Chapter 5: Chapter 5 – The Injury

Spidey was fighting an assortment of pro-registration heroes, literally the A-team of the bunch as he has been maiming too many Cape-Killers

He had been going on a rampage again, as he has not had any contact from MJ for weeks since the exhibition. MJ ignored his calls and didn't even read his messages, which made him into a mental wreck

Felicia kept telling him to calm down and lay low, but he didn't listen

Now, both Spidey and Black Cat were being chased and outnumbered by many heroes he knew personally in his previous life, only they didn't know who he was

"You can't escape, Spidey. Just surrender and come peacefully" Iron Man said as he chased Spider-man to the docks

Spidey looked around, and saw he was facing the full force of what would be the pro-registration Avengers

Besides Iron Man, there was Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic, the Black Widow, Ms Marvel (Carol Denvers), She- Hulk, Wonder Man, Sentry and what seemed like Thor, but Spidey felt was different!

It seemed Iron Man was not taking chances with Spider-Man and was determined to capture him!

"Run! I'll handle them" Spidey yelled to Black Cat as he went to a flurry of attacks

Spidey has fought over his weight class before, facing such powerhouses like FireLord, the Hulk, and even the whole team of X-Men before

Not holding back, he flew through between them, sending a flurry of punches and kicks, unorthodox in his style which has always kept his foes off balance

Iron Man barely put up a shield as Spidey bounced off and hit both Ms Marvel, She-Hulk and Wonder Man in the ricochet.

Summersaulting, he avoided Mr Fantastic's attempt to restrain him and webbed Black Widow's arms, who was preventing the Black Cat from escaping

Multiple helicopters were recording the fight in the air, and MJ was glued to the livestream news from Bobby's house, both naked in bed together

"Go Spidey!" Bobby said, surprisingly supporting the anti-registration side. He was partial also because his movie Captain America, the Steve Rogers movie got banned after a week, because Cap was on the anti-registration side and the government censored all media painting Steve in a good light

"What are you doing?" Iron Man yelled at Sentry, who was only hovering in the air without taking action

Spidey was also very cautious of him and feared him the most, besides the crazed Thor whom he was facing too

Sentry felt like something was wrong and somehow felt that he knew Spidey. He didn't know if his memory has been altered or reality had shifted, but he felt something was off and refused to attack who someone he felt was his friend

Spidey bounced between the heroes, not holding back his punches as he fought She-Hulk, Wonder Man, Ms Marvel and Thor and it was clear that his fists were turning bloody 

While the heroes were getting battered and bruised, it was clear that Spidey's knuckled were the ones being more damaged with each blow. Those heroes were arguably indestructible although Spidey was managing to hurt them

Spidey saw that the Thor character was showing sparks under the cracks in his skin the more he attacked

Suddenly, Wonder Man managed to grab him in a hold from behind

"Stay down for your own good, Spidey" Wonder Man said, restraining him

"Surrender, or she dies!" suddenly "Thor" said as he held Black Cat by the neck

"Thor? What are you doing?" Wonder Man hesitated

"Thor! Stand down!" Iron Man commanded

But Thor didn't obey and started bringing his hammer down on Felicia, who helplessly dangled in his hand

Spidey immediately moved, so fast that it seemed Wonder Man was moving in slow motion as he freed himself and rushed to Thor

Everyone seemed to move as if frozen in time as Spidey rushed between Iron Man and Mr Fantastic, Ms Marvel and She-Hulk and only Sentry managed to move to try to stop Spidey

Spidey's foot got caught in mid air by Sentry and he felt Spidey's ankle snap as his jump was interrupted

He managed to still twist his body and Felicia looked in horror as Peter used his body to block Thor's hammer

"Peter!" Felicia screamed his name by accident as his prone body managed to block the blow but Thor struck him with full force, landing right between his legs, right at his groin!

Sentry watched in horror, holding Peter's broken leg as the hammer exploded on Spidey's groin

His hip bone snapped in half as both legs bent the wrong way as if his hips were no longer attached

He could see flesh explode and could see pieces of Spidey's testicles fly in different directions

Spidey's costume burst in flames as Sentry held on to his limp body by his broken leg

"Spider-Man!" Iron Man yelled, somehow feeling as if he was responsible for injuring a treasured friend

Mr Fantastic yelled a shut down code and Thor released Black Cat who rushed to Peter

Sentry had put out the flames from his costume and his body, from his thigh up to half his chest was naked and covered with 3rd degree burns

It was unclear what had happened to his penis as there was nothing by a mangled mess and his legs were barely attached to his hips which were crushed

"Avengers Assemble!" a voice cried as the anti-registration heroes made an appearance, led by Captain America!

The teams on both sides clashed

"Wait, he's badly injured" Mr Fantastic said

"No thanks to you" Cap said angrily

By now Felicia was carrying Spider-Man away as the two teams clashed

"Yeah... yeah! Go cap!" Bobby yelled at his television at home, not noticing MJ was crying next to him

It looked terrible as Spidey looks as good as dead. If not, he would be maimed for life!

"Where are you going? This is great!" Bobby said as MJ left the room

"I... I have something to do" she muttered as she got dressed to leave

She searched Aunt May's house, but found that he wasn't there either, and Aunt May didn't know anything of the battle or why Peter would be involved in it

Finally, she knocked on Felicia's door

Felicia opened the door and MJ could see that she had been crying too

"Mary.. Jane.." Felicia said, surprised to see her

MJ hugged her as they both embraced, crying

"Where.. where's Peter? Is he alright?" MJ asked

Felicia didn't answer, bringing her in and closing the door

She has already been accepted for several small roles, but these were call ups for main roles in movies
