"fus"
Those words came like a whisper. Like that one person who tried speaking something in your ear and you didn't hear any shit. Yeah, that's right, that annoying kind of whisper. Robin tried that decibel. He was expecting a loud sound like before as he had always expected the worst.
There was no loud sound. But there was the same effect. A strong force was vomited out by Robin’s mouth and he could easily feel that the intensity didn't change due to his whisper. This meant It was time for mental celebration. Robin really wanted to dance at that moment. Could you imagine, a person by just speaking a word would just blow another person or a thing away. This was a superpower of the highest degree.
It was something like Yuto Okkotsu from Jujitsu Kaisen. OK fine, maybe not of that level, but the level of damage was definitely the same in some words of power. Now all he needed to do was learn all the words of power.
And so for the next 5 hours of constant travels, that was what he did. He had Google opened in his mobile and went to do quests or go to places where he could learn words of power. Of course for that he needed dragon souls.
He had a cheat for that too. After completing the Diplomatic Immunity quest, one could sleep at Whiterun for 36 hours, if one did that, after getting outside one would find a dragon. So in order to get more dragon souls, that was what he did.
Kill dragons!! Go to places that have words of power. Insert hand. Learn a new word.
It was a long and arduous process but he dragged his way to gain as many words of power as possible before he went out to meet his cousin. It was 3 pm when his mobile rang.
"Hello!!"
"Where are you? I am dying of hunger."
"Then why didn't you eat something?"
"Because I want to eat something from a restaurant."
"Fine, I am coming."
Robin had already acquired many of the words required for his own protection. But it wasn't all roses for Robin. Though he gained many words of power over the last few hours, it didn't help in making his body powerful or give him any magical knowledge.
And this time Robin was too scared to even do any random experiment. Two experiments in two days was enough. One was successful and another almost led him to death. After the first successful experiment with Gastly he had grown overconfident thinking acquiring powers would be easy.
He wouldn't go for a power upgrade or make any adjustments in his body until he was sure. Right now he had a word of power and a Pokemon that was almost invisible. That was enough. After disconnecting the call he got ready after informing his mother that he would be out with his cousin.
Of course he took Gastly with him. And also a gift for her cousin. An amulet.
Amulet of Articulation : Persuade checks in dialogue will almost always succeed and Speechcraft is 5–35% better.
This would definitely help her cousin who was studying in a field where all kinds of people show up. If she could persuade a patient to follow her advice, then it would be great for her as some patients tended to know 'too much' and follow their own rules.
And of course, convince her professors to give her more days off from work. Of course, Robin wasn't ready to share his secrets with her yet. His power was too dangerous for others to know and only when he was sure that nobody would be able to hurt him or his family would he then come clean.
And even then Robin was sure that not many would know. Maybe one or two people. He was a nerd by nature and getting attention from people was never in his dreams. If he could roam the world free and have a good amount of money, he would be happy enough.
After taking the amulet, he drove from his apartment to her hostel. She studied in Guwahati Medical College. Probably the top university of the state and one could only get a chance to study when one had appropriate rankings in exams. She was placed 7th in the whole state so one could understand how 'great' she was with books and knowledge.
She had been studious all her life and to top it all off she was beautiful too. Of course not someone who could topple countries like those novels loved to boot, but she was definitely above average. Medium sized hair length, black irises, near perfect nose and a sweet smile.
After 20 minutes of driving through the traffic he reached the parking lot of the hostel. After reaching he called her to come to the parking lot so that they could leave. Robin came out of the car while he waited.
The parking lot was an open one and there were many trees in the surroundings. He could hear the birds chirping. Some local birds and even one crane.
"Gastly, do you think if I use a word of power here, the birds here will flock towards me?"
Gastly who had been invisible near Robin was confused by what he meant, it could only look at Robin with confusion. Robin wanted to check how powerful his words were.
Animal Allegiance : A Shout for help from the beasts of the wild, who come to fight in your defense.
It was a shout to call upon nearby animals who would fight for him and would be docile. The more words used, more would be the cool down time for an animal to return back to normal and more further would the word be effective.

In fact, this was a great tool for hunting an animal in the wild. One could use the power to make an animal docile and come to him and then proceed to kill it. At least this was one of the reasons that a Dragonborn learns this word.
Of course, Robin wouldn't do such stupid and violent things. Any life was precious until one did some heinous crime that couldn't be forgiven. Thus without hesitation, he looked at a small bird nearby and whispered
'RAAN'
This was the word of power for Animal Allegiance. The whisper was enough to affect 4 birds as those were the number of birds closest to Robin and since he only used one word, it wasn't effective to a much further distance.
Within no time, all the 4 birds flew off the tree branches and flew to Robin. Robin lifted his hand as the birds sat on his finger. Two birds sat on Robin's shoulders.
This was unbelievable. A person was able to attract animals without the temptation of food?
Robin smiled as he looked at the birds happily sitting on his shoulder and fingers. One was cleaning their feathers while another one happily chirped. This was like a perfect harmony between man and nature.
Rita who had just arrived in the parking lot was dumbfounded seeing her brother with 4 cute birds. Without wasting any time she took her mobile to click a picture of her cousin with an awesome shot. But after the shot was taken the birds flew away.
The cooldown time for animal allegiance for the first word was only 30 seconds so it wasn't much. It was just lucky that she was able to even see it with her own eyes.
"What was that? How did the birds come so close to you."
"Oh! You are here. I don't know, maybe the birds liked me." Robin lied.
"Don't lie, give me the peanuts you just brought."
"I didn't bring any peanuts."
"Yeah then what did you feed the birds to let them act so mushy with you."
"I gave away all the peanuts. We are going for lunch and you want to fill yourself with small useless things!" Robin said as he went on with the lie she just conjured herself in her mind. She was still sceptical about how Robin managed to get some birds so close.
But she didn't think much and entered the car with Robin.
"Let's go! I have googled, we will go to Vivanta."
"Are you crazy? I am not paying so much for some fancy food."
"Chill! I am paying."
Robin just shook his head to her fanciful indulgence. Vivanta was a 5 star hotel in their city and was hell of expensive. She, being a doctor, could afford it but he couldn't. Definitely not now, when he was running on crisis mode.
"Fine."
With that he drove off. The restaurant was little far so he said while driving
"I brought a gift for you!!"
"Gift? Why? My birthday is next year."
"Well normally I don't bring gifts, but I found this amulet very beautiful. It's on the back. Take it."
Rita was happy that her cousin had brought a gift for her. She didn't care what kind of gift it was. For her, it was all good enough even if it was a cheap pen.
