakened too, that war, we lost, but they won with great losses and with their reproduction being so limited due to their hearts pathing on a wrong way; only a few thousands but strong God Race should be remaining. Evil God, it is your choice to do whatever you wish with that failed Artifact’s, you can either destroy all these souls that are in between dead and non-existent.”
“You could free them of their pain or… free them into the world one last time. I, nor we, have any reason nor rights to demand anything from you, even a word. So don’t be awkward in not wanting to speak, the other Regions might not be as tumultuous as the Bright Sunset Region and this Wonder Region. But each Overlord of theirs… is sure to be one who had completely lost it.”
“Otherwise, the Regions of Main Kingdom would have never fallen to this point, in which we even depend from random forces allying with each other and as several other SubRaces from the Myriad Races gone extinct act like beats and mindless slaughter puppets, forming tribes and stomping their way towards other settlements in the past.”
“Only the Responsive Dragon, who’s been hurting ever since his wife died, had chosen to ignore the Region under his command and instead… has passed on that rule over to you and, now… I as the Sacred Protector of Main Kingdom’s Sub-Divisions… welcome you as the new Leader of Main Kingdom… only your… success… is a matter of time and… not of hardship…”
Finally, her voice was ethereal as she was already so high up and mingled with the rest of the light colored balls, turning into sweet nothingness that then adhered themselves to the uttermost center of the crystal room’s ceiling.
“Good luck, new Evil God… Evil God Katia’s revival… will be the most wonderful impossible achievement in all Universal Lands to ever happen… which I nor we won’t be able to witness… I’ll gladly take that as punishment…”
…pfshwiimm~!
Without too much of a noise, showy scene nor a few last words of heroism and encouragement, the Sacred Elemental Protectors, the Godly Elemental Race; went extinct. The Crystal Elemental Race… also went extinct. Two whole different Races went extinct at this very day, both for a different purpose and goals each, and witnessed by the same four people nonetheless.
The God Race’s doings were supposed to be over from millions of years ago, where their hurting and harm was no longer reachable within Main Kingdom, yet, just now; because of them, two Races were completely wiped out all the same even after such a long time. Even when the Masters on each settlement reassure the safety of the Inhabitants of Main Kingdom and as Journeyers dream of being a hero inside New Earth’s ‘second home’ or ‘second life’.
“...” Yet, it all happened still, like the barrier was merely a plaything and those being surrounded by it were the monkeys. From way up above, the Gods and Goddesses must be very charmed by these events, as Yun Beishang looked up with his eyes directly crossing the crystal room, hundreds of thousands of kilometers and even reaching way higher up into the sky of Main Kingdom where he could momentarily see the fallen Crystalline Citadel.
“...that was nice.” But Yun Beishang’s thoughts weren’t any simple and, just as the sweet nothings were about to touch the uttermost center of the crystal room’s ceiling, with Lioness grinning with the left corner of her lips as she instantly leaped into the air and instantly transformed into her Lioness form, Yun Beishang lunged at her back and held onto her fur as they ascended without a care for crossing over the torrent of souls all the same.
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!
… … …PAH!!
Lioness was traveling so high up and, with Yun Beishang still having a few more tens of seconds of the second Bloodline of the Teary Rose skill remaining, they reached the uttermost center of the ceiling in just 0.2 seconds, to which they were suddenly stopped as Yun Beishang used all of his Hidden Stats.
Right before the uttermost center of the ceiling, Lioness stopped in midair and did not clashed against the ceiling, creating an impossibly sound so loud it could’ve deafened and bled Yun Beishang’s ears if it was the him with just 1 of his Forms having been fully consolidated. Meanwhile, Yun Beishang’s body reached the ceiling and crashed against it, the nails of his Great Petals of Destruction Set deeply penetrating as much as possible within the crystal ceiling.
And just like that, Yun Beishang’s forehead was, however, flashing with a strange and crooked cauldron that looked very unusual. With just a light but fierce flinging motion of his right arm from the front of his chest to his right, a 70 cm long gray-brown cauldron appeared before him as his left hand was deeply embedded into the ceiling and clinging his body to it.
With the cauldron appearing, as if drawn by it, the sweet nothingness remains of the Sacred Elemental Protectors were quickly absorbed into the cauldron’s compartments on its back, just like the Azure Dragon, Carmesí Vermilion Bird, Perpetual Black Turtle and Celestial White Tiger Vestige’s did.
Fswiiiiiiiiiiimmp~!~!~!~!
Within just a moment, as the sweet nothingness remains went inside the cauldron, Yun Beishang released a silent sigh of 5 parts in relief and 5 parts out of hard work. Then, the unusual cauldron disappeared and went back to flash on the right side of Yun Beishang’s glabella, right beside the cube that the Goddess creator of the God Race’s True Wish relic’s image was always posing.
‘A failed Artifact in cube shape, huh? Couldn’t be any more fitting, hehe.’ Yun Beishang thought, shaking his head slightly while Lioness used her raspy tongue to lick his face dumbly, getting a few pets from her soon-to-be husband as he then turned around and laid his back on the back of Lioness’ neck to relaxingly looked at the center of the ceiling that is now just half a meter away from him and with the torrent of souls right beside him still going up at it furthermore.
