"Hey, there is a sniper somewhere in the church. Where the hell did this person get a sniper?"

"Zoro you better not loot now, we need backup on the far side of the town."

"Why the hell will you go to the far side of the town? I have repeatedly said to stick together. We will get enough loot here to survive. We can kill the other teams and move on."

"Some people are just greedy!!"

"How shall we proceed now?...."

"Listen to me...."

That was the conversation Robin was having right now over his average priced earphones which were connected to his mobile. Robin was a normal 5 feet 10 guy who lived in the city of Guwahati which was in the North Eastern part of India.

He had completed his engineering from a state sponsored college and was not exactly the bright student of his class. Honestly, Robin didn't have any wish to associate himself with any engineering related jobs which his parents had been pushing for.

90% of the reason he completed his degree in engineering was because his parents wanted him to do that and the rest was just to escape the college debt which he might have to take later. Being a state sponsored college his fees were negligible.

Now that he had completed his studies, he wanted to do what he had always wanted. Learn a foreign language and be proficient enough to earn a good salary. His college life he had toiled extra to learn Spanish and right now he was learning Japanese.

His Spanish proficiency had already landed him a translation job and in addition to that he attended online Japanese language classes. In the free time that he got he played PUBG Mobile with his friends.

This was one of those days where he was playing nonstop with his friends for the last hour while shouting and yelling on his microphone.

"Robin, you better stop playing and come to eat." The voice of his mother came from the kitchen. Unlike the western culture, the children in India are allowed to stay with their parents, but many choose to leave for work purposes. But if they get the chance many of the children love to stay back at home and work from there.

For Robin it was easy as he worked from home. Of course he contributed to the family as he looked after the food and other small expenses of the home. Their home was in an apartment and it was in the name of the father. So all they had to pay was the few electric, gas and water bills which Robin looked after.

Of course Robin's father at first refused the help but Robin insisted as he tried to be a good son. His parents weren't exactly happy with the career choices of their son but they supported him as he had been a good son.

"Yeah mom.. Coming.. Just a few seconds... Zoro ... I am going to save Eren who is singled out. If I die I will leave the game... Now cover me." Robin said as he made a run to the nearby building while moving his fingers over the game. There was a long patch of no cover between the building Eren was in and the building he was.

Seeing that there had been silence from the church he made another bold run through the open street.

"Kenny what the hell..." His other 2 team members shouted as Kenny was his PUBG ID. They shouted because Robin gave no signal that he would continue on the open street. Robin was sometimes impulsive when it came to such decisions and he was often penalised for this.

And today was one of those days!!

Robin was shot right at the head by a Kar98. This gun was specifically made to bring down any opponent if it was shot at the head of a person. Of course if a person was wearing a high level 3 helmet he might be saved and would just lose a chunk of health, but Robin was wearing a below par level 1 helmet and he was brought down immediately.

As expected he was killed in the next shot with a consecutive shot at the head. Robin couldn't even crawl to safety.

"You idiot...I told you not to make impulsive decisions.."

"Why does this asshole always bring the team down..."

"You shouldn't have tried to save me. I told you not to come.."

A barrage of screams could be heard on the speaker. Robin just sighed at it. He wasn't exactly a good player when it came to such moments. His mom calling him for lunch was probably the trigger for him as he wanted to finish the battle fast so that he wouldn't have to hear the nagging of his mother.

"I am sorry guys.. I would have to leave.. My mother is calling for lunch.." Robin said on his microphone as he didn't care about the insults from his friends. This was common between them as they had been friends for a long time. He logged out after that as he came back to the main menu.

Robin stood up as the screen loaded to the main menu while he got up from his chair. He took his first step, his toe hit the side of his bed and he almost screamed in immense pain. He wasn't clumsy per se but seeing the main menu in his mobile while walking wasn't exactly the bright moment of his life.

The pain forced Robin to hold the mobile in an awkward way while he tended to his toe to see if there was any skin tear or something of that sort. There was none, thanks to his good luck. Seeing that everything was in the right place, he looked at his mobile again to close the game.

But when he looked at his mobile, his eyes went wide open. If his jaws could fall on the floor it would definitely have. The thing he saw gave Robin the scare of his life.

He saw his thumb going past the screen of the mobile and entering the game!!!!

What the hell!!!

The first thought that came to Robin's mind was that his mobile had been broken. But there were no holes in it. And the most astonishing thing was he was able to see his thumb in 2D inside the mobile!!!

"What is this? Is my mobile faulty or am I hallucinating?" Robin thought as he slowly pulled away his thumb in extreme fear as he felt that his finger might have been cut off. But after he pulled it off, his thumb was fine.

"What the hell happened?"

Out of extreme curiosity he put his thumb again on the mobile screen, this time with the intention to insert his thumb in the menu of the game. Just like before, the thumb went in.

"This is?... What is this?"

The previous successful operation prompted him to try his other fingers. And just like the thumb, his finger went in.

"Is this my power?"

Robin thought as he felt he might have gained some kind of power. He was extremely anxious at this point because he didn't know what was going on. He tried the same thing with the other hand and just like before his fingers went inside the game menu.

"Robin, you better come for lunch!!" His mother shouted, bringing Robin back from his anxiety.

"Calm down!! Calm down... You have your lunch and then you can see what the hell is wrong with your hands." Robin thought as he went to the dinner table to have his lunch after closing the game.

His legs were shaking in anxiety as he was having his food. His mother noticed that and asked

"Are you okay? Did something happen?"

"No mom, I am perfectly fine. I just have a project to finish which just arrived. So I have no time." Robin lied as he was basically gulping down his food.

After a good 5 minutes of having food he went to his room and closed the door like he always does. He needed to see what else he could do with his mobile. He opened the lockscreen to see if he could do it again. But this time he couldn't do it.

"What is going on? Did I lose my so-called power? Or was I just hallucinating before?"

He felt a little let down by this but then he remembered that it was in the game that he inserted his fingers. He opened his PUBG Mobile and after a few seconds of loading he tried the trick again.

And there it was!!

His fingers went right through the screen as he wished. Robin almost jumped from his chair looking at it.

"What the hell is this power?"

Now out of curiosity he used his fingers to slide across the screen for a bit and try to touch the character that was standing with a standard M4 in his hand. His finger passed through the standing guy but he could feel that he touched the solid M4 in his hands.

He was dumbfounded!!

He used two of his fingers to feel the M4 and tried pulling out the gun. And then the miracle happened!!

A small M4 was brought out of the game just like magic!! The M4 looked like the size of a finger which could be held with just two or three of his fingers. His legs were trembling for a bit but then he calmed down as he looked at the gun. It was so small that it was useless.

It was just a prop!!

Robin was a little disappointed as he kept the small M4 at his small table nearby. As soon as he kept the gun on the table, it automatically started getting bigger and in the blink of an eye, the small gun changed into a standard sized M4 gun!!!

"My GOD!"
