Chapter 9: Chapter 08 : Overpowered Torch And Campfire

It was already morning, so I decided to put the wooden torch inside my inventory. 

Just like I routinely do, I checked the list of craftable items to see if it had updated. 

That's when I noticed a new item: a small campfire. The materials needed to craft it are four wooden torches.

I also just realized why the wooden torch didn't produce any smoke: I had crafted one with a "no smoke" effect in its name. 

It turns out there are two types of torches that I can craft: one is smoky, while the other is smokeless.

Because I created the campfire with wooden torches that don't produce smoke, it also doesn't produce smoke. 

This made cooking much easier, and fixed my problem of quick depletion of wood when boiling water in the desalination pot. 

The campfire's fire also doesn't extinguish, no matter what you do to it.

While I was waiting for the other pot to fill with purified water, I played with the wooden torch.

I tried various tests to extinguish its never-extinguishing flames. 

First, I swung it with all my might, hoping to kill the fire with the wind, but it died and then reappeared a few seconds later, lighting itself like magic.
