Final Preparations Before Going To Main Kingdom's Space!

 

 

 

"Belvena." Returning the greeting, Yun Beishang finished placing the last paper sheet atop the pile of other 'paperwork'. Glancing at the old elf whose beauty was still there despite being tens of thousands of years old and leading each and every decision of the Ancient Forest Region for the past few thousands of generations; she was thin but not like a dying old man/woman without the use of lifespan elixir back in New Earth.

Basically, not like an ordinary person in their most 'last few years'-kind of age.

She had an extensively long hair, it was so large that it could have several different hairstyles done to it from the top of her head all the way to the ground behind her heels, with a long ‘cape-crown’ of her pale-platinum hair being as wide as possible on her back and even wider than what the murky green robe on her body could cover.

From the top of her head to the lowest of her nape, she had a very natural and unsophisticated smooth hairstyle, while right below it, a large butterfly’s wings-like hairstyle was formed over the back of her shoulders, as if they were fake wings for cosplaying but made out of her hair, with adornments here and there to keep it in place; perhaps.

It was simple, if there was a word to describe her, that would be matriarch; and if there was a way to easily present to just about to anybody a direct example of the word ‘matriarch’, that would be her - simple.

Screech, tap.

With the chairs to the front and at the sides of Yun Beishang’s desk, the matriarch ‘Belvena’ took a chair and placed it right in front of Yun Beishang, being unceremonial but courteous while doing so as she quickly moved the chair and sat on it. Once she did, her head turned to look at the paperwork on Yun Beishang’s right, her eyes becoming a bit interested, curious but not surprised nor attracted to it.

Instead of asking about what he was doing in a silly manner and with a silly reason of novelty from her part towards it, Matriarch Belvena turned her head back to Yun Beishang, her dull celeste eyes somewhat giving Yun Beishang a lot of calmness right away. He also…felt like this female elf in front of him had not just much more experience than himself, but that was even comparable to Krayeke Crestfallen’s demeanor and way of being.

“Here’s the Evil God that the Myriad Races needed, and so much.” Matriarch Belvena said, her brown furrowing a bit, her tone light and her right hand and forearm supporting her feeble looking body on the table. Yun Beishang relaxed his back on his ‘throne’-chair, and from his head tilted to the right as he watched Matriarch Belvena sit down tilted all the way to the left.

“My Race might have one of the largest lifespans, no, the largest one since the Giants and Demons were exterminated.” With nostalgia, the little old Matriarch looked to the right, where a magical window gave light to the Lord’s office and showed an image of not the Main Kingdom of today, but of yesteryear.

Pshwuang~, chirp chirp, whoosh swish swish!

Some birds’ cries and the simple rushing of wind and fresh air sounded, and despite the fact that there wasn’t any actual air being even moved in the slightest inside the room, Yun Beishang could feel the freshness and nature coming from the image alone. Causing him to blink once in instinctive enjoyment of such.

“This is a relic.” The old, wasted by the times-like voice sounded out again, interrupting Yun Beishang’s thoughts and slowly closing the ‘window’ to that image. “I give this to you, when a pretty little elf is born in this world that catches your eye, catches your eye enough to want to marry her and bring the Elf Race a legacy to leave behind…Give this to her as a dowry, if you could.”

“Powlniu would never accept such a thing, she will definitely want to bring, at the very least, her daughter with her despite her sons wanting to convince her otherwise. In that case, for whatever Evil God is planning, I hope that with enough time, you will find the correct one to honor us like this, no matter the cost.” The old Matriarch Belvena laid her cards, with Yun Beishang not showing any response.

“What if the cost is all of Main Kingdom’s Elven Race belonging to me?” Yun Beishang asked Belvena with but an uncare tone and his voice filled with nonchalance. Hearing those words and the way they were spoken, Belvena grinned just a tiny bit from both corners of her mouth. “So what if that’s the price? Serving the Evil God, the Elf Race can only feel fortunate enough for eternity.”

