Chapter 3: Chapter-2

After the war with the demon faction and the Demon King Orion, the three Kingdoms- Kingdom of Aracardia, Kingdom of Dandelions and The Holy Kingdom of Lyra, merged together to form an Empire

This Empire was named as Enceladus. The person who became the empror
of this empire was one of the Heros as well as the former crown
prince of Kingdom of Aracardia, The 3rd hero, the swordmaster of the hero's
party, Leon Cloven.

The first and second hero became the aids of
the empror, as the head of the royal guard and the principal of the
'Royal Academy' respectively.

The fourth hero, Lilith, the healer of the hero's party, became the Head Priestess of The Temple of Lyra.

The fifth hero, Shin, the Ninja, started his own training center to train the new generation.

Now, its been 5 years since the end of the war. All the heros have their own
family, and today, their children are taking part in the 'Awakening
Ceremony' held at the Celestial Palace.

Many people and big shots of the Empire have gathered here to see the awakening ceremony. This large crowd is unusual, but they all have gathered here toady because the successors of all the heros are having their awakening ceremony together at this place

Romantica Cloven- daughter of Leon, a genius in Sword and Magic (5 year old)

Ray Lionheart- the son of Van Lionheart(Hope) and Stella Lionheart  (5 year old)

Jin- the son of Shin, with immense talent in using any weapon (5 year old)

Alice- the disciple of Lilith and the candidate of the next siantess (5 year old)

Silvia Lionheart- older sister of Ray, and a genius in Magical Spells (6 year old)

Drake Lionheart- younger brother of Ray, a prodigy in martial arts (4 year old)

To see these six kids awakening ceremony, people from all over the Empire had come.

Evening time

Now as the sun settles and the stars are visible in the sky, all the children who are taking the ceremony step up in the middle of a collesum, which is called the 'celestial palace'. Now, under the night sky, these individuals will receive a 'skill' which will tell what they will do and how they will dictate their life.

But, out of all the 84 children partaking in the ceremony, seemingly everyone's eyes are fixated on only six individuals.

<Ray's POV>

I woke up early today, after getting up from my bed, I went out of my room. It was still dark outside, so I ran down the corridor to my favourite place in our mansion, the storeroom.

I slowly opened the door of the room and went inside. It was a dusty place, not cleaned very often, I like this place very much because there are old books which tell about my father's journey, Van Lionheart, or Hope, as everyone knows him by that name.

 I like reading about my father, mother and other heros traveling together to fight off against the demon army, their heroic deeds and helping people.

I got to know that my father and mother were originally commoners, but after returning from the journey, they were given high noble ranks in the Empire and a Last name- Lionheart

I aspire to be like my father, as the oldest son of the family, I have been receiving political teaching and swordmanship practice since last year. If you ask me why is a four year kid who should be enjoying his carefree life getting political teachings and swordmanship practice? I have been told that as the oldest son of a High ranking noble as well as the successor of the Sword Hero, I should have exceptional abilities than the others my age. That's why I try my best to live up to their expectations.

I also get free time in my teachings. I can meet my friends- Princess Romantica, Jin and Alice as well as my family- My father, mother, my younger brother Drake and older sister Silvia. Because of my busy schedule, I wake up earlier than my siblings and go out for my training, my parents are usually busy so they only come together at meal time, but my meals are given to me in my room. The only person I usually only see is the maid who takes care of me.

Anyway, today is a very exciting day. Because today is the day I will get my 'skill'. In this world, every intelligent creature gets his or her own 'Status Screen' in which every race have its own different powers. For High Humans its Skills.

These Skills are special powers given to our race, and are graded from G to SS. Skills can be inherited, and it is said that they will only be inherited to the ones who are worthy. All the successors of the heros are expected to inherit their predecessor's skill(s).

Today, I read about the different strong races in our world, Arcana. As a special day, as well as it happens to be my 5th birthday, I got a one day special off from my training and classes. So I spent most of the time in the library, after that, I got a call from my maid as she told me that it was getting late for the ceremony. I looked out of the small window in the library and the Sun was gonna set in some time now.

So I left the library and started getting ready. After changing my clothes and doing my hair, I saw my reflection in the mirror inside my room. Red hair from my dad, which were reaching to my shoulders as I tied them in a ponytail, Purple eyes from my mom, and a well trained body which is unusual for a 5-year. But there was a problem, I look like a girl! People usually mistake me for a girl when they see me from a distance, and this disturbs me.

But anyways,"let's go!"