“...” Yun Beishang’s lips didn’t move and his voice was nonexistent, none words were spoken but his eyes were clearly ‘talking’ of many disturbing and humiliating acts of the Matriarch Belvena towards Matriarch Belvena. With such a gaze, Matriarch Belvena lowered her head a little, like a scheming grandma defeated at last.

“Though I grow as old enough for historians of the Human Race to forget someone like me ever existed, and for many other Races to completely forget my existence, the things I’ve done, I’ve caused, I’ve commanded and brought to everyone in Main Kingdom and not just ‘my’ Ancient Forest Region of back then…and myself; those are the things that only I cannot seem to forget.”

“I am old, Evil God.” The old Matriarch said as her head remained slightly lowered all this time, her dull celeste eyes looking straight up at him still as well; though. Causing Yun Beishang to do a belly laugh once and a momentary grin from the left corner of his lips, she continued in the same self-comical and self-humiliating tone as before. “And unlike you, Humans, I grew old enough to be able to change. Lived too much, and in the end, became so dully sentimental.”

“...” Looking at her left, where just walls and more chairs were, the old Matriarch, Belvena, showed a sad part of her visage that no one in their entire lives have seen. Her voice sounded out once again, feeling Yun Beishang’s gaze on her not being any emotional, much less having a reaction. “I’ve lost all my sons, all my children, and my husband even did that for himself.”

Looking back at Yun Beishang with her knees aiming at his desk instead of towards the right of it, Matriarch Belvena’s right hand fell on the back of Yun Beishang’s left hand and back of his right handed fingers, which he placed on the table just now, soundlessly, and with the intention of setting up straight.

“There is no retribution, no redemption. There is only us.” Leaving those final words, she stood up, turned around and walked to the door that closed on its own after she entered the room. As she opened it, her head turned back to look at Yun Beishang, with her still tall stature, she had to look slightly down at Yun Beishang.

Creak~~-...

“Your mother and father, Evil God… … …After this ends.” Finally, after saying these words, Belvena left. Yun Beishang’s mindset wasn’t confused in the slightest, while his composure was completely fine and his eyes weren’t rippling in the slightest. Just as the door was about to close, he looked at the top left from his point of view, where the ‘magical window’ had been opened.

In his left handed fingers, a tiny crystal with a shape similar to that of a rhomboid the size of a third of his palm appeared, but it was too rough and had many ugly disproportionate sides.

Atop in the sky of the World Domination City, and in each and every single Sub-Divisional City and Divisional City, 3 portals were hovering in the air facing only the south of each said City. Their ‘backs’ had a ‘cover’ that no matter who or what throwed and was thrown into it would even get the same response from the ‘face’ of each portal.

There was one directly above the center of all Cities, the one in left from the central one was just a few dozens of meters behind it, while the one on its right was hundreds of meters behind with both having about half a kilometer of distance separating each of them from the central portal.

Seeing this position, it was more than impossible for Yun Beishang’s Motherships to go through them, even if it the portals were capable of shrinking non-living objects, non-breathing but undead beings and non-entities, the Motherships were way too big to even float close to the Unparalleled Peaceful Rain World Domination City.

Naturally, however, Yun Beishang wouldn’t be so brainless to make a showdown of his resources just for mighty fashion points. He had a goddamn cheat code advantage such as the True Wish Relic, his White Space. Which, right now inside it, there were quite a few of such Motherships, almost emptying out the treasury, depository and all goddamn storehouses of The Order which has been collecting endless resources for almost a whole damn fucking year.

But right now, as people all around Main Kingdom waited and waited for the incoming 12:00 am o’clock to hit, and the Masters were already floating all around those portals like sages waiting for the right time to send their precious disciples to war and die for the entire Kingdom. Maybe not too much of a beautiful reason and purpose, but it was it.

Meanwhile, among the crowd and not disguising himself, wearing casual clothes and appearing with Irllytia in a bodycon spotless red dress in her Human Form and with Diana by her side as the former grabbed Yun Beishang’s right arm and he leaned over a Statue of his with his left elbow on the grass that nobody— but he and his family —should step on to take care of the garden. He opened the Leaderboards’ interface.
